LET THEM EAT CAKE … SACRIFICE!
First lady Michelle Obama showing that she has skin in the game, NOT, slipped out of DC on a vacation under the cloak of darkness, or at least from the notice of the MSM. America is glad to see that a US credit downgrade, an anemic GDP, a 9.1% unemployment rate and a mountain of US debt does not deter Michelle Obama from altering her lifestyle … you go girl.
Mrs. Obama reportedly jetted into the Eugene Airport, landing at about 11 am PDT. She and family members then headed out in a 11 vehicle motorcade for the ride to Corvallis.
The White House has so far said little about the trip, which was unannounced. It’s unclear how long the vacation will last.
Mrs. Obama and family members flew on a Boeing C-40B, the military version of a 737 that serves as Air Force 2.
Mrs. Obama has in the past incurred criticism for her travels, including an early departure for her most recent Hawaiian vacation and a luxurious 2010 trip to Spain. Most of the costs of her travel are borne by taxpayers.

A trip to CORVALLIS, OREGON would not be on the top of my list as a LUXURY vacation. WHAT is she doing in Corvallis? I was not aware that Corvallis, Or is a vacation destination. WHY is she there?

Oh- I found out she is simply visiting her brother, Craig Robinson, OSU’s men’s basketball coach. Not a luxury vacation but still, how much does this little family get together cost the American taxpayers?
Maybe she is in hiding before the house comes tumbling down.
Well, if it’s a secret vacation how come we know about it. Are they trying to make it look like an inexpensive vacation? I guess Michelle will have to go shopping ahead of time or fly in a designer. They are just laughing at America. Ha! Ha! look what we’ve done. Kenya is calling for you!

Corvallis lies in the Willamette valley and is home to Oregon State University, about 40 miles from the coast. Beautiful country but I am baffled, as well. Personally, I’m still stuck in dream land where the first lady didn’t have the need for secret holidays…

This out of way destination will still cost the taxpayers a lot of money. If Obama is going it takes many dollars to fuel Air Force One, plus all the security and their expenses and then add the family and whoever else is going. Plus a 11 vehicle limousine motorcade. I guess they reserved the entire hotel too!!!!
