Former CIA Director David Petraeus Heads to Capital Hill, Petraeus To Testify He Knew Libya Was Terrorism ‘Almost Immediately’
BENGHAZI-GATE COULD ESCALATE TODAY WITH PETRAEUS TESTIMONY.
After much speculation as to whether former CIA director Gen. David Petraeus would testify this week in front of lawmakers regarding the attack in Benghazi, Libya that resulted in the death of four Americans. It turns out that Petraeus will and is presently testifying this morning under oath. The question is, what will Petraeus say? Petraeus is presently testifying behind closed doors. Oh to be a fly on the wall.
Petraeus is under investigation by the agency for possible wrongdoing, though that’s not the subject of the closed-door hearings he is set to attend Friday. The September attack in Benghazi, which killed the U.S. ambassador and three other Americans, created a political firestorm, with Republicans claiming that the White House misled the public on what led to the violence.
As reported at Breitbart.com, they are reporting that David Petraeus will testify that he knew the attacks in Benghazi were a result of terrorism immediately. This certainly would contradict the Obama administration narrative and the faux talking points that UN Ambassador Rice spewed on five Sunday talk shows. This Petraeus testimony would be much different from what he initially said. Also being reported,Petraeus told this source he believed the CIA talking points given to Susan Rice came from within the White House or Administration. The Gateway Pundit reminds us that maybe it was the third email sent to the White House on the evening of 9-11 on the Benghazi attack that blamed an Al-Qaeda-linked group for the attack on the consulate that was the obvious signal.
Just a few minutes ago on CNN, Pentagon correspondent Barbara Starr reported that a high-placed source informed her that former CIA Chief David Petraeus will use his upcoming testimony to amend his previous testimony. According to this source, Petraeus will tell the closed door congressional hearing that he knew “almost immediately” that the September 11 anniversary attack on our Libyan consulate was a terrorist attack committed by the al-Qaeda-linked militia Ansar Al Sharia.

The Benghazi Question:
Who Changed Petraeus Memo?
Published November 16, 2012
Former CIA Director David Petraeus stoked the controversy over the Obama administration’s handling of the Libya terror attack, testifying Friday that references to “Al Qaeda involvement” were stripped from his agency’s original talking points — while other intelligence officials were unable to say who changed the memo, according to a top lawmaker who was briefed.

Why did former CIA Director David Petraeus testify in a closed session to Congress that the video clip was behind the libya attack.
When the words of his mistress days earlier on October 26th in a speech at the University of Denver is consider it is obvious the Petraeus lied to congress.
EXCLUSIVE: Petraeus mistress may have revealed classified information at Denver speech on real reason for Libya attack
Published November 12, 2012
At an Oct. 26 speech at her alma mater, the University of Denver, on the same day that Fox News reported that the rescue team at the CIA annex had been denied help, Broadwell was asked about Petraeus’ handling of the Benghazi situation. …
Broadwell quoted the Fox News report when she said: “The facts that came out today were that the ground forces there at the CIA annex, which is different from the consulate, were requesting reinforcements.”
Broadwell went on to explain more sensitive details from the Benghazi attacks, particularly concerning what the real cause might have been.
“Now, I don’t know if a lot of you heard this, but the CIA annex had actually, um, had taken a couple of Libyan militia members prisoner and they think that the attack on the consulate was an effort to try to get these prisoners back. So that’s still being vetted.” …
She suggests in her Denver speech that Petraeus knew almost immediately that the attack was a terror attack — possibly to free militia members.
A FEW DAYS LATER, Petraeus testified in a closed session to Congress that the attack was due in large part to an anti-Islam video and a spontaneous uprising, according to reports from the hearing.
Congressional leaders say privately they believe they were lied to by Petraeus when he testified shortly after the attack. Some of these members already considered charging Petraeus with perjury, but said they planned to withhold judgment until he testified this week. After resigning as CIA director, the CIA said Acting Director Mike Morrell would testify in his place.

When all is said and done the various factions throughout the Islamic world may hate each other but what each faction has in common with the other … the hatred of Israel, America and any nation that is not Islamic.
The Coalition forces were USED big time by the current Iraqi regime to oust Saddam Hussein. The blood of thousands of tropps were shed and billions taxpayer dollars were spent. For what?
Liberated Iraq calls on Arab states to use oil as ‘weapon’ against U.S.
Published November 16, 2012
A top Iraqi diplomat urged Arab states to “use the weapon of oil” against the United States because of its alliance with Israel, raising more questions about the Middle Eastern nation’s allegiance to the country that freed it from a ruthless dictatorship.
The shocking statement from a democratic government in power only after the U.S. and allies ousted murderous dictator Saddam Hussein in a costly and bloody war laid bare the Middle Eastern nation’s true allegiance.
“Iraq will invite (Arab) ministers to use the weapon of oil, with the aim of asserting real pressure on the United States and whoever stands with Israel,” Qais al-Azzawy told reporters in Cairo on Friday.

Fuller called Karzai’s statements “erratic,” adding, “Why don’t you just poke me in the eye with a needle! You’ve got to be kidding me … I’m sorry, we just gave you $11.6 billion and now you’re telling me, ‘I don’t really care’?”

It’s not rocket science to figure out at what stop the CIA memo no longer targeted the Libya attack as as terrorism. Maybe there is something I am not getting.
King: House intellegence committee can call Rice to testify about Libya remarks
Published November 17, 2012
Capitol Hill testimony has made clear the original CIA’s talking points on the Libya terror attacks were altered before U.N. Ambassador Susan Rice used them for a public explanation about what happened, so the next step is learn who changed them and why, Republican Rep. Pete King said Saturday.
The New York congressman told Fox News the CIA intelligence reports made several stops – including the White House and the Defense and State departments. So finding out who removed the information that connected the Sept. 11 attacks on the U.S. Consulate and nearby CIA annex in Benghazi, Libya, with terror groups will be difficult.
“The CIA had it right, and those talking points were changed,” King said. “It’s not going to be easy.”

Intel officials unable to say who changed CIA talking points on Libya, lawmaker says

Rep. Peter King, R-N.Y., told Fox News that intelligence officials who testified in a closed-door hearing a day earlier, including Director of National Intelligence James Clapper and Acting CIA Director Mike Morell, said they did not know who changed the talking points. He said they went out to multiple departments, including the State Department, National Security Council, Justice Department and White House.
“To me the question right now is who changed those talking points and why. … I’d say it was somebody in the administration had to have taken it out,” King told Fox News. “That, to me, has to be pursued.”

White House denies suggestion it scrubbed terror threat from CIA Libya account
Published November 17, 2012
The White House pushed back Saturday on suggestions that it scrubbed terrorist involvement from original CIA talking points on the fatal Libya attacks.
The remark by White House Deputy National Security Adviser Ben Rhodes followed former CIA Director David Petraeus telling House and Senate intelligence committees Friday that the agency’s original talking points suggested the Sept. 11 attack involved Al Qaeda affiliates and sympathizers — including Al Qaeda’s North Africa affiliate and a Libyan group Ansar al-Shariah. …
However, U.S. Ambassador Susan Rice made no mention of terrorists when appearing Sept. 16 on several TV shows to say the attacks in Benghazi, Libya were “spontaneous” and appeared to be sparked by angry protests over an anti-Islamic film.
