NSA Leaker Edward Snowden Admits Taking Booz Hamilton Job to Gather Evidence on NSA Surveillance

As the United States takes part in a modern day ‘Catch Me if you Can’ or Where Waldo Edward Snowden, if you will, some rather damning news is reported regarding NSA leaker Snowden.

As the media attempted to follow Snowden unsuccessfully some rather disturbing news came out with regards to his reasons why Snowden took employment with Booz Allen. According to the South China Morning Post, Edward Snowden sought the Booz Allen job to gather evidence on NSA surveillance. I guess we can add intent to Snowden’s actions. We do not know where Snowden will wind up, but it appears we now have some insight as to why he took a position that paid less at Booz Allen. Of course taking such a position for less money should have raised a red flag. But as Weasel Zippers states, who was he a mole for? Presently Snowden is in Russia, or is he? The Guardian is reporting that Snowden never crossed border into Russia.

Edward Snowden secured a job with a US government contractor for one reason alone – to obtain evidence of Washington’s cyberspying networks, the South China Morning  Post can reveal.

For the first time, Snowden has admitted he sought a position at Booz Allen Hamilton so he could collect proof about the US National Security Agency’s secret surveillance programmes ahead of planned leaks to the media.

“My position with Booz Allen Hamilton granted me access to lists of machines all over the world the NSA hacked,” he told the Post on June 12. “That is why I accepted that position about three months ago.”

During a live global online chat last week, Snowden also stated he took pay cuts “in the course of pursuing specific work”. He said: “Booz was not the most I’ve been paid.”

George Zimmerman Murder Trail, Day One: Prosecution Begins Opening Statement with “F*cking punks. These a**holes, they always get away.” … Zimmerman’s Defense Attorney Don West Opens Trial With ‘Knock-Knock’ Joke (Video)

Bizarre to say the least … The murder trial of George Zimmerman opened yesterday in Sanford, Florida with two of the most rather bizarre, inappropriate and questionable opening statements in quite some time. is this what out legal system has become these days? I can’t imagine an episode of Perry Mason, Matlock or even Law & Order beginning with such opening arguments in a trial. However, such was the case with the George Zimmerman murder trial. Is it a case of what the legal profession has become, or cameras in the court room. It is rather hard to believe that after all this time, this is what was determined to be the winners for the opening statements.

The prosecution came out of the gate with their opening statement by quoting the 911 call from George Zimmerman to the 911 dispatcher,  “F***ing punks,” and “These a**holes, they always get away.” It did not take long for the prosecution to place the race card.

Warning: profanity

Prosecutor John Guy was the first to speak, and surprised many in the court by using profanity in his opening remarks.

Guy quoted Zimmerman as saying to a dispatcher, “F***ing punks,” and “These a**holes, they always get away.”

“Those were the words in that grown man’s mouth as he followed, in the dark, a 17-year-old boy who he didn’t know,” Guy continued, describing Zimmerman’s remarks as “hate-filled words that he used to describe a perfect stranger.”

George Zimmerman attorney tells ‘knock, knock’ joke as part of opening statement and it fell completely flat. The defense went on to say that there were no winners in this case and that his client “George Zimmerman is not guilty of murder, he shot Trayvon Martin in self defense after being viciously attacked.”

“Knock-knock.” Who’s there? George Zimmerman. George Zimmerman who? Good you are on the jury.”

White House and HHS Secretary Kathleen Sebelius in talks with NFL on Promoting ObamaCare … Now the NFL is a Propaganda Shill for Obama?

A note to NFL commissioner Roger Goodell … DON’T DO IT, DON’T RUIN YOUR BRAND … SHUT UP AND PLAY FOOTBALL!

