As reported at the Weekly Standard, a White House petition has been started and gaining momentum calling for Barack Obama to sign an executive order to strip the citizenship and exile anyone who signs a petition in favor of a state’s session from the United States. The title of the petition is, “WE PETITION THE OBAMA ADMINISTRATION TO: Strip the Citizenship from Everyone who Signed a Petition to Secede and Exile Them.” At the writing of this post, the petition had 8075 signatures. So let’s understand this, those signing this petition want to take away the citizenship from others for expressing their right to Free Speech as provided in the US Constitution? Secession is a serious situation as many are getting fed up with our federal government; however, this petition is a joke. As opined by the Lonely Conservative, “Do they think Obama will deport all of the hard working taxpayers that he needs to continue paying into the system so he can keep spreading the wealth around?” Amen Sister!
A White House petition gathering force calls for citizenship to be stripped and exile for anyone who signs a petition in favor of a state’s secession.
“Mr. President, please sign an executive order such that each American citizen who signed a petition from any state to secede from the USA shall have their citizenship stripped and be peacefully deported,” the full petition reads.
The title of the petition is, “WE PETITION THE OBAMA ADMINISTRATION TO: Strip the Citizenship from Everyone who Signed a Petition to Secede and Exile Them.”
Numerous states have begun petitions to secede from the US.

I’d put em all on the no fly list for starters, then see if any have security clearences that we can remove, any active duty service members should be court marshaled (no Art. 15) Just for giggles, wait until some patriot files a FOIA request and publishes the names of the tratiors then as a private employer, just fire thier traitorous butts just because it’s your right. The Constitution’s Article IV, Section 3, Clause 1 gives Congress the power to add new states to the Union. It does not contain a single word about secession. However, the Tenth Amendment says:
“The powers not delegated to the United States by the Constitution, nor prohibited by it to the States, are reserved to the States respectively, or to the people.”
That means that the states can do whatever they want, unless the Constitution prohibits it.
The Constitution does not prohibit secession. Therefore, secession is legal.

Coming from South Africa , this election reminded me of Zimbabwe. Made no difference whether Romney won or not… Obama was going to win either way.

Sm: Don’t ask for secession it might come true. Sorry, but if this ever happened it would not take long for the split USA to look like North and South Korea. There is a reason why people are moving away from high tax failed states to one’s with lower taxes. Businesses as well. The new secession USA would have to build a fence around it to keep people out, the same way that the US should have done with Mexico, However, this time it would be enforced.
something to think about, in the the 1920′s, my city had a parade of 20,000 robbed and hooded KKK’ers, a decade later no one would even admit to seeing the parade let alone membership.
Seccesion is like that, sounds good to some, galls people in the north, and in a decade noboby who signed will admit it
