RSSBody of Missing 3 Year Old BreeAnn Rodriguez Found Deceased
The search for missing 3 year old BreeAnn Rodriguez has come to a sad but not unexpected conclusion. Senath Police Chief Omar Karnes has confirmed that authorities have located the body of BreeAnn Rodriguez. She has been missing since Saturday, August 6, 2011 when she disappeared while riding her pink bicycle out side of her home in Senath, MO.
Karnes said he could confirm that the girl’s body had been found, however, he could not elaborate on details at this time.
Further details are expected to be released from the Dunklin County Sheriff’s Department.
Since the three year old’s disappearance, police have arrested 43 year old neighbor Shawn Morgan and charged with first degree murder. The dirt bag Shawn Morgan admitted to using a plastic bag to strangle the precious 3 year old girl. What a sick, sick SOB. So he admits abducting her, taking Breeann to his home and killing her. Some how I think he might have left out some of the other crimes he committed against this little girl. However, now that they found her body, we shall see if the charges against this POS are amended.
According to the affidavit, on Friday, Aug. 12, authorities conducted an interview with Shawn Morgan, 43, of Senath, who stated on the day the child went missing, he discovered her standing on the ladder at the pool in his backyard. Morgan said he went to the girl, grabbed her, and carried her inside his house, where he used a white plastic trash bag to suffocate her, by holding it over her face and mouth.
The affidavit continues, adding Morgan then stated he placed the child’s body in the same trash bag, drove to the floodway ditches at Highway 164, and disposed of her by throwing her over the railing. Morgan added that upon returning to his residence, he dismantled the bicycle that Rodriguez had been riding, and disposed of it in the same river system.

My prayers are with Breeann’s family who never deserved such tragedy in their lives. I pray, with all my heart, that God’s grace and mercy be upon them… blessing them all the days of their lives. Such a heartbreak… we all weep for Breeann and pray there come a time when the hearts of mankind will shun what is bad that we can live in peace and security.
Can’t help but wonder if the perp was the one who reported the suspicious van… no windows with a ladder on the back. Real sicko!

Bold and brazen to kidnap your neighbor’s child… I’d be checking his previous residences for other victims.

They did say the killer lived on the same street and other than that LE is saying very, little.
A family member of little Breean MAY have let some information slip because she said ‘all the kids played together and they never knew they had a preditor/killer on their street.’ She used the word preditor and then immediately used the word killer. Maybe by now the family knows the killers entire statement of admission and it’s what we are believe his true intentions were for grabbing this child in the first place

No. 5 Southernsue I could not agree with you more. This parasite needs to be skinned and strung up in a mosquito infested woods overnight and then dipped in alcohol. Repeat this until his chest quits moving. I am tired of reading about this kind of stuff happening to innocent kids almost every day anymore.

southernsue, there IS. For those who believe what the Bible says…it states it would be better to have a millstone tied around one’s neck and be thrown in the ocean than to hurt one of God’s little ones (that’s a paraphrase, but you get it).
Actually, I think that punishment would be sufficiently appropriate.
On Blink a poster asked if this crime could have been racially motivated since little Breean was of spanish decent? Is a possibility. If the man is also a bigot even an innocent child with a skin color he doesn’t like in his own yard could have set him off. NOT an excuse for him, because that hatred would have been inside him all long. He just finally acted on it if this is the case.
I refuse to believe that people who commit crimes do so out of the blue. There is something lurking in them and it simply comes to a boil and out it comes.
I don’t think anything about her being on the ladder of the pool is true. He was probably going to make up a story about her drowning in the pool and his statement is mixed up with lies. Usually, these people are euphoric after committing their murder and if the police are onto them, there’s no telling what might come out of their mouths… including things that in a crazy way blame the victim… ie she was on the ladder! If he was, in fact, the one who sent LE looking for a perp in a cargo van with no windows and a ladder on the back… you can see how he is mixing up all his lies with a common thread that nay or may not be based on fact; but is an indication of the confused and wasted feeling or emotions that follow the sense of euphoric climax. Usually, the child is sexually assaulted by their predator. Her autopsy should provide us with the truth about what he did to BreeAnn.
From what I’ve read, his wife and children are being scrutinized by the community. Whether they knew about his sickness, I don’t know. But it wouldn’t be the first time a pediphiles family is aware and in some cases participates in the assault. I’m biting my tongue until the autopsy and the final investigation is complete.

I’ve often thought crimes against children should fall under or be an extension of the Federal Disabilities Act… making it a federal offense punishable by death to murder a child. It would cut out the appeals which can end up in the Supreme Courts anyway. My plea is based on the fact that a child is undeveloped physically and emotionally and because of their size are unable to defend themselves.
