We learn now that Anthony Weiner’s wife is now pregnant, yet she is supporting his political career and does not want him to resign. Huh? Weiner made his family friends and namely his wife a laughing stock; however, Huma Abedin is standing by her Weiner man. What Weasel Zippers said. The same cannot be said for Weiner ex-girlfriend Kirsten Powers. Yes, that same Kirsten Powers who is a Fox News contributor for the LEFT. Powers had defended Weiner; however, she will no longer as she has learned she has been lied to. The only person who appears to not want Anthony Weiner to resign appears to be his wife. More and more Democrats are lining up and calling for the resignation of Weiner. Sadly, they are most likely doing so for political reasons, not for anything that would be of a personal nature. However, it is Weiner’s relationship with his wife for exactly the reason why Weiner should go.
I had been defending him, based on what he told me, but no more. Weiner must resign from Congress immediately.
He knew I was going on the show Hannity, where I would use this false information to defend him in front of millions of people. I did, and I regret it. The previous day I had reluctantly done an interview with the New York Post at his request to talk about what kind of boyfriend he was. In that story I didn’t address the controversy but talked about my experiences with him. Nonetheless, my friends were furious when the real information came out and they realized he had allowed me to become involved in his sordid controversy. I just felt sorry for him and his wife.
Oh but wait, it just got worse for Weiner. The lewd, x-rated pics of his crotch shot were released for all the world to see. NICE.
The WAPO brings up an interesting premise regarding the future of Rep. Anthony Weiner (NY-D), if the tweeter pic scandal does not bring Anthony Weiner down, maybe redistricting in Albany, NY will.Due to the 2010 census, New York state faces a loss of two US Rep seats, could Weiner be one of them?
And now, if you ask those who know about redistricting in the Empire State, they say Weiner could very well find himself without a district for the 2012 election — no matter how his sex scandal plays out over the next few days or weeks.
“People look at this as a possible release valve that wasn’t there before,” said a senior Democrat monitoring the process.
When is this guy going to do the right thing for once in his life and resign? How could any man continue to put his wife, now pregnant, through such a scandal and an ethics investigation where all of the sordid details will come out. Then again, when it comes to Weiner, we must consider the source. Any one who would do such things that he had admitted to is so self-absorbed and all about him, why stop now.
The Weiner Watch is on … there is no way Anthony Weiner survives this.

No surviving. You=right, me=wrong (on this one anyway). The way he was being so careful with his words made me think that what he was saying was true, at least in a “Darth Vader killed your father” kind of way.

Somewhere along the line, the democrats just lost their normal supporters, like my Dad, who called himself a democrat at one time. They always point to JFK as their Camelot, but my Dad said they lost him long before that time.
He just knew that the democrats were off their rockers. Everything he stood for, they stood against; and LBJ cemented his worst fears in stone.
Democrats are solidly on the side of evil at every turn, and the abortion issue demonstrates this clearly. When a person thinks the rights of the born supersede the rights of the unborn, they have clearly gone to the dark side. Ask yourself, which side would satin choose? Is there any doubt?
With a firm mindset like democrats have clearly demonstrated, time after time, after time. Is it any wonder, they keep electing the worst kind of representatives for this country. They have mastered the art of voter fraud, which is demonstrated time after time, by their opposition to voter ID bills, and the desire to make citizenship no longer a requirement for voting. Have you ever asked them why they oppose voter ID? I have, and of course they called me a racist.
The democrat’s “I voted 2 or 3 times” mentality is leading this country down a road of destruction by electing the Weiner mentality type leadership.
Looks like they will roast Weiner’s weiner.

I am not against the theory of Voter ID, but how many legit voters are you willing to turn away?
My main problem with it is implementation and enforcement. Why would I want to give authority to a poll worker to deny my right to vote because they don’t approve of my ID? Poll workers are partisan and they are human. So if I get a driver’s license and sometime in the next few years I grow a beard and gain 40 pounds, will some semi-trained volunteer deny my vote?
The second problem is that not everybody currently has a government photo ID. Getting a driver’s license is not a requirement, and neither is a passport, etc. Putting photo on voters registration would be technically possible, but it would make the voter registration process more complicated, and every single current voter would have to re-register.

SM: Sorry, but the fact that we have drivers Licenses and they are used as ID for legal purposes, there is no reason why they should not be used as a form of ID for voting purposes. In some states the license is used to get the voter registration. With fraud being so ramped in this country, there are many simple ways to prevent voter fraud.
Suddenly the LEFT gets all crazy when it comes to actually proving some one is who they say they are when voting, go figure. We have pics of credit cards these days, college ID’s, etc.
Is it really asking much to prove who you are in order to vote? Really?

You know that if this was implemented, some a-hole is going to purposefully change his appearance enough to get denied by a poll worker and sue for a bazillion dollars.

How many people are you willing to disenfranchise in order to discourage individual-voter fraud, and how much individual voter fraud actually happens (a single person voting twice)?
The voter fraud of today seems to be more of the “I forgot to count those votes” or “I counted those votes twice” variety.
And yes, Weiner is a dirt bag and should resign; but unless he broke a law that is his decision, and eventually his voters. Marion Barry survived worse…ya never know maybe Wiener with go with the “Bitch set me up” defense next.

Ok, lets get past the fact that right now many citizens don’t have a DL for perfectly valid reasons.
What if I lose my wallet (or its stolen) right before the election? What if I grow a beard and the poll-worker rejects me?
Not saying that these will be wide-spread pandemics, but they will affect a handful or two of people.

SM: Because I happen to believe what you are referring to would happen in so few cases that there is a greater chance of those who would knowingly commit voter fraud that the 5 people you are referring to. However, those folks can be covered by having the right to vote, having their vote set aside and proving who they are. Most likely they would have something else that has their name and pic. Also, you can get a photo-drivers license the day after you lose your wallet. You would have to bey law, is illegal to drive and not have one. Stolen wallet is no excuse.

A pic ID would stop the fraud and the clowns that would try and prevent people from preventing people from voting. if a poll worker ever knowingly and purposely prevented a person from voting on a BS premise, they should be jailed.

BTW, my wife’s Grandmother became pregnant with my wife’s Father when she was 17 years old. She had just finished her senior year in high school, and the father was her married, 35 year old basketball coach (a clear case of statutory rape).
Thank goodness abortion was illegal. She would have had an abortion in a heartbeat. (She was of that mindset.)
She survived 3 husbands, but was never able to have another child.
My Father-in-Law was an unwanted pregnancy if one ever existed. It doesn’t seem to have affected him. (What am I saying, he is a S.O.B. (no pun intended)).

YoDOPE – If a woman is raped and becomes pregnant or incest or whatever; if the woman immediately gets an abortion within the first few weeks; I’m ok with that….it’s when these women or young girls get pregnant and have these babies murdered in their third trimester.
Why do they have to wait until this human being has almost all the organs necessary to live outside the womb and then have abortions?
