Joan Rivers Reveals She Ditched a Joke from Stand Up Routine Calling First Lady Michelle Obama … “Blackie O”
File this one under, Joan Rivers might have wanted to have kept this one quiet …
In an interview with Howard Stern, comedian Joan Rivers revealed that she wanted to do a joke about first lady Michelle Obama; however, she backed off because she did nit want to be perceived as being a racist. She was going to refer to Michelle Obama as “Blackie – O” in comparison to Jackie O and the former first lady’s sense of style and fashion.
YIKES, the audio can be hear at Radar On Line. Stern asked Joan Rivers if having to hold back on such a joke was one of the things wrong with this country. Rivers responded, “yes”. One really has to wonder the fear of being called a racists if someone like Joan Rivers who has never been afraid of pushing the envelop would have kept quiet. Rivers has never silenced herself, even when she made fun of herself.
One has to wonder why if Joan Rivers dicthed the joke in fear of being labeled a racists, why she would even want to discuss it for still being called a racist. Just a note to Joan Rivers, she was correct, she would have not only been called a racist, she would have been labeled a member of the Tea Party.
One side note to Joan Rivers, sorry, but when it comes to style and fashion … Michelle Obama does not even begin to hold a candle to to former first lady and dearly deaparted Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis.

Love it.
HAHAHAHAHA, Good one Joan.
Joan Rivers has been an has-been for 30 years now. Her attempts to use racism, ‘reality TV’ and plastic surgery to continue to get a poke into the public eye is pitiful.

. . . begin to hold a candle . . .
Just because Rivers was going to do a comparison of Jackie and Michelle doesn’t lead to the results of the comparison being in one direction or another; favorable or unfavorable.
Your assumption as to the comparison being favorable is not based on the facts presented, and leads to an unwarranted supposition.
#3,Im getting sick and tired of everyone calling out racism. I think its time we outlaw the word racism like they did the N-word!!
HAHAHAHA I still think it was funny.
How come the blacks can use the N-word in every day conversation and us Honkeys cant for fear of being arrested?
