KC Tebowed, Denver Beats Chiefs 17-10, Tebow Completes Two Passes … Put a Fork in the Eagles, They are Done
The Kansas City Chiefs got TEBOWED … Denver’s new motto is “Just Win Ugly, Baby”.
Question, has a NFL team ever won a game when their starting QB who played the entire game only completed two passes? I am not sure what the answer is, but it happened today. Denver QB Tim Tebow completed 2 of 8 passes for for 69 total yards; however, the Denver Broncos won the game 17-10 (VIDEO). Half of Tebow’s completions went for TD’s. How in the heck does an NFL quarterback only complete 2 passes in a game and in the age of the pass happy league, only throw eight attempts in an entire game. Tebow did not complete a pass in the entire first half of the game. WOW!
Good grief. Could QB play get any worse or anemic, yet the Broncos ended the day with a win.
That is more than I can say for the “dream team” Philadelphia Eagles. Stick a fork in the Eagles, they are done. Philly managed to blow their 5th fourth quarter lead this year as they lost to the lowly Arizona Cardinals 21 – 17.
Hey Philadelphia, how’s that multi-million dollar contract you gave to Michael Vick looking these days? Ever think last year was just a fluke and Vick is incapable of beating anything but maybe dogs? Today Vick had a QB rating of 32.5 against the Cardinals. So far this year Vick has thrown for 11 TD’s and 9 interceptions. The Eagles find themselves tied for last place with a 3-6 record with remaining games against the Giants, New England, Dallas and the Jets. Although at this point the Eagles might find difficulty in beating Miami, Seattle or the Red Skins. Face the facts Philly fans, the Eagles are dome and will not be making the playoffs.
