following comment regarding the Obama Administration being tested?
“Mark my words. Mark my words. It will not be six months before the world tests Barack Obama like they did John Kennedy. The world is looking … to stand with him. Because it’s not gonna be apparent initially, it’s not gonna be apparent that we’re right.” (Joe Biden)
Is this one of the tests that Vice President Joe Biden was referring to that the Obama Administration would face in the first six months? Don’t forget, Biden said that most likely they would not get things right.
North Korea defied the world and thumbed it’s nose at the UN and the United States. The Communist dictator, Kim Jung Il of North Korea made true on his treats that he would test a nuclear bomb as retaliation against previous sanctions by the UN Security Council.
North Korea defied world powers and carried out an underground test Monday of a nuclear bomb Russian officials said was comparable to those that obliterated Hiroshima and Nagasaki. The incident drew condemnation from Washington to Beijing and set the communist regime up for a showdown with the United Nations.
As we were sleeping, North Korea thought so much of the World condemnation and Barack Obama’s words … that they fired off two more missiles. So what does one do a day after testing an underground nuclear device, fire off two short range missiles to further laugh at the U.N., Obama and the word.
North Korea launched tests Tuesday of two more short-range missiles a day after detonating a nuclear bomb underground, a news report said, pushing the regime’s confrontation with world powers further despite the threat of U.N. Security Council action.
Two missiles — one ground-to-air, the other ground-to-ship — with a range of about 80 miles (130 kilometers) were test-fired from an east coast launch pad, South Korea’s Yonhap news agency reported, citing an unnamed government official.
Yonhap had reported earlier in the day that North Korea had declared parts of its coast off-limit to ships, signaling that a new launch was imminent.
How will Obama deal with this test? Looks like there will be more gutless United Nations resolutions. Because this time the UN strenuously objects to North Korea’s behavior. We agree Michelle, Fetch the Comfy Chair.
The U.N. Security Council swiftly condemned North Korea’s nuclear test on Monday as “a clear violation” of a 2006 resolution and said it will start work immediately on another one that could result in new sanctions against the reclusive nation.
Hours after North Korea defiantly conducted its second test, its closest allies China and Russia joined Western powers and representatives from the rest of the world on the council to voice strong opposition to the underground explosion.

After today’s news and UN sending a stern message….
North Korea, in a statement carried by its official news agency KCNA, said it was clear America’s “hostile policy” towards it had not changed.
“Our army and people are fully ready for battle… against any reckless US attempt for a pre-emptive attack,” it said in a piece criticising US moves to relocate its fighter jets.

Ugh…..WWWD (What would W Do)…….
Boy, on this one I think you need to follow W’s lead and tell Russia and China to clean up their backyard. Ultimately, those missiles could be turned on China or Russia. The only reason they aren’t is that North Korea needs money and food and historically China and Russia are willing to let them starve while the US rolls right up with a complete supermarket and ATM.
I also think China and Russia have encouraged this monster to grow over the last 15 years….well, now its time for them to do something. In case China hasn’t figured it out yet…….Beijing is closer than Tokyo to North Korea. Same thing with Vladivostock and Chaborovsk for the Russians (at least those are military outposts of Russia run by the mob/corrupt military people)….a bomb there might clean some things up!
So….WWWD??? Tell China and Russia to clean up their mess. It starts with them leading some resolutions and votes at the UN level. Until that time North Korea is just their puppet; a puppet which they have allowed to become a potential menace to themselves.
