Sexual molestation and it was all just an accident …
Day one of the Casey Anthony murder trial started yesterday and it was not without some “expected” bombshells.However, that was not before Prosecutor Linda Drane-Burdick began opening statements and did a masterful job of providing the jury with a phenomenal time line of events and actions of Casey Anthony and the 31 days that Caylee was missing where the tot mom appeared to care less that her child was no where to be found. Linda Drane-Burdick went through the continual lies of the defendant where Casey’s entire life was nothing more than a fictitious illusion.

Drane-Burdick asked jurors, between descriptions of how Casey spent her days shopping, visiting friends and hanging out with her boyfriend with no signs of her daughter, “Where is Caylee Marie Anthony?”
The prosecutor described Casey’s appearance as a hardworking single mother as an illusion.
She also described Internet searches conducted on a computer at Casey Anthony’s home that showed queries for chloroform, neck-breaking and alcohol.
“Casey Anthony … appeared to be … a loving mother, trying to provide support for her daughter,” Drane-Burdick said. “But as the evidence in this case will show, that was an illusion.”
For months it has been rumored that the defense team for Casey Anthony was going to throw George Anthony under the bus and make rather unpleasant accusations regarding Casey’s dad. Attorney Jose Baez did not disappoint, or did he? It is actually hard to believe after nearly three years of preparation this is all that Jose Baez had to hang his hat on and more importantly his client. However, when one has nothing, what can one expect?
During his opening statements, Jose Baez laid out a story that 2 year old Caylee Anthony was not murdered, but instead was the victim of an accidental drowning accident. Jose Baez’s opting statement came in like a Lion and out like a Lamb. Or was it just in like a “lying”? Baez actually talked himself in and out of the sale. At one point he provided a plausible scenario and then it all went into fantasy land. Baez lead the jury right up to the supposed accidental drowning, implicated George Anthony and then never said what happened next. Baez just left the jury hanging with no closing or conclusion as to how Caylee would be found later in a wooded area. This was a much different chronological, story as provided by the Prosecution. It was just a case of the defense throwing as much mud or spaghetti on the wall and seeing what stuck. In the end, probably not much.
In Baez’s version of events, Casey was at home with her daughter and father, George Anthony. George hadn’t seen Caylee in a little while and began asking Casey where she was. The two proceeded to search the house. When Casey went into the backyard to see if her daughter was hiding there, she saw her father holding the dead child in his arms.

According to the defense, Caylee was able to climb into the pool via a ladder that was usually removed to prevent just such an accident. Then, they claim, George began yelling at Casey that she would go to jail for the rest of her life for neglecting her child; Casey broke down in tears and pleaded with her father to help hide the body.
Sadly, as referenced in his opening statement Jose Baez also went on to make accusations that George Anthony sexually molested his daughter Casey when she was a child and then later her brother Lee did the same. George Anthony took the witness stand following opening statements from the State and the Defense. Then Baez did the unthinkable and made the following statement regarding George molesting Casey, “She could be 13 years old, have her father’s p**** in her mouth and then go to school and play with the other kids as if nothing ever happened.” George Anthony looked on George categorically denied that he ever sexually molested Casey and that he was a party to any accidental drowning of Caylee Anthony.
Baez also leveled accusations that Casey was sexually abused by George Anthony, an allegation he disputed when he took the stand Tuesday as the first witness in the trial.
“Have you ever sexually molested your daughter Casey Anthony?” prosecutor Jeff Ashton asked George Anthony.
“No sir,” he replied.
George Anthony told jurors Caylee didn’t die at his house, and he denied disposing of her body and placing duct tape over her face.
“I would have done everything possible to save my granddaughter if what was said happened, happened,” he said.
One thing is for certain, with the defense that Baez has presented, there is no way to shoe any proof or evidence without Casey going on the witness stand.

Exhibit #1: just how sick Casey is by accusing her father. Her attorney is either going for insanity or the death penalty because when these lies are denied by everyone in the family and everyone that knows Casey, even the jurors who don’t favor the death penalty will realize just how despicable this girl is.
Of course it opens the trial for a second bite of the apple since Casey can claim this was the fiction of her attorney when it falls on its face.
George Anthony would never be a party to helping Casey throw Caylee in the swampy woods. Judge Perry needs Casey to stop shaking her head no in the courtroom.
I agre Brie. The defense is looking for anyone else to blame that poor baby’s death.
Why wait till now after all the time she has been in jail to accuse George? That party animal I am sure would have wanted out a long time ago.
She turns my stomach and so does her dopey lawyers!

The Eyes for Lies website has some interesting info on George’s testimony. He’s being completely truthful. I don’t know much about Eyes for Lies type of skills, but Casey’s face says it all, and it’s pathetic and she’s going down.

I highly doubt that all of those people that are clamoring to get into that court room are doing that to see her proven “INNOCENT”
