ANNAPOLIS, Md. — A Florida utility worker who tipped police off to the location of a missing girl’s body owes back child support, and publicity surrounding the case helped Maryland officials track him down.
Roy Kronk has paid $5,000 in back child support payments, Maryland’s Department of Human Resources announced Monday. The money will be sent immediately to his ex-wife, the department said.

Kronk, who called a crime hot line with a tip that led to the discovery of 3-year-old Caylee Anthony’s body in December, stopped paying his child support in October of 2006. The amount he owed had grown to more than $10,000.

Padilla’s gonna end up in the mud. Why, on earth, would someone want to rant about a hero? Carpe, the man just lost his wife to cancer… that’s probably why he was behind on his child support. We are, all, human and have our own set of things we have to deal with. As for Mr. Kronk, if that is the worse that someone could say about him; he’s not that bad. Everyone has things they’d rather not have talked about in a public forum, but to insinuate that he was, somehow, connected to the Anthony’s and that the defense are the ones that benefited from Caylee being found is beyond idiotic! Personally, I think he’s been kicked in the head too many times by that stubborn old donkey. Either that, or he’s just plain stupid.
Finding Caylee was the best thing anyone could ever have done for her. Blessed child.

Hope- Kronk being a dead beat dad isn’t the only bad thing anyone can say about the guy. Trust you-me there is a butt load of dirty deeds done by Kronk that just haven’t surfaced yet. The man has some bad karma headed his way. Padilla finally got something right & pinned the damn tail on the donkey/Kronk. That’s why Kronk got his free county attorney bucking for trouble. Roy said very early on that his wife died of cancer and due to her illness it exhausted everything he had….don’t know when this happened but prior to that he was probably paying child support for a very long time…then fell behind…his son is 20 yrs old….
You really can’t blame anyone these days for wanting to be anonymous if you make a report…since no one paid any attention to him he did make himself known and look what happened…the poor guy had to get a lawyer to protect himself…his private life was invaded and now Padilla who is completely worthless is trying to cause problems…he is suppose to be a bounty hunter….I don’t know of anything positive that he has contributed to finding Caylee….if Padilla had used his bounty hunter instincts maybe he could of found Caylee…he just likes being in the limelight and contributes nothing…and hasn’t been right about anything…!!

What is so amazing is that alot of people are acting like they think everything is over. It’s far from over! With the antics of the Anthony’s and the money they keep coming up with for attorney’s, media managers and advisers; this thing could drag on and on and justice could be lost in the blink of an eye. Like you, my only concern is justice for this baby child and all the other people who have fallen victim to the Anthony’s either monetarily or otherwise. Lest we forget that, just, two weeks ago there was a hearing to have TES turn over all their records concerning the searches! Even they had to defend themselves through the use of attorneys… not to mention the cast of doubt that was placed on their work and reputation… mostly headed by Mr. Padilla… a continuation of jealousy on his part, imo.
No matter what he does, Padilla will always be a donkey in my book. Everyone knows a donkey: No matter how hard he tries, will never run like a thoroughbred!

I couldn’t care less what you think about Kronk. My comment to you was about this skipping about that you do when it comes to issues relating to children. On one hand you praise yourself with words written by George Benson having to do with self-love, which is way off the subject; while on the other hand you call me a hypocrite. However, you will find that I do not sway with the wind or rely on the opinions of others to dictate what I perceive as right and wrong when it comes to the justice system. We all know your conception is much like Carpe’s, in that anyone who dare disagree with you is either a lunatic or a psycho. While most of us are, simply, looking for consistency.
Just for your information, there are alot of people that pray for a hero. There are heroes that exercise their kindness to others, everyday, that go unnoticed. In the case of families that are searching for their loved ones, like Haleigh or Jason, they seek out heroes everyday by working with Law Enforcement, posting flyers and alerting the media… Looking for someone, ANYONE, who knows something. Someone who has the balls to, actually, follow their intuition and go that extra step to look with their own eyes for a child that is lying in a swamp, in an abandoned car or a shallow grave. People like Tim Miller who would travel half-way across the world to help in searching for someones ‘baby’, even if that baby is an adult. People like Beth Holloway who seeks to educate people of the dangers that exist with international travel… and people like me that look deeper into the culture of an island, like Aruba, for answers.
Yep! I believe in them all… heroes that don’t feed into this notion that a hero lies in them, but doesn’t have to do anything to be discovered, other than to feed into their own self-righteousness and do little more than exercise their fine-tuned ability to put others down. That’s one thing that you’ve done right… you’ve managed to become the best debater and if you find yourself on the short end of the line, you bring in your real expertise, which is name-calling… you call it blogging.
((EDIT)) Nobody is right all the time and, usually, when I disagree with someone, I keep it to myself. But, the people, here, are interested in achieving justice. Justice for Caylee, justice for Natalee and justice for those who’s perception of innocence goes way beyond that which is granted, under the law, to an adult. They are here to support one another in that common goal and nothing more. We are here to help families in need and if that includes hoping or praying for a hero, so be it!

