Jorge Rodriguez, George Zimmerman’s Neighbor says … He had Bandages on his Nose & Head the day after Trayvon Martin’s Shooting Death

Reuters is reporting that Jorge Rodriguez, George Zimmerman’s neighbor that when he saw Zimmerman the day after the tragic shooting death of Trayvon Martin that George had bandages on the back of his head and one on the bridge of his nose. This account does follow the story that Zimmerman and his attorneys have told regarding a self defense scuffle. We shall see how this plays out in court.  Just curious, where was this news report after weeks of the bias MSM fanning the flames of racism in the shooting death of Trayvon Martin?

Neighbors of George Zimmerman say he had bandages on his nose and head the day after he shot dead Trayvon Martin, supporting statements by the neighborhood watch volunteer that he was beaten in a confrontation with the black Florida teenager.

The extent of Zimmerman’s injuries could be crucial to his legal defense under Florida’s “Stand Your Ground” self-defense law, which allows the use of deadly force when someone has the reasonable belief he could face death or great bodily harm. [...]

Jorge Rodriguez, Zimmerman’s next-door neighbor, told Reuters that when he saw Zimmerman the day after the incident, “he had two big, butterfly bandages on the back of his head, and another big bandage…on the bridge of his nose.” He was talking to a police detective in his driveway.

Anyone think that if the media covered this story in a fair and balanced manner that things might be just a wee bit different than claims of racism and bounties being taken out on George Zimmerman?

What in the world could facts have
to do with the blind zeal of a Lynch Mob?

This whole cas has been blown out of proportion by the race baiters looking for a method of trying to get some votes going their way during the coming elections.

We can only hope that the Florida jucicial system is up to the task of finding the actual truth. So far, the special prosecutor has failed to keep to the facts in the indictment.

I don’t think that the extent of his injuries are all that important. From what I understand, the only important thing is if he thought his life was in immediate danger. He could think this way for a number reasons….from what I can understand he doesn’t even have to be “correct” about the danger.

In relevant part, Florida’s “Stand Your Ground” law provides that “a person who is not engaged in an unlawful activity and who is attacked in any other place where he or she has a right to be has no duty to retreat and has the right to stand his or her ground and meet force with force, including deadly force if he or she reasonably believes it is necessary to do so to prevent death or great bodily harm to himself or herself.”

      So:
Was Zimmerman enganged in unlawful activity?: Probably not
Did he have a right to be there?: Yes
Did he “believe it necessary”?: Impossible to prove

I think Zimmerman is totally in the wrong here; but the law does appear to be on his side. This law is horrible.

SM: The issue that Zimmerman will have is that the 911 operator told him not to follow. If there is no evidence presented that shows Zimmerman stopped and was later confronted by Martin, then he might have a problem.

The racism accusations and racial profiling is bunk.

Where would George be if he had not shot Martin?

Well, he would not be in jail, but Martin would be, if he had been caught.

Would George be dead? That would have been Martin’s call.

Would you let someone else decide if you live or die, when you have a choice?

That seems like the job of the police to uncover and the courts to judge, and to me it seems that the burden of proof should be on Zimmerman. Yet the law seems to say that the benefit of the doubt is Zimmerman’s and that he should be shielded from arrest (and therefore a trial).

The fact that race is the issue on the media is infuriating. Here we have a chance to have a national discussion on “personal responsibility and citizenship” and it is totally blown because now we have to deal with racial issues that will stop any other conversation in their tracks.

Again, I will stress I do NOT believe Martin was RACIALLY profiled.

He was profiled though as a possible suspect of a possible Crime because he was a young, teenage Male however. I will say this till I’m blue in the face.

Heck no, WB. I can’t believe some of the people who have turned against George. Apparently they have never heard of the one punch homicide. Lock load and pump it in that a… if you are physically attacked. Nobody has the right to assault you. I don’t care if they are teens. We have all seen the lady that flips out an yells – dats my baby, dats my baby! Lady, I don’t give a crap. Teach the kid how to eat with silverware and keep his hands off his neighbors and don’t run with scissors and all that stuff. It’s 2012!

[...] A neighbor witness had stated that Zimmerman had bandages on his head and nose the day after the shooting; however, the media has tried to go out of their way with videos and pics taken at the police department that George Zimmerman had no signs of being in a scuffle. The MSM used this a a vehicle to question Zimmerman’s self-defense claims. It would appear that they might be back-tracking on those accusations. Share This [...]

While the mainstream media made sure to report with exclamations and gasps that marijuana was found in Trayvon Martin‘s system on the night that he was killed, many outlets failed to also report that the level was well below what medical studies show cause “performance impairment.” The same can not be said for George Zimmerman. According to the paramedic report, the vigilante neighborhood watch captain was on the prescription drug Temazepam, reports MSNBC.com.

Temazepam, also known as Restoril, is known to cause insomnia and anxiety, reports MSNBC. But there are more important side effects that were not mentioned.

      Newsone exclusively reports:

According to the U.S. National Library of Medicine, the drug is also known to cause “aggressiveness” and “hallucinations,” among other problematic symptoms.

From the U.S. Library of Medicine:

“You should know that some people who took medications for sleep got out of bed and drove their cars, prepared and ate food, had sex, made phone calls, or were involved in other activities while partially asleep. After they woke up, these people were usually unable to remember what they had done. Call your doctor right away if you find out that you have been driving or doing anything else while you were sleeping.
