Teacher in France Calls for Moment of Silence for Serial Killer Mohamed Merah

UNREAL … School teacher in France calls for a moment of silence for serial killer and possible terrorist Mohamed Merah. According to reports, the students told their principal that their French English teacher called the serial killer a “victim,” and that she said his links to al-Qaida were fabricated by the media and French President Nicolas Sarkozy. Mohamed Merah murdered three children and a rabbi at a Jewish school and killed three soldiers … but this fool thinks he was a victim.

France’s education minister called for disciplinary proceedings against a teacher in the north of France on Friday, after she allegedly asked her students to observe a moment’s silence for serial killer Mohamed Merah, the man who gunned down three children and a rabbi in front of Jewish school in Toulouse earlier this week.

Students in the the French English teacher’s class in Rouen wrote to their principal that she had called the serial killer a “victim,” and said his links to al-Qaida were fabricated by the media and French President Nicolas Sarkozy, according to AFP.

As stated at Weasel Zippers, what a shock that few were thrilled by the idea. Mohamed Merah was finally shot to death after a long stand off with police.
