83 Year Old Victoria Kong Missing Since 5/3/13 After Arriving at Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport in Washington, DC (Update: Found Deceased)
83 year old Victoria Kong has been missing since Friday, May 3, 2013 after she arrived at Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport. She arrived on a flight from Barbados, and her family was waiting for her to be escorted off the flight by wheelchair, but she never showed up. Victoria Kong is said to have early signs of dementia. Authorities say that tracking dogs picked up Kong’s scent along the route from Gravelly Point, just north of the airport.

Metropolitan Washington Airports Authority police say Victoria Kong was last seen Friday evening at Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport. She was walking north along a paved trail for hikers and bicycles.
Kong’s family says they were waiting for her to be escorted off the flight by wheelchair, but she never showed up. Granddaughter Alexandria Anderson says Kong is showing some early signs of dementia and they’re very concerned for her.
Police say the fair-skinned Hispanic woman is about 5 feet 3 inches tall and weighs about 130 pounds. She has brown eyes and short black hair and was last seen in a long purple or brown dress with a flower print and sandals.
UPDATE I: The search for Kong will expand Monday to a stretch of land along the George Washington Parkway between the Pentagon and Theodore Roosevelt Island.
UPDATE II: Sadly, Victoria Kong’s body was found south of Gravelly Point off the George Washington Parkway approximately 30 feet from the bike trail in a wooded area.
