Don’t mess with Texas … Texas House Bans Offensive Security Pat-Downs
Inappropriate pat downs by TSA agents made a criminal offense by the Texas House. What will the TSA do now when they try an inappropriately touch an individual in an airport pat down. This could get interesting. Imagine a TSA agent being arrested in an airport? One thing is for certain, cell phone cameras and video will be running in all Texas airports for proof. The TSA anti-groping law would mean that not just children cannot be inappropriately touched, but also adults.
This will now be considered a criminal offense
The Texas House passed a bill that would make it a criminal offense for public servants to inappropriately touch travelers during airport security pat-downs.
Approved late Thursday night, the measure makes it illegal for anyone conducting searches to touch “the anus, sexual organ, buttocks, or breast of another person” including through clothing.
It also prohibits searches “that would be offensive to a reasonable person.”
We had stated in the past that the bill was gaining momentum … it has now passed.

I think it’s a wonderful idea. All this groping has not captured any terrorists to date. I don’t have a problem with a simple pat-down if everyone has to endure it but I do have a problem with touching people inappropriately. How many muslims are being groped in this manner?
When the Federal Government goes out of control, the states have to act to protect themselves.
The TSA needs to be totally restructured and retrained.
Why aren’t we profiling? How many six year old caucasion girls have terrorized airplanes? This upsets me so much. I have been the one randomly chosen for the pat down. I am a 5’10 blonde with blue eyes and fair skin and I felt like I had been groped. It’s not fun, and this just really seems inappropriate and ridiculous.

Because a real terrorist will not look like a traditional Arab.
