FAIRNESS MR. PRESIDENT? AMERICA, YOU MAY NOT BE ABLE TO AFFORD A VACATION … BUT THAT DOES NOT STOP BARACK AND MICHELLE OBAMA.
President Barack Obama talks of class warfare, the 1% vs. the 99%, and fairness. However, Michelle Obama’s ski trip to Aspen, CO marks the 16th Obama vacation. Just curious America, how many of you have taken 16 vacations in the last three years? President Obama, you like to talk of fairness … is it fair that you and yours take 16 vacations on the tax payers dime when most not only have not taken 16 vacations, many have not even taken 16 days. That is if they are lucky enough to be employed.Granted former President GWB took many vacation days as well’ however, they were mostly “staycations” on his ranch in Crawford, TX.
First lady Michelle Obama’s weekend jaunt to Aspen, Colorado for a President’s Day ski holiday with her daughters Sasha and Malia makes the 16th time members of the first family have gone on extended vacations during their three years in office.
But his have become more controversial because of the costs associated with moving the first family to a public vacation spot, unlike the Bushes to their remote ranch in Crawford, Texas. For example, the Hawaii Reporter said the first family’s 2011 Christmas vacation in Hawaii would exceed $1.5 million.
Critics and even some in his own party say the vacations present a bad image at a time when many Americans are struggling to get by during the recession. According to recent Harris poll, only three in 10 said they plan to take a vacation lasting longer than a week in the next six months, and that number has been dropping during the recession as people worry about the costs of vacations. Other polls have found that less than half of all Americans take all the vacation time they earn because they can’t afford trips.

Who in their right mind takes an Aspen vacation after already having just been on a 17 day trip to Hawaii that cost taxpayers $4 million. How do these people claim a populist campaign with a straight face? They talk of the evil 1% … if you have not figured it out, Barack and Michelle are the 1%. You might want to remember this lack of empathy in the 2012 Presidential election when casting your vote.

Ya Boosh went to his ranch to get away from the white house where he could think, I don’t recall Laura Bush globe trotting either on the AF-1.

How many Secret Service people are we having to pay for, travel, housing, meals, etc? How much is Michelle spending on clothing, meals, accommodations and more? Bush took his vacations that he deserved and spent his time at Camp David or his Texas ranch. Didn’t waste our money on lavish vacations and travel around the world on our tax dollars and Laura was not at all extravagant on her wardrobe.
We cannot allow these people to reside in the White House in 2012. Americans need to put their thinking caps on for the upcoming election. Democrats are salvating over the fact that Santorium is a weak match for Obama. Santorium will be slaughtered by the Obama administration, his religious beliefs are insane. We cannot do another 4 yrs of Obama, the Democrats and his administration.
Bush asked several for a vote from the American people as to whether or not go to war and the vote was YES. Who kept us safe and protected us after 911, which Obama claims was our fault. What a sick, sick, sick mind. If he continues we will be a 3rd world country.
Obama a community organizer, whatever that is, absolutely no knowledge or experience that should of lead him to the Presidency. Mr. ego mania idiot.
He never stopped believing in Rev. Wrights beliefs and evilness. I guess Obama spends sleepless nights thinking how he can do more destruction of the United States of America.
Questions are never answered, how could he be born in Hawaii in two different hospitals and how could his mother travel there when Kenyan airlines wouldn’t allow her to fly because of her pregnancy due date. I would think his documents are full of incriminating evidence. Why does Obama have a Social Security number issued from Connecticut. He never even lived there but his father did.

Obviously you cannot or refuse to read. The post does make mention of W’s vacation days just as the link to the initial article does. However, there is a much different perception in everyone’s eyes to taking a vaca in the true sense of the word and taking a staycation. Especially when the economy is as poor as it is.
Sorry if you are a Kool-ade drinker. BTW, GWB is not President and its pathetic that you Obama zombies still use that lame excuse. Then again, when you have a president as lame of Obama who cannot stand on his record, what else would one do.
