• Danielle Parker – Discussing the unsolved murder case of her mother, Gail Parker.

On March 5, 1993, Gail was admitted to Kino Community Hospital.  Danielle says Gail suffered from bipolar disorder and had stopped taking her medicine.  However, hours later, the hospital allowed Gail to leave wearing only a blue bathing suit and a long, white coverall.  Danielle says the hospital never called any family members to come retrieve Gail, who eventually got in a taxi. Police say Gail was last seen around 1:30 a.m. at a convenience store at East Golf Links and South Houghton roads.  The next morning, Danielle says three bicyclists found Gail’s remains on the outskirts of Tucson in a desert area south of Broadway on Barclay Park Loop.  Authorities say she died from a blow to the back of the head and hypothermia.

   That is a horror story about Ms. Gail Parker.
   Did the hospital ever admit any liability ?
   They should not have let the lady leave by herself. Although she was adult and they cannot keep her, why didn’t they attempt to have a family member or someone ensure she made it home safely.
   I had some day surgery two years ago under general anaethesia and I had to be released to the care of a responsible adult. He was way way younger than me, and I can tell you we laffed as he had to sign a paper saying he would transport me directly home and look after me for a few days. It was a way for the hospital to transfer their liability to someone else just in case I didn’t wake up the next day, but at the very least, someone was aware of me being ill and at risk for many post-op complications. Which never happened and I recovered very nicely.

   I’d watch for those seven markers among your serial rapists and murderers. Someone that either lives or has lived in the area.
