A six year old Maryland elementary school child was suspended from school after he formed his hand in the shape of a gun with his finger and thumb and said, “Pow”. Did we saw that the child was 6? Who thinks that a 6 years old knows what he is doing? Is this the insanity that we have reached when it comes to guns? Maybe these types of ”hand” guns will be banned in Obama’s upcoming attack on the 2nd Amendment. The boy was suspended for a day.
A Maryland 6-year-old was suspended from school for forming the shape of a gun with his hands and saying “pow,” a lawyer for his family said.
Robin Ficker said a boy, a student at Roscoe R. Nix Elementary School in Silver Spring, was given a one-day suspension from school with a conference planned for when students returned from winter break for the pretend shooting a week after 20 children and six adults were killed at Sandy Hook Elementary School in Newtown, Conn., The (Springfield, Va.) Washington Examiner reported Wednesday.
“What they’re doing is looking at the worst possible interpretation of a young, naive 6-year-old,” Ficker said. “This is a little child who can’t form the intent to do anything like that.”

A suspension seems heavy-handed, but this a child with a disciplinary history that we are not aware of. Sometimes the straws that break the camels back seem insignificant. All we know is what an attorney that was hired by the boy’s mother is saying.
The school is keeping pretty quiet, as they legally would have to.
The article does say that the child was previously warned regarding similar behavior.
Is this the insanity that we have reached when it comes to guns?

Report: Glenn Beck tried to buy Current TV, Al Gore went with Al-Jazeera

Al-Jazeera wasn’t the only media company with its sights set on former Vice President Al Gore’s little-watched Current TV.
Glenn Beck’s Blaze Media approached the struggling cable news network last year, the Wall Street Journal reports, but was rebuffed because “the legacy of who the network goes to is important to us and we are sensitive to networks not aligned with our point of view.”
Instead, Gore went with the Emir of Qatar-funded Arab news channel Al-Jazeera.
Al-Jazeera has been criticized for having a pro-Islamist bent, and accused of working with members of Al Qaeda. One of its journalists was arrested in Israel in 2011 on suspicion of being an agent of the Palestinian group Hamas. Dave Marash, a former “Nightline” reporter who worked for Al-Jazeera in Washington, said he left the network in 2008 in part because he sensed an anti-American bias there.
