RSSHint, Hint, Hint … Bill Clinton Says Presidents Should be able to Run For a Third Term
You once, twice three times a presidential term. Former president Bill Clinton thinks that former Presidents should be able to run for a third term. Who on Earth could he possibly be referring to? Please slick Willie, two terms is enough for any President. We should be talking about term limits for US Senators and House Representatives and the over al;l amount of time any one individual can spend in political life, not extending it. All politicians should be subject to term limits, it would certainly end much of the lobbying and corruption.
Three times could be a charm — but not for him.
Former President Bill Clinton said Tuesday that presidents should be able to run for a third term as long as they take off some time after their second term.
“I’ve always thought that should be the rule,” he said on MSNBC’s “Morning Joe.” “I think as a practical matter, you couldn’t apply this to anyone who has already served, but going forward, I personally believe that should be the rule.”
Clinton made the remark in the context of a question posed by “Morning Joe” co-host Joe Scarborough, who said that many wished that Clinton could run again.

I can envision a Clinton/Lewinski ticket for 2012. Almost
anyone could do a better JOB than Obama. Lewinski served
our President better than ‘BiteMe’ is doing for the current

Wasn’t the original idea by the founders to have a 1 term president (6 years instead of 4)?

SM: Originally George Washington had to be begged to run for a second term for the good of a new nation. Washington never wanted to give the impression of being a King. All of the politicians today could learn a lesson, but sadly, whether they be Dem, Rep or Ind, they all are power hungry.
US Senate should be limited to to two 6 yr terms, Representatives Four 2 yr terms and no one politician should ever be allowed to be in public office more than 15 yrs. They need to serve their time and then go home and feel the affects in the private world what they did. Maybe then they would think more of “We the People”.

There are several suburbs in Massachusetts that have been rated the TOP 10 places to live in Forbes Magazine for years. We have absolutely some of the finest Colleges, Universities and the Best Medical Facilities and Hospitals in the World.
