Hmm, Is This Considered Incest … Gay 65 Year Old Man Adopts His 73 Year Old Partner as His Son to Avoid High Pennsylvania Inheritance Tax

Just curious, why isn’t the following considered incest?

Here is one way for Gays to circumvent the law, adopt your partner as your son. A 65 year old man has adopted his 75 year old partner of 44 years as his son in order to avoid the high Pennsylvania inheritance tax. Pennsylvania only recognizes marriage as being between a man and a woman and presently has no provisions for civil unions. So in order to avoid the 15% death tax if either was to pass, the younger John adopted his 75 year old partner as his son. With the adoption, they can now will each other their assets with only a 4% tax.  Huh, imagine that, the dad is 10 years younger than his son. The reason why the younger man adopted the older was because the older mans father was still alive. You can’t have two primary fathers, now that would be just wrong, wouldn’t it. (sarcasm intended)

A man in Pennsylvania has adopted his partner of 44 years to circumvent high property taxes that would be imposed on either of the men if the other dies.

John, 65, and his partner Gregory*, 75, made the decision to become father and son to avoid a 15 per cent tax on any property and assets willed to one if the other should die – a much higher tax than married spouses or family members are required to pay.

The state of Pennsylvania, where the men reside, recognizes marriage as being only between a man and a woman and has no provision for civil unions at this time.

Wait a minute, so the gay lovers are now father and son and cohabiting is a sexual relationship? Isn’t that the definition of incest?  From how the story reads, the judge who resided over the adoption knew that the two were gay and even asked what was the purpose of the adoption. Thus, the judge knew the soon to be father and son were lovers and cared less. Sorry, but according to the law what these two are now doing breaks the incest law in the Keystone state. Isn’t it just amazing how have a legal system that overlooks the laws on the books for some, but not for others.

§ 4302.  Incest.
A person is guilty of incest, a felony of the second degree,
if that person knowingly marries or cohabits or has sexual
intercourse with an ancestor or descendant, a brother or sister
of the whole or half blood or an uncle, aunt, nephew or niece of
the whole blood. The relationships referred to in this section
     include blood relationships without regard to legitimacy, and
     relationship of parent and child by adoption.

Another question that needs to be asked, how many people get denied adaption who are doing it for noble reason, not to circumvent the law? Doesn’t it seem a bit odd that the courts would allow a fraud to be perpetrated? The intent of adoption is not to circumvent the law.  So if gays can’t get married, they just adopt each other? Huh. Although it would appear that this judge had no issue in granting the adoptions as he was told the truth as to why it was occurring.

The couple’s lawyer told the couple that they wouldn’t be required to tell the judge their sexual orientation or the nature of their relationship, but John worried the judge would ask, and he’d have to tell the truth under oath.

The judge, as it happened, did ask. ‘He said, “I am really curious, why are you adopting [Gregory]?”‘

‘I said, “Because it’s our only legal option to protect ourselves from Pennsylvania’s inheritance taxes,” said John. ‘He got it immediately.’

After signing the papers, the judge turned to John and said, ‘Congratulations, it’s a boy.’

How in the did a judge allow an adoption to go forward that would allow incest to occur and basically make a joke out of it? What would happen if a man and a woman did the same thing and were lovers? Would it be looked upon so favorably be the law?

As reported at the Daily Mail, as bird enthusiasts flocked to the Hebrides to catch a glimpse of the brown, black and blue rare white-throated Needletail bird last seen in Great Britain 22 years ago. Then suddenly, the rare bird became even more rare as it flew into the “green” energy wind turbines and was killed.  Below is the VIDEO of the onlookers gushing over the sight of the rare bird before its most unfortunate demise. Listening to them before, I can only imagine what they sounded like when the bird was killed by the evil, big “green” wind turbine.

There had been only eight recorded sightings of the white-throated needletail in the UK since 1846. So when one popped up again on British shores this week, twitchers were understandably excited.

A group of 40 enthusiasts dashed to the Hebrides to catch a glimpse of the brown, black and blue bird, which breeds in Asia and winters in Australasia.

But instead of being treated to a wildlife spectacle they were left with a horror show when it flew into a wind turbine and was killed.

John Marchant, 62, who had made the trip all the way from Norfolk, said: ‘We were absolutely over the moon to see the bird. We watched it for nearly two hours.

‘But while we were watching it suddenly got a bit close to the turbine and then the blades hit it.

Four Vanderbilt University Football Players Dismissed from Team Amid Sex Crime Investigation (Update: Players Dismissed from Vanderbilt)

FOUR VANDERBILT FOOTBALL PLAYERS DISMISSED FROM TEAM …

The Vanderbilt football team has made great strides in recent years in the SEC under the guidance and coaching of James Franklin. However, they find themselves  in the midst of sex crimes. Four Vanderbilt football players have been dismissed from the team. As The Tennessean reports, the four dismissed players have been placed on interim suspension from the university amid a sex crimes investigation by Nashville Metro police. The names of the players have not been named, as there have yet to be any arrests or indictments as the investigation continues into the incident. It has been confirmed that the Nashville Metropolitan Police Department’s Sex Crimes Unit began an investigation on Wednesday in regard to a matter that was alleged to have occurred at a Vanderbilt University dormitory. That investigation has been confirmed to be tied to the four dismissed players. What a sad state of affairs when even an academic institution like Vanderbilt fall pray to the crimes committed by athletes.

