Warren Buffett’s NYC Fundraiser For President Barack Obama … Turnout Called “Disappointing”
WARREN BUFFETT FUNDRAISER FOR OBAMA … A FLOP!
Who would have think it, uber-rich tycoon Warren Buffett’s fundraiser, at $10K a plate, for President Barack Obama who espouses that the ultra-rich should pay more taxes turned out to be a bust. According to some at the fundraiser … the turnout was disappointing. It would seem that it would be a perfect reaction to Obama’s first term as it has not only been a disappointment, IT HAS BEEN A DISASTER.
But the message appeared to have limited appeal to donors expected to pay $10,000 a plate; the turnout was “disappointing,” according to one guest.
An Obama fund-raising insider said the campaign has been getting resistance from some Wall Street donors from 2008 over the proposal, though Buffett said the event “went OK.”
EXIT QUESTION: Why would Wall Street donate to a President who has been such an enemy to them?

Warren and Barry may have at least
a few moments to discuss the ‘friendly
fight’ Warren is having with the IRS over
his sizeable back taxes. Perhaps
a ‘good word’ could be registered for
the multi-billionaire in his struggle
to avoid ‘overpayment’.