I’m BACKKKKKKKKKK and really amazed at the level of hateful,hurtful rants posted lately.Guess ya’ll have been spending way to much time with cindy and george in the basement–come on Monkey Peeps–EVERY ONE OF YOU ARE BETTER THAN THAT (oh yes I ‘broke the cardinal rule–I used caps–to underscore my words.)
The posts WERE informative and very enlightening but these two cases as they drag on seem to have everyone unsettled–Caylee and Haleigh need JUSTICE and how can we as the Monkey Peeps acomplish this with all the insults and in fighting?? We are all equal and each of us have different opinions and different ways of expressing ourselves–come on Peeps let’s get it together.
May I address a few issues?
Soooooooooooo cindy and george are what was that ‘to fraigle and unstable’ to answer questions.Since when?Is there a timeline here they BOTH look like they were ‘eating up the press coverage’ with their insincere ‘looking for Caylee’ rants–Please let’s not forget:Altho Caylee and monstermom lived with cindy and george until casey moved the grandparents of the year saw this child DAILY but for ‘some unknown reason–what was that a fight between monstermom and monstergranny–’neither george nor cindy ‘looked for Caylee’ for a month (no peeps calling and asking to speak to her does NOT mean any contact–no visual hug contact). So their ‘lie,excuse about the depo is unrealistic’.
Neither of them were ‘to fraigle’ when they were being dined by a tv station in the days after Caylee’s remains were found–And the memorial service sweet UNTIL these ‘fraigle people’ mentioned monstermom,the effort to draw attention away from the whole mess,by monstergramps and last but not least how monstergramps interjected himself in the Haleigh Cummings case (looks like it may be the same outcome here for that precious one–I pray not.)
Old saying ‘birds of a feather flock together’ so it is fiting that monstergramps and abusive dad and girlfriend have a lot in common (perhaps they were sharing notes).
Not much has been mentioned on this site about our Haleigh–she to was/is innocent and is missing dumpsters being searched–cadava dogs (question–WHY weren’t these things brought in in the beginning?)The orlando Sentinel has limited coverage on Haleigh but can’t get enough of monstermom casey.

Sure I’d believe the battering you might subject yourself to–when these persons come across as agressive,know it all,needing an attitude adjustment in some cases just remember Patti NONE OF THE MONKEY PEEPS KNOW what’s going on in anothers life–so how we respond to ugly is with utmost kindness,they may well be hurting in ways we could not handle.
I am afraid I’m not kind to monstermom,monstergranny and monstergramps they killed an innocent percious child but there is no excuse for me not extending some sort of compassion in their direction (we haven’t heard from any extended family members on either side of the anthony clan–who was the older gentleman holding Caylee around Father’s day?it ain’t monstergramps for sure.Hard to believe the only people in Caylee’s short life were monstermom,monstergranny,monstergramps and monsteruncle and no one else was in the family who may have loved this child.

Glad Haleigh ‘s remains were not found (but remember caylees’ remains weren’t found for 6 months–sorry peeps but it’s true.) I am an advocate of sorts for these precious children so I’m praying Haleigh’s very safe return but as the days turn into weeks it is looking less and les likely. God’s design is what we all have to hold onto–HE has it all under control we may not see it.

