ABC-WAPO Poll has Presidential Race Tied at 47% to 47% Between Romney and Obama … But Obama is he’s losing swing voting independents by a record 14%
Its a dead heat according to the most recent ABC-WAPO poll between President Barack Obama and GOP challenger Mitt Romney. However, those polled disapprove of Obama’s handling of the economy (54%-44%), health care (52%-41%) and immigration issues(52%-38%). However, here is no most significant aspect of the poll that makes one wonder how is this a tie? How does one lose in such key issues and demographics and it still be a tie? Is the sampling from non-swing states and solid blue one’s counted too much in the sampling?
While most Americans continue to disapprove of Obama’s handling of the economy, that’s not his only problem. More than half fault him on health care and immigration as well. Sixty-three percent say the country’s headed in the wrong direction, an unhelpful view for an incumbent. And among groups, he’s losing swing-voting independents by a record 14 percentage points.

Economic discontent and substantial dissatisfaction with Barack Obama’s performance in office are keeping Mitt Romney competitive in the presidential race – but not by enough of a margin to overcome Obama’s stronger personal profile. The result: A dead heat in voter preferences at the midsummer stage, with the prospect of an epic battle ahead.

Yet Romney faces significant challenges of his own in the latest ABC News/Washington Post poll. His supporters are more apt to be against Obama than explicitly for Romney – a “negative” vote that can be less compelling than an affirmative one. His supporters are less strongly enthusiastic than Obama’s. While Obama is vulnerable on the economy, Romney is weakly rated on having offered a clear economic plan. And Obama leads on a range of personal attributes – empathy, standing up for his beliefs and, especially, basic likeability.

Prior to distancing his pastor/ mentor/ friend in April 2008 while campaigning for the highest office in the land …Barack Obama was affiliated with Jeremiah Wright’s Trinity United for over 20 years … Jeremiah Wright’s Trinity United that according to its mission statement adheres to the principles of James Cone Black Liberation Theology.
Logic dictates that the April 2008 apparent Obama flip flop … the distancing of his pastor/ mentor/ friend … was politically motivated. In other words … it was never an authentic forsaking of his pastor/ mentor/ friend nor was it ever an authentic forsaking of his theology/ philosophy/ ideology.
Fast forward four years. Has the Marxist/Racist/anti-Israel/pro-Islamic Black Theology principles been deceptively furthered under the name of liberalism? Case Closed!
Why does Mitt Romney not want to make Barack Obama’s 20 year association with Jeremiah Wright … exposure to James Cone Black Theology … an election issue? I don’t get it.
Prior to casting his/her precious ballot for the next President of the United States … every American must be informed in regards to the dangerous reality encompassing Barack Obama. IMO

WRIGHT: We both know that if Senator Obama did not say what he said, he would never get elected. Politicians say what they say and do what they do based on electability, based on sound bites, based on polls.

MITT ROMNEY
Romney Condemns Ad Proposal Using Reverend Wright
Published: May 17, 2012
Mitt Romney on Thursday condemned plans by Republican strategists and a billionaire investor to run a $10-million advertising campaign linking President Obama to the Rev. Jeremiah A. Wright, his incendiary former pastor.
“I repudiate that effort,” Mr. Romney told reporters at an impromptu news conference Thursday in Jacksonville, Fla. “I think it’s the wrong course for a PAC or a campaign.” ….
Authors of the 54-page proposal to Mr. Ricketts wrote that “with your preliminary approval at the New York meeting, we have discussed this plan in highly confidential terms with the following proposed team members.”
“All are ready to jump into action upon plan approval,” the proposal said.

JOHN MCCAIN
Romney Condemns Ad Proposal Using Reverend Wright
Published: May 17, 2012
The proposal to use Mr. Obama’s association with Mr. Wright quickly brought comparisons between Mr. Romney and Senator John McCain of Arizona, the Republican presidential nominee in 2008.
Mr. McCain spoke forcefully during that campaign in defense of Mr. Obama, saying on Fox News that Mr. Wright’s rhetoric “are statements that none of us would associate ourselves with.”
“I don’t believe that Senator Obama would support any of those as well,” he said.
On Thursday, Mr. McCain indicated that he would again forbid advisers from using material about Mr. Wright.
“Senator McCain is very proud of the campaign he ran in 2008,” said Brian Rogers, Mr. McCain’s spokesman. “He stands by the decisions he made during that race and would make them again today.”

An Analogy
Your loved ones are about to venture on a trip through a mountaineous area. You learn just prior to their departure via an advisory warning that black ice implies the road conditions are treacherous. Would you strongly advise your loved ones to take a different route without revealing entire truth? In other words … would you allow them to drive off without all the info to make an informed decision?
Just as long as YOU remember that Romney has said “if told you what I’m going to do you wouldn’t vote for me”
Mysteries also arise when one looks at Romney’s individual retirement account at Bain Capital. When Romney was there, from 1984 to 1999, taxpayers were allowed to put just $2,000 per year into an I.R.A., and $30,000 annually into a different kind of plan he may have used. Given these annual contribution ceilings, how can his I.R.A. possibly contain up to $102 million, as his financial disclosures now suggest?

i don’t care if Mitt Romney uses money to burn in his fireplace. i don’t care if he wipes his butt with it. he could use it to wipe up spills for all i care. he is an angel sent from heaven compared to obama. just as long as YOU remember that. obama is running scared as are the 5 democrats who voted to repeal obama’s death care.
I really think a lot hinges on Romney’s pick for vice president. A good VP pick may excite more independent and undecided voters. If his VP pick is too conservative on social issues, I will stick with my first pick (from when I researched all the candidates in May 2011) which is Gary Johnson. It would be nice to see Gary get more press in the MSM, and to be included in more polls. Even if Romney picks a VP I like, Gary is the only guy I trust, because he has not sold his soul to special interest groups, and he does not flip flop on issues. He’s a small government guy and has the best executive and private business resume.
