I have been a Betty White fan since the 1950′s when I would race home after school to watch her on “Life With Elizabeth”. I never missed a show and tried to convince my father that we must move to Los Angeles and buy the house next door to Alvin and Elizabeth. That never happened, but thanks to Amazon I have some shows on DVD. Maybe some other “seasoned”readers will share their memories of Betty’s early career. Thanks so much for your article on an American treasure.
