More “We the People” Anger at PA Senator Arlen Specter Town Hall … “I don’t have any requirement to be here”

A message to Barack Obama and Democrat politicians … “YOU WORK FOR US”!!!

Democrats just don’t get it. No one wants to hear their lies and spin. The American people want to give Senators and Congressman a piece of their mind and vent their frustration at the utter disdain for that law makes have shown to “We the People” and the US Constitution.

Once again things got very heated at a Town Hall event for Democrat Senator from Pennsylvania. Or is he a Republican? Who knows with Specter it depends on which way the wind is blowing.

Check out the exchange below. These ivory tower Democrat Senators and Representatives just don’t get it. “We the People” do not want to hear their talking points. We get that from the MSM. “We the People” are also sick and tired of politicians trying to control “free speech”. It is astonishing to witness the lack of Democracy from the LEFT. Suddenly, the liberal LEFT, Democrats, etc are against dissent, protest, freedom of speech and threaten “We the People” with being throw out of Town Halls if any one dare speak their minds and show their frustration with the utter disdain that law makers have given them.

At one point, Specter shouted into his microphone that demonstrators disrupting the proceedings would be thrown out.

“We’re not going to tolerate any demonstrations or any booing,” he said after one audience member shoved another making an unsolicited speech. “So it’s up to you.”

H/T: Hot Air
SPECTER: I’m encouraging constitutional rights.  I’m encouraging constitutional rights by coming to Lebanon to talk to my constituents.  I could be somewhere else.  I don’t get any extra pay — I don’t have any requirement to be here.  But for somebody –
CROWD: [Angry murmuring] You work for us! You report to us!
SPECTER: Okay, okay, number — well, I am reporting to you.
If you do not believe you work for us, wait until the midterm elections when we start to throw those up for re-election out of office.

UPDATE I: PA Gov. Rendell thinks that those opposed to Obamacare are crazies and appealed to the majority of Americans. Crazy, huh? Is that why the majority of Americans are against government run Obamacare!!! What world do you people live in? By a 52%-32% majority, ‘We the People” are against Obamacare.
After watching clips of Democratic Sens. Arlen Specter of Pennsylvania and Claire McCaskill of Missouri being shouted down by protesters at town hall events Tuesday, Rendell appealed to “the vast majority of Americans who are still good, honest, decent people … to step up and say no to these crazies.”
“They’ve got to make it clear that we, the American majority, don’t want any part of people who are destructive and want to destroy this country for their own reasons,” he said.

…nor do the good voters of Pennsylvania have any requirement to voye him back in!

Arlen Specter’s career as a rep for PA is over. He will NOT be re-elected. IF they do vote him in again its akin to DC residents voting back in Marion Barry for mayor.

Call it what it is. Arlen Specter is a piece of shit. And that’s being polite. Coarser names are reserved for the scum in congress.

Well, he doesn’t have long to live under Obamacare.

oh, but to disagree. all politicians will be well cared for because they know that obama’s death plan does not include them.

      Lame Duck’s quack.

An ‘hour and a half’ of Arlen’s time is NOT enough
to report to constituents and the Country plus
listen to and Respond to our queries. Entire work
days should be spent with those for whom one works.
Videos of full sessions from each and every Town Hall
should be available and posted for viewing by The People
(it is technically feasible) so they can cumulatively
absorb and compare the totality of their servants
      intent and performance.

Arlen claims that the People showed-up with materials
that were “supplied to them”, copies of the ‘health plan’
and such. Arlen should have supplied them to the folks
      himself!

We want Representation! We are already getting the Taxation.

Senator A brought thugs to man handle people with questions about ObamaXcare. He should join his cousin Phil in Jail.

Its obvious that good old Arlen has no more loyalty or sense of obligation to his own people than he had for the political party in whose tenets he has claimed to believe. He is an embarrassment to his state and his country and must really consider himself way above other mortals and therefore untouchable. Hopefully he will soon have no obligation to be anywhere.

    10. Obama Coat Tails? Think Obamacare is a Winning Strategy? PA Sen Arlen Specter Down 12 in Polls to Pat Toomey | Scared Monkeys on August 14th, 2009 9:00 am

[...] My what a difference in a few months makes. Also, supporting a piece of legislation that “We the People” dispise. Arlen Specter finds himself behind in the polls to Republican challenger Pat Toomey by 12 points, 48% to 36%. How is it spossible that an incumbent Senator can only garner 36% support? Specter’s recent Town Hall fiasco should serve as a learning lesson to the rest of the politicians who wish to remain in office … “You work for US!!!” [...]
