WH Spokesman Jay Carney Says Obama’s Low Poll Numbers Not Obama’s Fault … Its Frustration Toward Washington

This time the buck stops with the American public and not Barack Obama, What Barack, its not Bush’s Fault?

Today, White House spokesman Jay Carney said that President Barack Obama was not responsible for his low poll numbers, it is the public’s frustration toward Washington, DC.  Denial  is not just a river in Egypt, it is alive and well in the Obama Administration. Way to take responsibility for your poor poll numbers Barack. Sorry, but when a President has a 53% job disapproval rating and a 62% disapproval rating in handling the economy and creating jobs … that is not dissatisfaction of Washington, that is a complete dissatisfaction with Barack Obama handling his job as President.

White House officials said Tuesday that President Obama’s approval ratings are dropping because Americans are furious with Washington in general.

But even as White House press secretary Jay Carney blasted political obstruction and game-playing, he declined to disavow comments Teamsters President James Hoffa made at a rally Monday, calling Tea Party members “sons of bitches.”

Carney, like the rest of the White House, kept his focus on Thursday’s jobs speech instead, saying that Obama did not hear Hoffa’s remarks and that Hoffa speaks for himself.

How gutless is Barack Obama? Not only can’t he take responsibility for his poor job of fixing the economy, Obama can’t just make the same comments that he has made in the past that over the top political rhetoric is damaging. Seriously, how does a President not make a comment about such hateful and inflammatory comments at an event that the President spoke at? Has Obama no shame or does he just make such comments toward Republicans.

It is exactly this kind of immature behavior on the part of Obama and lack of leadership that has got Obama to such a poor approval rating. He does not lead and he does not show any responsibility for his actions. However, as Weasel Zippers stated, “We should know by now, it’s never Obama’s fault.”

      Frustration with Washington????

It’s not the city, it’s the people in it! How hard can it be for them to get their faces off the television long enough to create a little strategy and solutions? IMO if Obama were actually bold enough to bring our troops home from the middle east, he just might find he has enough cash to create jobs… To try to support two wars while you’re in a recession? Not good. Its time to pull the plug on trying to rule the world and take care of our own.

It’s the ‘President’s’ job to hear what his supporters
in the Union Leader’s Club have to say. Barry has the
ears to hear it for sure. Could the King of the Jungle
be a ‘lion’ these days? I think the ‘lion’ King has a Tea
Party thorn in his foot or something.

Carney is a Dumb Ass! As for bringing the troops home that will not solve the problem totally. The troopers will then need jobs as we will not need all of them either. High unemployment follows the end of wars, check history. What bringing troops home would probably do is help reduce spending but it would also increase the danger in the world.

      Dear Hope,
I agree that I would like to see our kids brought home. Mine has already spent one tour in Iraq when it was still hot. But you take it too far when you say he would then have enough money to create jobs? Wrong, FDR spent massive amounts of money and then he spent another massive amount of money and it didn’t get us anywhere except in dept. If WWII had not came along he would of had the title of the worse prez ever before Carter and now BHO came along. BHO needs to take his epa and other economy straggling groups and get out of the way. Remember what Bush said to stimulate the economy? Go shopping. That’s it, he did not go out and tax and spend to try to get us out of that mess (and it was a mess) and it worked until the Fannie/Freddie mess (brought on by a democrap congress and a little sympathetic rino’s help also).
