Missing American Tourist Christine Logan’s Stabbed Body Found Near Jerusalem
American tourist, Christie Logan, went missing on Saturday when she and her friend, Susan Kaye Wilson, were presumably stabbed by assailants while hiking in an archaeological site. Susan Kaye Wilson was hospitalized after she was found bound with her hands behind her back in a mountainous area outside Jerusalem. She was bleeding from multiple stab wounds. Wilson told police that the two woman had been assaulted by two Arab men.
“Christine and I walked down a path in order to climb a small hill. We sat there, and two Arabs passed by and asked ‘Do you have any water?’ I said, ‘I wish.” Wilson told Israeli TV. “I felt something was wrong. I turned to (Christine) in English and told her something doesn’t feel right and that we should return to the path.”
Wilson approached the main road, where she cried for help. Minutes later, the search for Logan begun. Hundreds of police officers, Israel Defense Forces soldiers and volunteers combed the area where she went missing. Roadblocks were set up along a nearby highway in attempt to prevent the assailants from fleeing the area.
Our thoughts and prayers certainly go out the the family and friends of Christine Logan. May she rest in peace.
Missing American tourist Christine Logan’s body has been found. What will this do to how the Obama Admin looks at the peace talks? Americans not safe just simply hiking?
More from Sky News:
One of them pulled out a very long knife, like a bread knife with a sharpened edge. They stabbed me 12 times. They came to kill. Nobody walks around with a knife like that for no reason.
British-Israeli victim Kaye Susan Wilson
The Briton, who emigrated to Israel in the 1990s, is recovering in intensive care in hospital, but has been declared “out of danger”.
Speaking to Israeli website Ynet about the attack, Ms Wilson said: “One of them pulled out a very long knife, like a bread knife with a sharpened edge.
“They stabbed me 12 times. They came to kill. Nobody walks around with a knife like that for no reason.”
She believes she only escaped with her life because she pretended to be dead.

UPDATE II: US woman’s body found in Jerusalem-Beit Shemesh area – Police launch homicide investigation.
The body of Christine Logan, who went missing in the Beit Shemesh-Jerusalem area, was found early Sunday morning after police and IDF searched all Saturday night, fearing she had been kidnapped in a nationalistically motivated incident.
“There have been no claims by [terrorist] organization organizations,” Rosenfeld told the Post on Sunday afternoon. He added that the investigation was a two-pronged approach between police and intelligence organizations to try to determine the motive of the attack. On Sunday, patrols made up of border police, police officers, and units that specialize in rural areas are continuing to sweep the area.

No American woman or just two are safe hiking anywhere in the mid-east. I am sorry for the death, but when are people going to learn to properly protect themselves?
now what would be said here if Americans went to the nearest Exxon and dragged a couple of towel heads out and stabbed them ? there would be an uproar from the democrats and liberals. i don’t hear that uproar from them for their fellow citizens !!
very scary and very naive,on the part of these two women. like texas gramps said, if you are going to go off on your own, you better have something to protect yourself with.
I’m sorry for this lady’s death and the stabbing of her friend. I have to agree with #2 and #4. We live in a messed up world full of evil & hate and unfortunately women (American or not) are not safe in foreign Countries. As much as I would like to think otherwise, I don’t feel safe leaving America.
I do hope they find those responsible for this attack on these women.
