House Majority Leader Eric Cantor Double Dog Dares Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid to Hold Obamacare Repeal Vote
OH YEA, I TRIPLE DOG DARE YOU …
Republican House Majority Leader Eric Cantor dared Democrat Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid to hold a vote in the US Senate on the repeal of Obamacare. Canotor laid down the gaunlet to Reid and stated that if he was so confident that he had the voted to prevent the repeal of the government take over of health care, then put it to a vote.
House Majority Leader Eric Cantor isn’t one to hold his feelings back — especially when it comes to Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid.
On Tuesday, the Virginia Republican threw a little more fuel on the fire, suggesting Reid (D-Nev.) was afraid to actually bring up the health care repeal vote in the Senate.
“If Harry Reid is so confident that the repeal vote should die in the Senate then he should bring it up for a vote if he’s so confident he’s got the votes,” Cantor said.
Of course the Democrat Leader of the Senate stated he had the votes but rejected Canter’s idea. What else would one expect an individual to do who was all talk and no vote? Spoken like a true Democrat who knows that he does not have the votes and a Senate Majority Leader who knows that 23 Dems are up for reelection in 2012 and many in “red” states. Harry Reid, talk about being “fraidy” scared.
“Not only would repeal not pass, but according to a poll by AP over the weekend, three out of four people don’t want it to,” Reid spokesman Jon Summers said. “Why? Because full repeal means raising taxes on small businesses, reopening the Medicare donut hole, and putting insurance companies back in charge of your health care.”
Either way, vote or no vote, Democrats look like they are once again going against the will of the people. In a recent ABC-Washington Post poll, Obamacare is still opposed by the American people.
Perhaps the most troubling data point for the president – he and the Republicans are tied for the first time in trust to handle health care, with trust in Obama dropping 9 points since last month to a new low, and trust in the GOP gaining 4 points, rough news for the president in advance of the vote this week in the House to repeal the health care law.

Harry Reid barley got re-elected himself. If it wern’t for the SEIU votes he would be at home.
Those 23 seats that presently belong to the Demorats are definately in danger in 2012. Harry will not schedule a vote because he may loose by the 2/3 needed to override a veto.
starting on page 1001, you will read that you will
receive a microchip implant with mandatory vaccinations whether you want them or not.

This isn’t news to anyone, but is all about posturing and politics (part of the job description).
It would be news if Cantor had said the same thing prior to the mid-terms, asking McConnell to let a bill come up for a vote, and not be filibustered (pass cloture).
