Daily Commentary – Tuesday, November 17th, 2009 – Al Gore’s Current TV Mocks Prominent Conservatives … Calls Palin a Gun-Ho & TWILF

  • A short animated clip on the network recently called Sarah Palin a TWILF and accused Limbaugh of being a vector for the “Stupid Virus”. Real classy stuff.

With great work like this biting investigative news, no wonder Al Gore is laying people off from “Current TV.”  Wow, what amazing TV coming from Al “I’m making millions off the global warming BS” Gore. They call Sarah Palin a Gun-ho and a TWILF.
Days after announcing another huge layoff, Al Gore’s Current TV referred to former Alaska Governor Sarah Palin as a “Gun-Ho” and a “TWILF.”
These disgraceful, sexually-charged epithets were part of an attack on prominent conservatives such as Rush Limbaugh and Glenn Beck, and came in the form of a cartoon ironically titled “The Stupid Virus”:
What class coming from Al Gore. Resorting to sophomoric name calling like a Gun-ho and TWILF. Gee Al, are you jealous?

My first question is, Al Gore still have a TV station? Really? Who knew. Does any one actually watch it? Better yet, even know what channel you can get it on?

However, one thing is for certain. Do not ever let a liberal or Democrat ever tell you that they do not fear Sarah Palin or that she is irrelevant. No one, but no one goes out of their way this much to attach, destroy and otherize an individual if they are not a threat. Whether it is the TV MSM, Newsweek, or the rest of the liberal media … no one would devote this type of effort to some one that was not a threat to their liberal agenda and way of life.

Interestingly enough in a recent Rasmussen poll, 59% of GOP voters say that Sarah Palin shares their values; however, in contrast, 74% of Republicans say their party’s representatives in Congress have lost touch with them.

CBS wants to point out that 1 in 4 do not have a favorably opinion of Palin, but the headline is deceiving. What a shock coming from CBS. In their poll 38% have an unfavorable rating; however, 23% are favorable, 17% have not heard enough and 20% are undecided. Thus there is a potential of 60% who could potentially have a “favorable” view of Sarahcuda. THAT IS WHY THEY ATTACK HER!!! In all, not bad numbers when considering the entire LEFT media has attacked Sarah Palin and her family from day one she was announced to be John Mc Cain’s VP.

Considering Palin’s polling numbers with that of Obama’s -10 Presidential Tracking poll where Barack Obama has the entire state run media in his pocket and suddenly Palin’s potential polling numbers don’t look so bad.

No one with an IQ over 60 respects Palin or Limbaugh.
      _________
SM: Well, since many here have IQ’s over 60 I guess your hypothesis is proved wrong.

You LEFTIST are so sad and predictable. Why do you fear Sarahcuda so much? Why do you lose sleep at night thinking of how you will next try and harm her.

If you think she is so irrelevant, why do you care and waste your time? HMM?

She is your worst nightmare and all you you know it. How dare a common woman rise to prominence? Which would make me ask, what does LIBS have against women? Are you sexist?

The “disgraceful, sexually-charged epithets” as is correctly described are indicitive of the hateful rhetoric and feelings of the radical left, so no surprise there. This is the type of disrespect toward people that we have come to expect from them.

That is precisely the reason I see some of the faux-conservative members that spew exactly the same style of garbage on this otherwise great board as agent provocateurs.

      But I digress.

Sarah Palin without a doubt in my mind and heart is the representation of the common person. Her family is quite average, with trials and tribulations that we all share. She loves her children, husband and her family is tight knit.

She shares the same problems and solutions that connect with the American public as a whole. Special needs, teenage pregnancy and other situations to be ironed out which are among those we, the common working American people, can connect with.

We also can connect with the American Spirit she has shown us. Uplifting, never faltering and resolutely positive in her ideals of the America we know and love.

I know of no politician that is even remotely as close to the American people as Sarah Palin. She is right when she states that one needs not be a politician to communicate and contribute to sound ideals. As a matter of opinion, if not fact, it really seems that once an elected offial arrives in Washington, D.C., most(not all) lose touch with the reason they have been sent there as soon as the first dollar from the lobbyists drop in their hands.

With Sarah Palin, America retains its right to a bright future.

And as an aside, regardless of political stance, my props to Oprah Winfrey for a dignified and respectful interview.

libhomo: jealous of Sarah ? that’s easy to see since a majority of you left handers are afraid of this very powerful woman. the left and muslims alike do not want a powerful, political female taking their fire.
i have to wonder if the lefties beat their women like their muslim friends ?

Red is right. If Palin wasn’t such a BIG threat to the liberals, they wouldn’t bother with her. But, just like the Tea Partiers, Palin threatens to expose their house of cards and actually inform Americans of the truth. The truth is an enemy to liberals.

And yes, Palin has a down to earth quality that excites many Americans and makes them HOPE that there really can be a CHANGE in politics and that someone will actually BE what they SAY.

When the Pilgrims came to North America, they emphasized the importance of legitimate individual self-interests. Individual freedom brought us the free market, and that brought us prosperity, far in excess of any other place on earth. Anyone who believes in prosperity through freedom will always be the stupid ones who are not elite. Today, Obama tells us the interests of community are more important than are the interests of individuals, and a majority of Americans voted for him. He is elite! He has put American government in opposition to individual freedom, the free market and, consequently our prosperity. He is sinking America’s identity into the rest of the world where 80% of the people are struggling just to survive day to day. The rest of the world objects to America having only 5% of the world’s people, yet using 25% of the world’s wealth. They, and Obama, believe America is unfair and he is busy apologizing for us. This is described in THE CHANGING FACE OF DEMOCRATS on Amazon and http://www.claysamerica.com.

    9. Scott on November 18th, 2009 11:07 am

Wow..once again the typical elitist liberal response…I highly doubt your IQ is over 60.

Limbaugh’s IQ is probably 100 points higher than yours, Palin’s too! I guess that why the INDEPENDENTS who voted Obama in office NO LONGER support him 10 months ago? Gee, I wonder why that is? Maybe because they are sick and tired of the libs attacking COMMON folk, including Mrs. Palin.

Losers like you wish you had have the fortitude or even common decency of a Sarah Palin.

Why did the AP put 11 reporters to fact check her book?

Get a life….your welfare check is waiting for you!

What is the difference in calling someone a gun-ho and a nappy headed ho? Race yes, but a ho by any other name… where are all the do gooders who were so offended by Imus? Are they not offended that a woman has been publicly attacked and smeared? Where are all those people standing up for women’s rights????

    11. super dave on November 19th, 2009 9:08 am

pat: Sarah is not black so it is ok for the public to abuse her. she opens up the truth about her own party and my opinion is that john mccain is the reason the GOP lost the last election.
      GO SARAH !!!!

@*: I think a lot of problems in our western society are because of the individuality.
to survive we need to be more we instead of me.

    13. Dolf on November 19th, 2009 5:33 pm

and….who listens to A. Gore these days except the tree hugging lefties?

    14. Dolf on November 19th, 2009 5:35 pm

      @11 Dave

I couldn’t vote in the US elections, but McCain would have lost my vote when he choose Palin.

      Otherwise…it would have been 50/50

    15. Dolf on November 19th, 2009 5:37 pm

but help me hope that we loose our pm (Balkenende)and have him as the EU president.

      you are lucky with Obama.
