Happy Easter 2009 – Christ Died for the Forgiveness of Our Sins
Happy Easter from Scared Monkeys …
Make no mistake about it, let no man, woman or politician tell you any differently … EASTER represents the greatest story of “HOPE & CHANGE” in history. There is a reason why some with an agenda want you to believe that religion is waning. They want to discourage the HOPE, true hope comes from above.
As you are coloring eggs this morning, putting on your Easter bonnets on, participating in Easter egg hunts, opening Easter baskets and spending time with family and friend; let us not forget the reason for the season.
God gave his only son Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of our sins. Today, this Easter Sunday it is a time of rebirth. Christ has RISEN!
For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
John 3:16 (KJV)
ABOVE ALL: Michael W. Smith
No Christian, if given the choice between saving Christ from the cross or allowing his Passion to go forth, would choose the former. Gifted with hindsight, we say, “Without the crucifixion, there would have been no resurrection.”
Let there always be hope in your lives … Happy Easter ALL and God Bless!

Let us not forget the true reason for the season:
CHOCOLATE!
Jesus was executed because he was creating a lose of revenue during his time.
Crucified
Above all kingdoms above all thrones
Laid behind the stone
Above all wonders the world has ever known
You lived to die
Above all wealth and treasures of the earth
Rejected and alone
There’s no way to measure what You’re worth
Like a rose

HOPE OF THE NATIONS
Jesus, hope of the nations
Jesus, comfort for all who mourn
You are the source of heaven’s hope on earth
Jesus, light in the darkness
Jesus, truth in each circumstance
You are the source of heaven’s light on earth
In history, You lived and died,
You broke the chains, You rose to life
You are the hope, living in us
You are the Rock, in whom we trust
You are the light
shining for all the world to see
You rose from the dead, conquering fear
Our Prince of Peace, drawing us near
Jesus our hope
Living for all who will receive
Lord we believe!!

I am really impressed to see this on your website. I did not attend church today, but tucked in my heart I know what today is and represents. Praise God for your comment.
AMEN!
Thing is:
He already had everlasting life.
He was there to create us.
We are made in God’s image…
And, just as the birds in the field,
not one of us will fall from the sky
without his knowledge.
He lives in us…
and we in Him.
‘Truly, I say unto you,
I will see you in paradise’
the eggs and bunnie have to do with the real reason why eastern is on this date.
the comming of spring.
early christians/catholics stole almost every pagan day there was (xmas is the midwinterthing)
think they estimate his real bday in the end of September
Nurturer is problably right about the real reason behind his execution
His execution was a fulfillment of prophesy including His internal injuries. Normally, a person will hang on the stake for days until every single muscle and bone is separated and broken. It’s an extremely painful way to die. But the Christ didn’t have any broken bones, nor was He blemished with sin; making Him the only sacrifice necessary to free us from the bonds of sin and the state of eternal death that would follow. It’s only through Him that we come to know God and have a hope of a resurrection and the promise of eternal life. I made a promise to Him and it’s not a burden. In fact, it’s a blessing to have Him as a friend; the only One that can carry the burden of our misgivings and, still, find a way to forgive.
God Bless You…
