Harry Reid the clueless …
So embattled Nevada Senator and Democrat Senate Majority leader Harry Reid stated that “they” (Democrats) decided that they needed help and if it were not for the Democrats bailing out the auto industry and Ford Motors, “they they would be gone”. Really Harry? Really! Now the Demcorats want to take credit for companies that did not take their bailouts, UNREAL!
Maybe some one might want to inform the clueless Harry Reid that Ford Motors took no government bail out money and they are doing better than any of the other ones that did. How do these people lie with such ease?
“We bailed out the auto industry … if it were up to them, Ford Motors would probably be gone … we decided that they needed help”
Reid’s full comment was as follows:
SEN. HARRY REID (D-NV): “Isn’t it a good thing today in America that we have an automobile manufacturing sector? If it had been up to them [Republicans], General Motors would be gone. If it were up to them, Ford Motor Company would probably be gone. Chrysler definitely would be gone.”
Maybe some one does need to ask Redi, if he knows what time it is? The question that really needs to be really asked, is harry reid capable of telling the truth.
McConnell also noted “as a result of the health bill, small businesses, student loan centers, tanning salons, medical device manufacturers, hospitals, and major American employers have all either laid off employees or are trying to figure out how not to.”
Reid didn’t like that one, either, and responded to McConnell by claiming that “remember, any poll you see today, the majority of the American people support what we did here with health care.”
To which one can only wonder what planet Reid has been living on for the past six months. Wherever it is, they clearly don’t have cable news there because otherwise Reid would know about polls.
Polls the three taken so far in July, by Pew, CBS News and PPP, that found solid majorities either favoring repeal of Obamacare or opposed to it. And he would know Rasmussen’s surveys have found majorities favoring repeal for months on end.
Get this, here is the state run media’s spin on how Democrats saved Ford as they echo the Obama Administrations propaganda … “The Senate’s top Democrat argued Ford Motor Co. probably would have collapsed if the government hadn’t bailed out its top two competitors.” Um, wouldn’t Ford have been in a better position if they had no competitors? More brilliant logic from the folks who have no business sense.

We’ll see if he is “going to win his seat back” in November. Your prediction sucks, too and as #7 from Texas pointed out—do you think Reid really cares if he gets re-elected or not? He does not. Besides, all of the damage and havoc he helped contribute to (along with many others on both sides of the aisle, but primarily and more Dem’s involved–can you say FRANK, PELOSI for starters??!) the damage… has already been done long ago and at THEIR OWN HANDS!
