Un-AMERICAN? UNREAL!!!
Since when as political dissent in America been un-American? Hey Nancy, I guess that whole “taxation without representation” protest over 200 years ago was un-American as well? Some one may want to send Pelosi’s and Hoyer’s editorial to the Obama snitch squad, flag@whitehouse.gov, looks like this bit of writing is rampant with health care lies.
Does Nancy Pelosi believe that it was un-American as well when Democrats and Liberals protest the war in Iraq or any other LEFT wing agenda? It is exactly the attitude of Pelosi and Hoyer that is creating the contentious atmosphere at Town Hall meetings across the country. These people think they are better than “We the People”. These people think they are more important than “We the People”.
What is un-American is purposely not listening to “We the People” and acting as if our voice does not matter. What is un-American is avoiding town hall meetings.

In the meantime, as members of Congress spend time at home during August, they are talking with their constituents about reform. The dialogue between elected representatives and constituents is at the heart of our democracy and plays an integral role in assuring that the legislation we write reflects the genuine needs and concerns of the people we represent. However, it is now evident that an ugly campaign is underway not merely to misrepresent the health insurance reform legislation, but to disrupt public meetings and prevent members of Congress and constituents from conducting a civil dialogue. These tactics have included hanging in effigy one Democratic member of Congress in Maryland and protesters holding a sign displaying a tombstone with the name of another congressman in Texas, where protesters also shouted “Just say no!” drowning out those who wanted to hold a substantive discussion.

Every time I hear the name Nancy Pelosi, I am reminded it’s time to “drain the swamp” of the subspecies that comprises our current Congress!
Well actually SanFran Nan did see swastikas. It turns out several images are shown on lefty sites of signs with swastikas – . Now as Paul Harvey would have said, here’s the rest of the story. The signs showing swastikas were always used to show NO to dictatorship (such as a swastika in the universal no symbol of a circle with a line through it). None of the signs could possibly be interpreted to in any way celebrate Nazism or swastikas.
Now the Obama thugs are running around as fast as they can telling people not to believe their lying eyes and ears. One can read the House Health care Control bill online and see that it indeed requires euthanasia counseling for the aged and infirmed. When you see the term “shall” in a legal document it means MUST. Can and May are permissive, Shall is a requirement.
Next you can use your common sense, listen to Obama’s own words about taking the red or blue pill OR believe Obama’s Thugs when they tell you health care won’t be rationed. Of course it will have to be rationed fools! No medical system could sustain itself without rationing. Right now, costs ration health care. When you add 50 million people to the system along with 31 government agencies, try to tell me you can cut costs and not ration health care!
Read the words your congress has written about “cost containment”; see how nationalized health care “works” in Europe and Canada. Don’t be a guppy and just drink the koolaid; learn the facts not just what you are told.
Of course I find myself writing to the same audience that I begged to learn the facts BEFORE they blindly voted for “hope and change”.

Call us “mobs” and “un-American”, lie and say that we were paid by some special interest group, send their union thugs out to intimidate and beat us up, set up a “war room” to tell other representatives how to “deal with” us, and then outright lie by saying that we are spreading rumors when we say that abortions and illegals will be funded under the “public option”. These are NOT rumors or lies. The House refused amendments that would ban abortion funding and illegals.
Nancy Pelosi it is about time that you stop calling Americans names who have different opinions than yours. Your comments are bullying and reprehensible. It is apparent that you refuse to address the fundamental concerns Americans have as you resort to name calling. Many Americans support a culture of life that protects the rights of all from womb to tomb. Furthermore,
Americans who are against using tax monies to fund abortions are pro life not anti- American.
I would like to have a civil dialogue with you about this topic but realize it could never happen because you are truly not open to honest and thoughtful discussion.
