Actually, I am not sure if O’Reilly stepped in it. I find it disengenuous by those on the LEFT to say, of it was not Muslims, it was extremeist Muslims who do it.
Hell, the President said it was a “sorry band of men.” Obama cant even call it a war on terror, its an overseas contingency operation.
Every one knows what O’Reilly meaant and I think he even stated on his show last night that every time we discuss terrorism we should not have to say extremeists. It becomes obvious who we are referring to.
The problem with this story is that Obama did not have the guts to come out and explain why it is wrong to build a mosque near Ground Zero. He can call cops in Cambridge, MA stupid, but he can’t call building a mosque in the shadows where nearly 3000 people died the same?
As for Whoopie and Joy … how typical of the hypocrisy of liberals who claim they are for the open expression of ideas.

I just read that Bill Maher defended Bill O’Reilly. Could this be true? If so, kudos to Maher.
Bill Maher and Al Sharpton defending O’Reilly. I think Joy has over estimated herself.
What we “viewed” was an example of what Hollywood liberals do when they are asked to tolerate an opinion with which they do not agree. I thought dissent was supposed to be was the highest form of patriotism?
And not that Bill O’Reilly needs anyone to get his back, but here’s the 9/11 Mosque issue in a nutshell: Set aside Imam Rauf’s extremism, connections to terror supporters, and the fact that the mosque is almost certainly going to be funded by terror-financiers in Saudi Arabia and/or Iran. To build a mosque there would be a DISGRACE, and O’Reilly telling it like it is was not “hate speech” because he didn’t insert the adjective “extreme” before Muslims. It was the truth.
who cares what the view thinks. it is the american people that count.
be at the polls in nov and vote out the democrats.