Is the NFL trying to lose viewership? According to a report from The Hill, Health and Human Services Secretary Kathleen Sebelius said that she was in talks with the NFL to help promote Obamacare. Can these people leave nothing alone that is an enjoyable diversion from the hell that has been the Obama administration? The NFL is a sport, not about politics. It is supposed to be about the great teams of the past like the 1960′s Green Bay Packers, the 1970′s Pittsburgh Steelers, the 1980′s San Francisco 49′ers, the 1990′s Dallas Cowboys and the 2000′s New England Patriots. Its about the who’s who of great players like Johnny Unitas, Walter Payton, Dick Butkis and Jim Brown who have laced up the cleats and put on the helmets that are enshrined in the Football Hall of Fame in Canton, OH. It is about legendary coaches like Paul Brown, Bill Walsh, Don Shula, George Halas, Tom Landry and Vince Lombardi. It is about the fans and their love of the game. The NFL is not about, nor should it ever be about Obamacare. Dear NFL, are you trying to piss off your fans, in being a tool of Barack Obama. Are you intentionally trying to ruin the sport? Obamacare is unraveling and the NFL looks to be a useful idiot in promoting a very unpopular lie to We the People. BRILLIANT!

Really NFL, this is the guy who you want to hitch your wagon to? A Prez who couldn’t hit the broad side of a barn with a football?

Health and Human Services Secretary Kathleen Sebelius said Monday she is in talks with the NFL to help promote new insurance options under ObamaCare.

Sebelius said the football league has been “very actively and enthusiastically engaged” in discussions about a partnership to encourage people to enroll in newly available insurance plans.

“We’re having active discussions right now with a variety of sports affiliates” about both paid advertising and partnerships to encourage enrollment, Sebelius told reporters.

It is simply amazing that a sport that has passed baseball for America’s favorite past time would ruin its image with its fans over something as unpopular as Obamacare. As stated at Professor Bainbridge, “Memo to Roger Goodell: I’ll take my NFL football without Obamacare propaganda.” Obamacare is unpopular not because people do not know or understand what’s in it, Americans are upset with Obamacare because they are learning every day what lies were told to them by Barack Obama and his minion Democrats with regards to the government take over of healthcare. There is a reason why Obamacare continues to be unpopular with more than half of America. It’s not because of a lack of marketing. After all this time, Obama still has not been able to sell the failure called Obamacare, go figure.

I have to agree 100% with Weasel Zippers sentiments, do they have to ruin everything for us?

Isn’t it quite ironic that the NFL would even think of engaging in talks to promote this boondoggle known as Obamacare, the very league who was AWOL on concussions and providing proper healthcare for its former past great players? Keep it up NFL, Obamacare is extremely unpopular. According to a recent new NBC News/Wall Street Journal poll,  just 37 percent say the plan is a good idea.

The Obama WH is also targeting the NBA. The Daily Caller has a chart that shows what the highest paid NBA players would pay with the Obamacare tax.

Thanks Barack Obama … 76% of Americans are Living Paycheck To Paycheck

How’s that “Hopey-Changey” stuff working out for ya America?

Obamanomics has been an unmitigated disaster. The economy is a disaster and any reports that it is getting better is hogwash. A record number of Americans are on food stamps, the actual unemployment rate is much higher than the presently reported 7.6%.And then we have the real indicator that tells us how Americans are really doing. According to a CNN poll via Town Hall, 76% of Americans are living paycheck-to-paycheck. For all the promises that Obama has made that he would make the economy better and in turn the lives of Americans. The joke is on you America. Obama may be an empty suit, but he has left 76% of Americans with empty pockets.

Empty_pockets

Roughly three-quarters of Americans are living paycheck-to-paycheck, with little to no emergency savings, according to a survey released by Bankrate.com Monday.

Fewer than one in four Americans have enough money in their savings account to cover at least six months of expenses, enough to help cushion the blow of a job loss, medical emergency or some other unexpected event, according to the survey of 1,000 adults. Meanwhile, 50% of those surveyed have less than a three-month cushion and 27% had no savings at all.

