“The man bent down and seen the money jar, and he grabbed it,” Edwards says, recalling what happened Saturday.
Edwards says a man and woman had approached the stand she was running with her two friends. She says they started asking questions about the price of lemonade.
That’s when Edwards says the man reached down and snatched the jar of money she held between her legs.
To make matters worse, if possible, the $130 that was stolen from 13 year old Chelsea Edwards was not for herself, but instead she was raising is for her 2 year old developmentally disabled cousin. The Blaze is correct, these two people really are the “worst people of the day”. Just who are these two low life’s … 20 year old Gage Allen Turner and 21 year-old Amber Umbarger. Both have been arrested.
13 year old Chelsea Edwards learned a valuable lesson at such a young age. In life there are producers and takers. Guess which one Chelsea is? By the way, $150 from a lemonade stand … WAY TO GO CHELSEA! However, next thing you know politicians will look to tax her or prevent her from even selling it without a commercial license.

Low life’s is right. To steal from a child who is trying to do good in the world is the most dispicable behavior.
If we were to look behind the crime to the reason or motive for this, we would probably find either alcohol or hard drugs has so affected their value systems that they have become human animals who prey on society.
A pint size can of pork and beans would have worked wonders here. “bon appétit” or rather “can, bong “appé head”

A similar thing happen to me when I was 11, but I was selling moonshine in scout camp.
Just kidding.

Selling lemonade for a charitable purpose is great. But if you’re 13 and use the words “he seen it” you probably should be spending that time working on your education instead. That way someone isn’t out having to collect money to support you one day because your life was spent in a series of low-paying jobs and you’re broke when you retire. You’ll also be able to donate hundreds of times more money to charities in the future if you have the ability to speak properly.
Let’s educate the kids first, then put them out on the streets panhandling for us, ok?
