Democrats Getting Ready To Move Obama’s DNC Speech From 74,000 Seat Outdoor Bank of America Stadium To 20,000 Seat Indoor Arena … Is His Popularity Waning?

Once again Barack Obama has a ‘Spinal Tap’ moment  … is Obama’s popularity waning? Nah, it’s just becoming more select.

Democrats are getting ready to move Barack Obama’s DNC speech from a 74,000 seat outdoor Bank of America Stadium to a 20,000 seat indoor arena. It would appear that maybe Obama and Democrats do not have enough buses for astro-turfed individuals bussed in and receiving free tickets to fill Bank of America Stadium. Democrats hardly want the optics of a half empty stadium when Obama speaks on Thursday night. It would seem that Dems are blaming the weather for the change. Hmm, and I thought that Obama could part the seas, and control the tides, weather and climate? Really Dems, now you are blaming the weather for the switch-a-roo? According to weather reports there is a 30% chance of rain. But wy not, you have blamed everything else except yourself during your Presidency.

Democrats are poised to avoid the danger of President Barack Obama accepting his party’s nomination before a partially-empty stadium by shifting his speech to an indoor arena and citing ‘severe weather’.

The Obama campaign have been working desperately to ensure that the 74,000-seater Bank of America stadium in Charlotte would be filled.

Buses for students from across North Carolina and even members of black churches in neighboring South Carolina have been arranged

Footage of rows of empty seats at the stadium, home of the Carolina Panthers, as Obama speaks on Thursday night would be politically disastrous – an enduring image of the contrast between his campaign of ‘hope’ and ‘change’ in 2008 and his dour, negative struggle for re-election in 2012.

So the question remains:

Marty DeBergi (rockumentary director):  Reporter at the DNC – The last time Tap  Obama toured America, they where, uh, booked into
10,000 seat arenas, and 15,000 seat venues, and it seems that now, on their  current tour they’re being booked into 1,200 seat
arenas, 1,500 seat arenas, and uh I was just wondering,  does this mean uh…the popularity of the group is waning?

Ian Faith (Spinal Tap maganer):   Obama minion & mouth piece: Oh, no, no, no, no, no, no…no, no, not at all. I, I, I just think  that the..uh.. their appeal is becoming more selective.

Best line of a post comes from the Vodka Pundit, President Empty Chair is trying to solve the problem of empty seats when he delivers his big speech. Brilliant! If Democrats can spring for the buses and tickets, why not umbrellas and ponchos for all?

All of this is going to translate into a suppressed and uninspired turn out for Obama in November. Not only is he not going to replicate what he did in 2008, it is going to truly pale in comparison.

President Barack Obama’s Popularity Wanes, Especially Among Woman, Now Negative 46-50%.

RUT-ROH BARACK … Women are turning on Obama.

President Barack Obama goes into the Democrat National Convention on a polling low as his popularity wanes. Only 47%  of registered voters in the latest ABC News/Washington Post poll see Obama favorably overall, down 7% from April. The most startling data is the fact that Obama has lost all of his popularity among woman and is now underwater with them. So much for Romney’s gender gap. So much for Obama and the Democrats claiming that the GOP is waging a war on women. Looks like it has backfired.

Full poll results HERE.

Barack Obama approaches his nomination for a second term with the lowest pre-convention personal popularity of an incumbent president in ABC News/Washington Post polls since the 1980s. He’s also at his lowest of the year among registered voters, with trouble among women.

Just 47 percent of registered voters in the latest ABC News/Washington Post poll see Obama favorably overall, down 7 percentage points from his recent peak in April, while 49 percent rate him unfavorably. He’s numerically underwater in this group for the first time since February.

The decline has occurred entirely among women registered voters – from 57-39 percent favorable-unfavorable in April to a numerically negative 46-50 percent now. That’s Obama’s lowest score among women voters – a focus of recent political positioning – in ABC/Post polls since he took office.

As stated at Blue Crab Boulevard, isn’t it fitting that Obama is now underwater, so many Americans mortgages are under water and the Dems at the DNC is at this moment showing a tribute to Ted Kennedy. Someone else who left someone underwater. OUCH!!!

It’s Official, US Federal Debt Now Exceeds $16 Trillion … And Counting

$16,000,000,000,000 and counting …

As the Democrat National Convention started their this afternoon, the US federal debt went over $16 trillion. Metaphor? In less than four years in office Barack Obama has already eclipsed President George W. Bush’s eight years. The increase in debt was bad enough under GWB; however, during the Obama presidency it has been unreal.

