Actually, Jimmy Carter did lower the thermostat in the White House.
In any case, the alternative was “Morning in America,” where the U.S. used military force and accommodated dictators in order to ensure a steady supply of cheap oil. Of course, that had unintended consequences.

#3:do you not use oil ? do you agree with Obama when he stated that he had no problem with $5.00 a gallon gas ? sure he has no problem, he doesn’t have to pay for gas, he uses it in excess with his gas guzzler cadillac and his $112,000.00 an hour aircraft. when your kids go hungry, think of Obama’s 4 million dollar vacation.
