No Ryan Bounce Eh, Swing State Purple Poll: After picking Ryan, Romney now leads in Ohio, Virginia & Florida
Paul Ryan proves to be a great choice for Mitt Romney …
If you were to listen to the MSM and the Republican nay sayers, you would think that there was no Romney bounce in the polls following the announcement of Paul Ryan as his VP pick. NOT SO FAST, that may not be exactly true. As reported at Hot Air, there is a Purple Poll showing that following the Paul Ryan selection, Romney leads in the swing states of Ohio, Virginia and Florida.
Check out the Purple Polls from Purple Strategies.
From Business Insiders comes the following encouraging battleground state polling where Romney has surged into the lead in some swing states and got closer in others. Ryan, who attended Miami University in Oxford, Ohio will be a great benefit to the Romney-Ryan ticket in Ohio in November 2012.
a new Purple Strategies survey finds that Ryan helped contribute to a decent upward swing in two crucial battleground states over the past month.
The Romney-Ryan ticket now leads President Barack Obama and Vice President Joe Biden in the key swing states of Virginia and Ohio, which each saw 5-point swings in the last month. Romney-Ryan lead 46 to 44 percent in Ohio and 48 to 45 percent in Virginia. Combined, the two states account for 31 electoral votes that could key a Romney win in November.
Overall, in the dozen swing states that Purple Strategies measures, Romney and Ryan lead Obama and Biden by a single point — 47 to 46.
Democrat pundits and the MSM can smear Paul Ryan all they want; however, Ryan is a huge plus to the Romney Presidential ticket. Obviously the same cannot be said to be true for Biden.
