Yes Virginia, There is a Santa Claus … Navy SEAL Matthew McCabe Found NOT GUILTY of Assaulting Iraqi Terrorist Ahmed Hashim Abed
Yes Virginia, there is a Santa Claus …
Chalk one up for the good guys as 24 year old Navy SEAL, Matthew McCabe, was found not guilty of three charges including the assault of an Iraqi terrorist by a military jury in Virginia
HERO: Matthew McCabe, a Special Operations Petty Officer Second Class
Matthew McCabe, a Special Operations Petty Officer Second Class, was facing three charges: dereliction of performance of duty for willfully failing to safeguard a detainee, making a false official statement, and assault.
The suspected terrorist McCabe was accused of punching is Ahmed Hashim Abed, who is the suspected masterminded the grisly killings of four American contractors in Iraq six years ago.
“I’m really happy right now,” McCabe told Fox News. “It’s an amazing feeling. I’m on cloud nine right now.”
As the Jawa Report states, “excellent news.” It is a shame that McCabe and other SEALS were ever charged in the first place. Because we all know that Iraqi, radical- Islamic, Muslim terrorists are known for their truth and honor. It is amazing that a Navy SEAL is put through the rigors and demands in Iraq and all this was caused by a terrorist coward making an accusation. This is hardly the manner that the USA should be treating it’s heroes.
Navy SEAL acquitted of assaulting Iraqi detainee.
A military jury has acquitted a Navy SEAL of charges he punched an Iraqi detainee.
Petty Officer 2nd Class Matthew McCabe, 24, was charged with assaulting Iraqi detainee Ahmed Hashim Abed, who was arrested in September in Iraq for allegedly orchestrating the 2004 murders of four U.S. contractors in Falluja.

Good news. Now give him a promotion!!
Dead men tell NO tales !!!
As overjoyed as I am at this just verdict, it breaks my heart that this honorable young man was forced to endure the unjust trial.
Three for three on the trials. I have no idea of who pressed these charges and further what idiot in the military would even take the word of an enemy combatant is a situation like this.
The next trial needs to be for the person(s) that allowed this charade to go on.
Let’s hear it for ‘reason’.
Good News. Those three never should have been on trial in the first place.
Question is: Obama could have stopped these trials from even taking place and he didn’t; WHY?
THUMBS UP FOR MATT MCCABE.
I was so happy to hear the news yesterday! These charges were bogus….these soldier’s were just doing the job they were trained to do.
Very glad for all 3 Seal’s & their family’s.
Why not just make punching them standard proseger? They’re killers anyway. lol
