Yes Virginia, there is a Santa Claus.
Yesterday the US Census Bureau sent a letter to the National Headquarters of ACORN notifying the group that the Census Bureau is severing all ties with ACORN.
The question remains, who is now going to count all the pimps and ho’s in the upcoming census in 2010? One thing is for certain, ACORN should have been given their walking papers long before the two “pimps & prostitutes” videos emerged.

“Over the last several months, through ongoing communication with our regional offices, it is clear that ACORN’s affiliation with the 2010 Census promotion has caused sufficient concern in the general public, has indeed become a distraction from our mission, and may even become a discouragement to public cooperation, negatively impacting 2010 Census efforts,” read a letter from Census Director Robert M. Groves to the president of ACORN.
“Unfortunately, we no longer have confidence that our national partnership agreement is being effectively managed through your many local offices. For the reasons stated, we therefore have decided to terminate the partnership,” the letter said.
The ACORN nut has been cracked. As Michelle Malkin states, it’s time to stop funding this corrupt organization with tax payer dollars.

Obama appointee, Robert Grove, has dashed off a letter, notifying the national ACORN headquarters he is severing all ties with the community organizing group for all 2010 census work.

There is no way this corrupt organization should have ever been involved dealing with the US Census in the first place, but that’s what happens when you have a community organizer like Barack Obama as President. Gee Barack, that power grab attempt went well.

Like Lou Dobbs said last year..where is the Justice department on this subject.. Barney Frank also said Acorn doesn’t get govt. money.. which leads us back to Freddie Mac and Fannie Mae.. and Frank, Maxine Waters, etc yelling at the whistleblower for reporting people who cooked the books for these companies, saying they were lynching a blackman.. and that they saw no problems at these 2 companies..that were giving loans to people who couldn’t afford them.
To relay a little story about acorn and the Census.. This summer an African American girl about 20ish came to my home. She said do you live here and I said yes.. She said does anyone live next door I said yes.. Never asked how many live here or next door.. went back to her car with her clipboard, sat and wrote and left.
i’m really glad to hear this, but i’d bet money that obama, pelosi, frank, and others will probably fire the man who wrote the letter, or start new organizations under new names and the farce will continue unhindered.
