Do as I say, not as I do. Is this really the image a President dealing with a recession should have? It appears that not only does President Barack Obama find time to accuse doctors of putting fees ahead of patient care and accuse police of racially profiling when none existed; The One also finds time to play golf ten times in as many weeks. All this during a recession when Americans are losing their jobs, losing their homes and asked to make sacrifices.
The question that comes to mind is, how would the MSM react if this was GWB or any Republican president? Would the terms out of touch be used? Is the president allowed some time off and play a round or two, of course. However, would not it also be a nice example if he cut back on his play time as most Americans find them selves sacrificing during this economy. But alas, it is not like he is the President who promised change. With a recession/depression at hand, is this really the image to “We the People” that a president should have?
President Obama has become quite the golf fanatic since he began his presidency.
The commander in chief is out on the links again today, playing a round at Andrews Air Force Base. This is the 10th time in as many weeks that Obama has found time to squeeze in some golf (all weekends, except for one Monday.)
In fact, the White House press corps has come up with a nickname to refer to the President’s golfing habits: “The First Duffer,” as they refer to him in pool reports when he’s hitting the links.
One can only imagine the newspaper headlines and top TV news stories if Bush were in office, “Out of Touch President Golfs While Americans Suffer.” Oh wait, courtesy of the Gateway Pundit … George W. Bush stopped golfing in honor of the troops fighting in Iraq, he thought it the wrong thing to do. Barack Obama … more change.

The thing is (according to someone I know works within the WH and travels with Dumb and Dumber) his golf game does NOT resemble Tiger Woods or Cheyenne Woods, but more like IN THE WOODS!
It’s funny this person I know told me this weeks ago that Obama goes golfing A LOT!
He’s a TERRIBLE golfer! Actually PITIFUL!
I mean he’s the most UN-ATHLETIC President in recent years. He SUCKS at basketball (looks like a black lurch) and throws a baseball like Perez Hilton. And would someone please dress the man so that he does not wear ankle tight stone wash levis with white shoes to baseball parks anymore.
And yes he plays at Andrews but he also plays some VERY HIGH DOLLAR courses like Congressional amongst them that a VAST majority of middle class people like myself could NEVER get on or afford to pay.
AT least GWB was out exercising, you know health fitness type things like running, jogging, bicycling; and YET the media ripped him for it, of course the LEFT LIBERAL OBAMA supporting media ripped GWB. They dare not rip him for this, companies like NBC fate rests with “green” jobs.
Well, let’s see now, he’s been on several vacations, flew to NY for a date night with Michelle. Oh, and don’t forget the photo op over Manhattan. He plays golf every week for the past 10 weeks, he bowls, he plays basketball, he goes out for ice cream, he has parties every Wednesday at the white house. When does he have time to actually do the job he was hired to do? Other than spend our hard-earned money, what exactly has he done? How many jobs has he created? Barack Hussein Obama thinks he is a rock star. And just think he’s only been in office for 7 months and all I see is spend spend spend. He had the nerve to stand up there and tell us that we need to tighten our belts, that we are in some tough times and yet I don’t see him tightening his belt, on the contrary, he’s spending more money than every in American History. What a hypocrite & a liar. He does not care about anybody but himself.
When is he going to start doing the job of which he was elected? When is he going to stop acting like a celebrity & start acting like the POTUS?
People are losing their jobs, their homes, everything they have worked hard for and he’s out laughing it up, playing golf, taking vacations, not doing a damn thing he was elected to do. If he wanted to spend time playing golf, taking vacations, bowling, shooting hoops & all the other idiotic things he’s done over the past 7 months then he should have stayed out of politics. This is no time to be having a good time. We are struggling here.

Personally, I do not mind him playing golf or doing any other recreational pastime.
It’s the only time we do not have to worry about what the next bill and/or debt he has in store for us and our progeny.

Obama has never done anything is his life as a leader. If you never lead, then you cannot do it when it is needed. In other words, he may hold the office of POTUS, but he is simply the speech maker. Someone else is running things.
Children love instant gratification. Barry wants everything

Do you understand how AA works? AA lowers the standards for minorities. You know how they wanted to throw out the black fire fighters test because it was unfair to blacks and they couldn’t pass it? Thats what I know of AA, so thats how I think he got into Harvard. It is a stigma that attaches itself by the mere fact that it exists.
Can you prove me wrong? Because I would feel a whole lot better if I thought he was smarter than he is showing us.
When I say work I mean work, not going to college. Workers pay the taxes that run AA so minorities can get a leg up. I don’t even have a problem with that but don’t spit in the faces of the people that help you.

It might have been the golf tee that swung it for President Obama as he looked for a summer holiday retreat — but the 28 acres on Martha’s Vineyard, the swimming pool, private beach and basketball court may just have clinched it too.
Mr Obama and the First Family are planning to spend their summer break on a $20 million retreat on the wealthy playground island off Cape Cod.

Affirmative action itself is racist was my point. Obviously, if you understood that we wouldn’t have this disagreement. I didn’t create it and others in higher esteem than me made this point long before I did.
Since you claim to know it all, I thought you could tell me when Sotomayor wanted the tests thrown out because they where unfair to blacks, how is that not racist? Singling someone out because of their race is racist. Please tell me how in the tests could be unfair? Are the tests race specific? Do they ask questions that do not pertain at all to fire fighting? There is no explanation unless the test is made easier. When you lower the standards for entrance and test scores you get lower results. Who does that help?
I’m quite sure that Obama is quite intelligent but he is the one who commented that affirmative action has helped him and others like him out.
