RSSNBC Cuts “Under God” from From Pledge of Allegiance Prior to US Open Golf Championship
What part did NBC not get that it was the “US” Open Golf Championship?
While watching the beginning of US Open Gold Championship on Sunday, I noticed something just was not quite right. NBC decided to cut the words “under God” from the reading of the Pledge of Allegiance from the beginning of its coverage of the U.S. Open Golf Championship. To make matters worse, it didn’t just happen once, it occurred twice. So much for NBC’s patriotic salute during the US Open where the liberal editors willfully and purposely decided to edit out “under God.”

NBC apologizes for omitting “Under God” stating that is was not their intent to do so. BS!!! That portion, the “under God” part was intentionally omitted and you know it. You should be ashamed of yourself. As stated at Michelle Malkin, like we needed to wonder what part of the Pledge that NBC would was left out.
Leave it to NBC to do a heart warming tribute to America and leave out “Under God”
DAN HICKS: We began our coverage of this final round just about three hours ago. When we did, it was our intent to begin our coverage of this US Open championship with a feature that captured the patriotism of our national championship, held in our nation’s capital for the third time. Regrettably, a portion of the Pledge of Allegiance that was in that feature was edited out. It was not done to upset anyone, and we’d like to apologize to those of you who were offended by it.
Just curious, during this years British Open, will “GOD SAVE THE QUEEN” be omitted as well?

This one of the reasons I don’t watch NBC telecasts unless it’s golf….
I grew sick and tired of the liberal marxist agenda they were spewing in their Law and Order episodes…
This is just sickening and I don’t accept their apology. They KNEW EXACTLY what they were doing.
Someone has to review these pieces they put together to be broadcast on NATIONAL TELEVISION.

yeah I never watch NBC unless there is something I want to watch on. I also boycott Pepsi unless I am thirsty and there is one close by and don’t get me started about Nike and their sweatshops…I never buy anything from Nike unless I need shoes or maybe some gym socks.

Good on NBC to cut that out unintentional or not, “under God” was added last to the pledge and quite frankly can be taken out as it will be only a matter of time until the vast majority will not want to be “under God” anymore.

To watch NBC is to watch a liberal, inexcusable excuse for a broadcasting company…let alone news reporting. SHAME on NBC…I,too, will NEVER watch the station again. No excuses for what they did at the U.S. Open…and don’t tell me the U.S. Open knew nothing about this either.
