CHANGE YOU CAN BELIEVE IN … The US National Debt topped the $12 trillion mark yesterday. That’s 12 trillion with a “T”. It is another record high for the debt and another crowning jewel for Obamanomics.
This latest milestone in the ever-rising journey of the National Debt comes less than eight months after it hit $11 trillion for the first time. The latest high-point is not unexpected, considering the federal deficit for the just-ended 2009 fiscal year hit an all-time high at $1.42-trillion – more than triple the previous year’s record high.
Much of the increase in the deficit and debt is attributed to government spending outpacing revenue – both exacerbated by the recession and the government response to it – including hundreds of billions in bailouts and stimulus spending and tax cuts along with decreased tax revenues due to rising unemployment.
How is that “Hope & Change” looking now America? US National debt now at a record high over $12 trillion … that’s $38,974.34 for every man, woman and child in America.
After all his promises, after all his teleprompter speeches, after all his talk of change, Barack Hussein Obama is nothing more that a super-sized tax and spend liberal. Make that socialist.
All this an still we have unemployment over 10%.
With a straight face President Barack Obama said that there is a need to bring the rising deficit and debt under control. Really Sherlock, what was your first sign? Mean while back at the ranch, Obama looks to ram through Congress a $1.3 trillion health care boondoggle.
How is that CHANGE feeling now America?

How’s ’bout putting up a thread about how the stimulus is creating jobs in districts that don’t even exist in the States they say jobs were placed?

Go ahead – take each Bush year, add them up, then show how that is more than Obama has spent in 8 months.
Funny – didn’t hear a peep when Bush proposed a $3.1 trillion budget for FY2009 (which passed) in Feb 2008. Not a peep.