To make matters worse, in the past three days, Americans has lost countless money in their 401k’s with the DOW tanking after Fed chairman Ben Bernanke’s comments last week that they are going to taper back the flow of money and artificially supporting the markets. Bernanke said the economy is getting better. REALLY? 76% of Americans would disagree with you sir.

HOW IN THE HELL WAS BARACK OBAMA, THIS EPIC FAILURE REELECTED!!!

NBC’s David Gregory Does His Best Eric Holder Imitation … Acuses Glenn Greenwald of Aiding & Abetting NSA Leaker Snowden, “Why Shouldn’t You Be Charged With a Crime”

And you actually questioned whether NBC’s David Gregory was a lapdog for the Obama administration?

WOW, NBC’s David Gregory might have hit a new low in journalism as he does his best Attorney General Eric Holder imitation on Sunday’s “Meet the Press”. Wasn’t it just a month ago that the MSM was up in arms over AP-gate and Fox News’ James Rosen being wrongly accused of being charged as a criminal co-conspirator by Holder? Wasn’t it also the liberal MSM that was against the Patriot Act when Bush was president? They said it was an invasion of privacy and no one should be allowed to know what books you take out of the library. Now the NSA’s databases and data mining are on steroids under Obama and its the journalist who should be charged with a crime? Hmm.

As reported at The Politico, NBC’s David Gregory basically accused The Guardian’s Glenn Greenwald of aiding and abetting NSA whistleblower Edward Snowden and asked why he shouldn’t be charged with a crime for having “aided and abetted” former National Security Agency analyst. Needless to say, Greenwald returned fire and let Gregory have it calling his a shameful journalist saying, it is “pretty extraordinary that anybody who would call themselves a journalist would publicly muse about whether or not other journalists should be charged with felonies.” Edward Snowden has been charged with a crime and espionage; however, should we really be doing the same to investigative journalist?

NBC “Meet the Press” host David Gregory got a rise out of Glenn Greenwald on Sunday by asking the Guardian reporter why he shouldn’t be charged with a crime for having “aided and abetted” former National Security Agency analyst Edward Snowden.

Greenwald replied on the show Sunday that it was “pretty extraordinary that anybody who would call themselves a journalist would publicly muse about whether or not other journalists should be charged with felonies.”

Greenwald said Gregory was embracing the Obama administration’s attempt to “criminalize investigative journalism,” citing an FBI agent’s characterization of Fox News journalist James Rosen as a probable co-conspirator of a State Department contractor who was suspected of leaking classified information to Rosen. Rosen was not charged.

“If you want to embrace that theory, it means that every investigative journalist in the United States who works with their sources, who receives classified information is a criminal, and it’s precisely those theories and precisely that climate that has become so menacing in the United States,” said Greenwald, a former constitutional and civil rights lawyer who has written three books contending that the government has violated personal rights in the name of protecting national security.

Later, Glenn Greenwald tweeted, “Who needs the government to try to criminalize journalism when you have David Gregory to do it?” and, “Has David Gregory ever publicly wondered if powerful DC officials should be prosecuted for things like illegal spying & lying to Congress?”

More at the HUFFPO, including the tweet war between Gregory and Greenwald.

No matter what side one comes down on the Snowden debate as to whether he is a hero or criminal, the investigative journalism side of it is a different story. I have my reservations about Snowden, one normally does not go to China, Russia, Ecuador or Venezuela and fall your self a freedom fighting patriot. By the same token, I have my reservations as well about a government that no longer is of, by and for the people, but instead seems to be against its people. A war on terror is one thing, but so is the US Constitution and the Bill of Rights. But it is quite remarkable that the liberal MSM is going against their own and accuse Greenwald of the very thing that was a media uproar against the Obama administration and Eric Holder with their accusations that James Rosen was a co-conspirator. Some one might want to take away Gregory’s journalism card. Because contrary to his post interviewing tweet whines,  Gregory was not asking a question or debating, he was accusing.
