56% of likely voters want Obama to be a one term “One-der”.
My how the times have changed and it took less than two years for America to become fed up with Obama and Democrats. As if you thought it could not get any worse for Democrats and President Barack Hussein Obama. According to a recent Democrat pollster Doug Schoen, 56% of likely American voter want President Obama fired in 2012. Also, do you miss George W. Bush? The continuous Democrat “blame Bush” campaign has been a failure for Obama. Americans wanted leadership and instead they got a finger pointer who says, the buck stops with everyone else, but Obama. It would seem so as the poll also showed that 48% of likely voters thought GWB was a better President than BO. The complete poll can be seen HERE.
Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell, rapped by the White House for pledging to make Barack Obama a one-term president, seems to have the support of a majority of Americans. A new poll provided to Whispers says that 56 percent of likely voters want the president fired.
According to pollster Doug Schoen, whose new poll shows vast support for the Tea Party movement among voters, the president is still liked by about half the nation. In fact, more like him personally than like his policies. Some 48 percent think he’s a nice guy, while just 42 percent approve of his job performance.
But that personal favorability doesn’t translate into re-election support when voters are asked if Obama deserves a second term. Says Schoen: “Despite voters feelings toward Obama personally, 56 percent say he does not deserve to be re-elected, while 38 percent say he does deserve to be re-elected president.” Worse, Schoen adds, “43 percent say that Barack Obama has been a better president than George W. Bush, while 48 percent say Bush was a better president than Obama has been.”
As Weasel Zippers asks with their picture of former President George W. Bush, “Miss Him Yet”? The 2010 midterms will be a referendum on Obama’s policies and it would appear that if the voters had their way … they would throw Obama out on his ears in 2010 rather than wait for 2012.
The following are some more damning poll data for Obama and Democrats presented from Schoen’s poll presentation:
– 54% say the Tea Party has been a good thing for American politics.
– Voters favor Republicans over Democrats on a generic ballot 48% to 39%.
Wait, it gets worse for Obama … Less than one week before the 2010 midterm elections, opinions have soured on Barack Obama. The Rasmussen Presidential Daily Index of Barack Obama is at -20. Could this be a result of his partisan campaign speeches targeting minorities and telling Republicans and Independents who disagree with him to ride on the back of the bus?
According to Rasmussen, 65% of likely voters favor getting rid of the entire Congress and starting over. Interesting that Democrat polling data is more favorable to the present Democrat controlled Congress and shows just how out of touch they are with the majority of American people.
Not surprisingly, 82% of Republicans and 78% of unaffiliateds say dump them all. Despite their party’s control of both the House and Senate, Democratic voters are fairly evenly divided: 44% say it’s better to keep the entire Congress, but 38% would prefer to give all the national legislators the heave-ho.

I would need to see who Obama is running against before I could answer a question like this.
I am disappointed in Obama, and I would rather have somebody better, but I would not blindly vote him out without considering the options.
Also, keep in mind that many who “strongly disapprove” him are upset over things that a republican would not fix, such as his failure to repeal “Don’t Ask Don’t Tell”.
Hell, I’d take GW back just to get rid of Obama.
Has Obama given up on his re-election bid already?
