The faith in Obama is gone … Even Democrats turn away fro The One.
It didn’t take long for Americans to figure out exactly what Barack Obama and hi agenda was all about. His poll numbers are sinking faster than the Titanic. In a Washington Post-ABC News poll only 49% say they believe the president will make the right decisions for the country. That is down from 60% at Obama’s 100 day mark in office. It is too bad that the bias MSM never vetted candidate Obama during the campaign, none of this would have ever occurred as he would have been filtered out in the process.
With control of the House, Senate and Presidency … America still does not support his socialist policies
Among all Americans, 49 percent now express confidence that Obama will make the right decisions for the country, down from 60 percent at the 100-day mark in his presidency. Forty-nine percent now say they think he will be able to spearhead significant improvements in the system, down nearly 20 percentage points from before he took office.

A majority, 53 percent, now disapprove of his handling of the federal budget deficit, and his ratings on health care continue to deteriorate. On the marquee issue of the economy, 52 percent approve of his actions, unchanged from June.
As Macsmind states, even heavily weighted Democrats polls are showing that Obama is losing support from all sides, put a fork in him, he is done.
Not only is Obama losing ground with Independents, The One, The Obamamessiah is losing political ground with his own base of Democrats and Liberals. However, the real issue and problem that Obama faces is the Independents running from he and his policies as fast as they can.
The numbers tell the story: In three key cases where Obama has dropped significantly, he’s also dropped by sizable margins among Dems and liberals. Let’s take the major findings driving the discussion today, and compare them with his drop among Dems and libs:
On that question, among Dems, Obama has fallen a surprising 11 points during that time period, from 90% to 79%. Among liberals it was even steeper: A drop of 13 points, from 84% to 71%. (This could also partly be a referendum on Congress, but it’s still suggestive.)
The Far LEFT is beside them selves. It is pretty bad when The Huffington Post is discussing liberals talking about Obama’s trust problem. The Right never did trust Obama, the Independents are running from “The One” and now the LEFT are upset with their boy because he cannot deliver the goods because no one but them want socialism and government controlled Obamacare. The LEFT are beginning to eat their own.
Some of Obama’s most ardent supporters don’t get who he is as a politician, so likely can’t fathom the challenges his presidency now faces. Paul Krugman writes about “Obama’s Trust Problem”, which Glenn Greenwald takes even further, explaining where Pres. Obama now finds himself. The Washington Post-ABC poll reveals Obama’s now suffering from a crisis of confidence from Independents, which Greg Sargent outlines also reveals he’s starting to lose his base.
EXIT QUESTION: How ineffective is Barack Obama, the man claimed by so many as being the end all be all, when Democrats control the Presidency, The House and The Senate and he still cannot garner any support for his policies?

Worse than Jimmy Carter. I never thought that could be possible.
You are so right on every single point you made.
Obama was voted into office with almost no experience at managing anything. He NEVER introduced a bill in his name while in Congress. He voted ‘present’ over 100 times, and this shows someone who will not make up his mind on any issue, and if his mind is made up, won’t take the heat for supporting it.
I also agree with you that had the media done its’ job, this would have been seen during the campaign.
I still cannot believe that Rev. Wright did not bring him down, his associations and close connection to known radicals did not bring him down, and his background as THE most liberal person ever to sit in the Senate did not hurt him.
The reason is that the MSM just brushed this off, were enamoured of his rhetoric, and made guys like Hannity, who were making a big deal out of this stuff, come off as near crazies and fringe type journalists.
I never believed that the American public could be duped so badly.
I know that Obama and the MSM do not like comparisons with Hitler’s Germany, but I studied WWII extensively with an emphasis on how the German people allowed Hitler to grab so much power for himself and I hate to say it, but the way Obama came to power with his”feel good” speeches is not that dissimilar.
I am hoping that now the people have gotten a clue and that the rage expressed in these townhall meetings is not fleeting. I pray that the American people start really pushing back on Obama and Pelosi and Reid and take a firm stand on the federal governments’ takeover of private enterprise.
Obama is really doing this for his ‘redistribution of wealth’ program. He really believes that he can do this by the feds grabbing power and giving it to ACORN, SEIU et. al. He is doing a great job so far.
Americans must stop this cold. And we can’t let up now.
Jayne, I agree with you! Way worse than Jimmy Carter and it IS hard to believe that anyone could be. But he is even worse because while J. Carter was ineffective and weak, I don’t think he had a grand design to remake our country. Obama is scary because he does.

We need to put a controlled spending STOP on Obama and the Democrats…The evil one said he would cut the deficit in half before the end of his four year term….the latest word is we will be in a monumental debt of 9.1 trillion dollars within ten years….
We have a warning from China to cut spending…they are concerned about our national debt and the money we owe them….about 2 1/2 trillion dollars….
The automobile dealers are worried about getting their money as promised…cash for clunkers….
Our veterans, who fought long and hard for us, are waiting for their disability checks…while gov’t employees are receiving bonuses…
And why does the members of the Senate and Congress get free medical care for the rest of their lives….what makes them special…
I read where there are 46 million people without health care and then I read where Obama said there are 7.6 million people without health care….does he even know.? This is someone that thinks we have 57 states….!!!!

I love watching the Obama-Zombies realize that Obama isn’t the greatest thing to ever happen to America. A large percentage will probably never wake up from the spell of Obama-mania and will chant “yes we can… hope… change” for the next 3 years. Then when Obama loses his reelection they will say it’s because America is such a racist country.

We’ve been saying all along that Obama simply did not have the experience needed to run this Country—and it’s showing. We’ve all had to pay an extremely high price while he spends, spins and lies! Not to mention—the economy has not improved a whole lot—taxes have gone up—federal deficit rapidly increasing—-still at war—no new jobs—health care reform a mess—-the list goes on and on. No one President or Administration could be realistically expected to fix everything (even in 4 years of incumbency)—-but Obama has made things even worse!
Only the ignorant will carry on the charade and swear he’s good for America, tell us we are racists and continue to blame GWB for everything past and present. It’s so pitiful. They bought the big dream of HOPE AND CHANGE…..sorry, Folks—-no refunds or exchanges until next election.