Four Vanderbilt football players have been dismissed from the team and placed on interim suspension from the university amid a sex crimes investigation by Metro police.

Vanderbilt announced the dismissals and suspensions for violation of team rules this morning. The players were not identified.

“The well-being of our students is of paramount concern to us, and we will not tolerate any actions that threaten student safety and security,” said Beth Fortune, Vanderbilt vice chancellor for public affairs, in the release.

Metro police and Vanderbilt’s administration were keeping a tight lid on details of the incident and no arrests had been made as of Friday night.

“I can confirm that the Metropolitan Police Department’s Sex Crimes Unit began an investigation on Wednesday in regard to a matter that was alleged to have occurred at a Vanderbilt University dormitory,” said Don Aaron, spokesman for Metro police. “Our sex crimes detectives became involved as the result of a notification to us on Wednesday from Vanderbilt University police. The investigation remains very much in progress.

UPDATE I: CBS Sports is reporting that the four Commodore football players that were dismissed from the team on Friday, have been dismissed by Vanderbilt and removed from campus. More from the AP. 

Vanderbilt has dismissed four football players from the team and kicked them off campus while Nashville police investigate whether a sex crime occurred in a campus dormitory.

The school’s public affairs department announced Friday that four players — none of whom it named — were suspended from the team. The university issued another release Saturday morning indicating they’re removed from the team and on interim suspension from the university “effective immediately, pending further investigation and/or a hearing.”

School officials say the players can’t return to campus “without explicit permission” from the school’s office of student conduct and academic integrity.

As reported at the Washington Examiner, the NFL says no to President Barack Obama, HHS Secretary Kathleen Sebelius and Obamacare. The NFL has opted to do the right thing and “Just Say No” to promoting Obamacare. Earlier, the NFL and other sports organizations were being pressured by HHS Secretary Sebelius to act as a propaganda wing of the White House and promote Obama’s healthcare law. A law that is so unpopular with the American people that only 37% of Americans according to recent polls actually support it. However, the marketing savvy NFL decided to want no part of being put in the middle of an unpopular health care law that would alienate a majority of its fans. Compare Obama’s popularity to that of the NFL that is at an all-time high.  What many, especially government and Obama do not understand is that sports is the ultimate environment that brings people together of all backgrounds. When a sports fan is at a stadium, bar or party no one cares about ethnicity, religion or political affiliation. It is a group of people with the common goal of a love of the sport and their favorite team. Why would anyone in their right might who runs a sports league or a team want to destroy that which makes sports great? Who would want a divided fan base that would boycott your product or worse, turn their allegiance elsewhere to another sport? But for Obama, the Divider in Chief, the community agitator, he knows nothing else but to divide people against one another to get his way.

Under pressure to promote President Obama’s health care law, the administration is in talks with the National Football League to form a marketing partnership during the upcoming season. The Department of Health and Human Services has reached out to the NFL – along with the National Basketball Association and Major League Baseball – in hopes of reaching a key demographic of younger Americans. It would be a big mistake for any sports league to inject itself into the contentious political battle over Obamacare, but I’d like to just focus on the NFL for now.

According to polls, Obamacare is extremely unpopular and getting worse as Americans continue to learn what was shoved down their throats by partisan Democrat vote. A recent poll by the Kaiser Family Foundation, 43% of Americans have an unfavorable view of Obamacare compared with just 35% who have a favorable view. Those poll numbers are probably even more amplified by those who are fans of the NFL.

However, the main issue here is that PR is not the answer to Obamacare. President Barack Obama, Harry Reid, Nancy Pelosi and the rest of the Democrats who passed this law against the will of the American people have had more than enough time to present this boondoggle to the American public. The problem is, it is a terrible law that was a lie. Obamacare does not lower costs, its raises premiums. Obamacare does not cover all people without insurance. Obamacare does not let you keep your doctor either. Thus, in the end, Obamacare is and always has been a lie. As The Weekly Standard opines, all the lipsticking of this pig” is not going to change the fact that Obamacare is bad for Americans and bad for America.

Hmm, so is the NFL now considered racist because they would not support Obama’s agenda?

4 year old Naomi West has been missing since Friday, June 28, 2013 in New Haven, CT. Naomi West was last seen on Friday and police believe she was taken by her uncle, 41-year-old Calvin Allen. The uncle is described as a black male, about 5 feet 11 inches. Allen was last seen wearing a green polo shirt and tan boat shoes.