The Treasury Department said Tuesday that the federal government has now officially topped $16 trillion in debt.

The announcement, which came just an hour before Democrats gaveled in their convention in Charlotte, N.C., to renominate President Obama for another four-year term, immediately boosted the government’s grim fiscal picture back to the fore of the national debate.

Debt has risen at a meteoric pace under Mr. Obama — in less than four years in office he has already eclipsed President George W. Bush’s eight years. His advisors say he has a “plausible” plan to stabilize the debt, but defend his spending plans, saying to withdraw government stimulus now would hurt the economic recovery.

This has got to come to an end. The increasing federal debt has got to be stopped. This has become criminal. Any one who defends the record debt that Obama ran up knows nothing about economics and what is devastating the United States. However, if you think Obama has done damage during his first term , imagine, just imagine another one. Ramesh Ponnuru warns, “If You Think Obama’s First Term Was Bad, Imagine a Second.”

In another recent interview, Obama likened the Republican opposition to him to a “blister” that will be “popped” by the election (an image for which I will not soon forgive him).

If the president believes anything like this would happen in his second term, he is kidding himself. If Obama wins re-election, the Republican Party will react by moving right, not left. It will become less likely to compromise with Obama, not more.

If Obama wins, he will almost certainly win with a smaller majority of the vote than he got in 2008, in defiance of the usual trend: Incumbents who win re-election usually do better the second time around. Republicans will almost certainly add to their ranks in the Senate, and may take a majority. No way would they see this set of election results as a “decisive” statement of support for Obama’s views.

Majority of Voters Believe US is Worse Off Today than 4 Years Ago … President Obama Does Not Deserve Reelection

Majority of Americans think Obama does not deserve reelection and We are not better off today than we were four years ago.

Heading into the Democrat National Convention in Charlotte, NC, according to a Hill poll, 52% if voters believe that the United States is not better off today than it was four years ago. Only 31% of voters believe the nation is in “better condition. No wonder Obama’s minions and mouth pieces cannot answer the question when asked by the media. The simple question like whether are we better off today than we were four years ago, asked of all incumbent President is like asking the Obamaites the mysteries of the universe. As Hot Air stated, instead of answering the Reagan metric, chief Obama advisers David Plouffe, David Axelrod and Maryland Governor Martin O’Malley tried dodging the inevitable question in every presidential election

Also, 54% say that Barack Obama does not deserve reelection based on his job performance. Only 40% believe Obama deserves a second term. This is hardly a glowing endorsement by the voters of Obama.

A majority of voters believe the country is worse off today than it was four years ago and that President Obama does not deserve reelection, according to a new poll for The Hill.

Fifty-two percent of likely voters say the nation is in “worse condition” now than in September 2008, while 54 percent say Obama does not deserve reelection based solely on his job performance.

Only 31 percent of voters believe the nation is in “better condition,” while 15 percent say it is “about the same,” the poll found. Just 40 percent of voters said Obama deserves reelection.

Barack Obama Gives Himself an “Incomplete” On his First Term in Office as President … Sorry, It’s a “F”

When asked what grade he would give himself as President during his first term in office, Barack Obama responded with an “Incomplete”. Really Mr. President? This is not “no child left behind”, its the President of the United States. If the President actually thinks he deserves an incomplete, it basically means he has accomplished nothing. Sorry Barack, but with 42 months of unemployment over 8%, 23 million Americans unemployed or underemployed, record federal spending, high gas prices and a national debt that just went over $16 million. You not only are a failure Mr. President, you are an EPIC FAILURE.

Dianne Derby: Your party says you inherited a bad situation. You’ve had three and a half years to fix it. What grade would you give yourself so far for doing that?

President Obama: You know I would say incomplete…but what I would say is the steps that we have taken in saving the auto industry, in making sure that college is more affordable and investing in clean energy and science and technology and research, those are all the things that we are going to need to grow over the long term.

Hmm, the Gateway Pundit stated, it appears that Obama is slipping. Obama went from a B+ after his first year to an incomplete after four. Sorry Mr. President, you need to go back and take some remedial courses before you are allowed back in class. You might want to try Economic 101 and a course on the US Constitution for starters.
