Rep. Trey Gowdy (SC-R) Rips into IRS Officials as he Fights Back Tears During Congressional Hearing
THE IRS SCANDAL … A CHARACTER ISSUE.
US Representative Trey Gowdy (SC-R) owns the room as he rips into the wasteful spending of the IRS as he fights back the tears at yesterdays Congressional Oversight Committee . Everyone, no matter what your political affiliation is needs to watch this. It is the reason why the abuses of the IRS affect everyone. Not only did this rogue government agency abuse its power and purposely targeted conservative and Tea Party organizations, but they also wasted the hard earned tax payer dollars on lavish conventions. Gowdy tells the story of a secretary in his office who asked him to borrow money for a birthday gift for her child, all the while that the IRS was spending $3500 a night on hotel rooms. As people are losing their jobs, homes and health insurance the IRS was spending $4,000,0000 at conferences.
Much more and many Tweets from Twitchy.

Trey is awesome. He did a great job when he was our DA, and as a politian, he has not yet ‘drunk the kool-aid’.
Maybe there is help for this country after all.
since summmary executions are not allowed, firing a bunch of these people is all we can hope for.

Good for Trey!
This rogue agency should be investigated, shut down, defunded and the doors on every office padlocked shut. This is one million times worse than the Tea Tax that started the American Revolution. A whole lot of people need to go to prison.
We need to hold them accountable for their actions. Just don’t let them step-down or retire with all benefits. Give them the equivalent of a dishonorable, just as if they were actually working for a branch of our the military.
Thank you, Rep. Terry Gowdy for speaking from your heart, and not from your wallet.
[...] that the 23,994 refund checks totaling $46,378,040 sent to the same address in Atlanta or the IRS was spending $3500 a night on hotel rooms and pending $4,000,0000 at conferences was the first sign of no controls, let alone [...]
To Representative Gowdy-You are the most refreshing voice being heard in Washington, D.C. today. keep doing what you are doing-you are the best!