Seriously, on topic, and speaking of heroes (Paul Harvey on the latest thread) this morning, I wonder if Cindy, George, and Lee Anthony personally thanked Roy Kronk for finding the remains of Caylee Marie Anthony.
In my opinion, probably not. Why? Because with the most important pieces of evidence found, Caylee’s remains, Casey’s fate was SEALED. It the truth were known, the entire Anthony family did not expect her remains to found. Also, the Anthony’s are most likely severely pissed at Kronk for finding Caylee’s remains.
I bet Kronk was on the list of “disinvites”, along with Padilla, to the memorial. I do think the Anthony’s OWE Kronk, at the very least, a debt of gratitude for sticking his neck out and bringing them a sense of closure.
I should have also added, the Anthony’s did not want Caylee’s remains to be found, as well as “did not expect”…
How many more posters will leave SM, due to personal attacks for their religious beliefs, opinions, etc.??? I, too, have been attacked, but I will chose to ignore the attackers from here on out, like Red suggested in his comments above.
I came here a couple of years ago, after the Yahoo messages boards were shut down, searching for the latest on the Natalee Holloway case. I don’t know if any of you ever frequented the Yahoo boards or not, but things were much worse there with NO MODERATIONS.

I did not follow the Natalee case very closely as I didn’t have time back then but I followed it somewhat.
My impression of the taped confession was that:
his dad is the person with the boat
the brothers? idk, I don’t know enough of them
that something precipitated the ‘shaking’ she started if true
I wasn’t aware the Arubans covered it up. Like I said I couldn’t follow it closely.
pax – I agree, NO ONE in the Anthony family really cares nor did they care about Caylee, not like a good, decent, loving, caring, compassionate family should. If they did care, they should have done everything under the sun to protect her, even against her own mother!

There is a laundry bag, same color as described by the media, and a black garbage bag with it. The other garbage bag you are referring to looks kinda gray or silver in color. The color could have faded after being exposed to the elements for months. I didn’t see a body in the bag either.
I didn’t think there would be a body in the bag but the one pic of just the bag I thought may be one of them.
Anyways, that picture I posted of the laundry bag and black one in it is the one, the one she was in.

Is it possible that a pedophile has been viewing the videos and the news coverage from Orlando about Caylee and he acted out on Haleigh? Possible, in my opinion. One might find it a challenge, perhaps, in having a girl with a similar name… and what would be more shocking than to do it on the night of Caylee’s memorial? It has to be someone that knows her… atleast knows her name. I don’t think this was done by a kid; I think it was a middle-aged man or older.
You’re question about the pedophile that went missing that night, he was arrested for a probation/parole violation. I think he may still be in jail.

Maybe, whoever it was, thought that the memorial would be the end of the stories. The morning I got up and read the news about Haleigh going missing, I felt a dark pit in my stomach… my second thought was that it was a three-day weekend. I knew she’d be dead by Tuesday morning, before he had to go to work.
As far as George going there, maybe he thought it’d be good therapy. Men either shut themselves down or get themselves busy with things in order to mourn… and others do both. I think the news of the sticker broke him down, just as it did me when I felt it. I didn’t realize how many red hearts they had in that house, even plastered all over their car. That was as good as Casey’s signature… imo.

This is from the report, the LE’s, that goes over when the bag was found:
“…………To the east of this log I observed a small skull with duct tape over the lower area. The hair had mostly fallen from the skull and was surrounding the base of the skull on the ground. Also noted were a black plastic bag and a white canvas bag to the northwest of the skull. Several visible skeletel remains were located on the ground and partially covered with vegetation in the area of the skull. These items were just inside and at the location of the veil of heavy vine obscuring the view of the items from the west”
I take that to mean that the bags were basically empty when photograghed as the remains had fallen from the bags but were still right there.

I think there is something very strange about Mr, Kronk….He seems very shady to me..In his 1st interview with detectives..He claims the first encounter was ..He was in the woods with his partner/partners..and he saw what he thought was a “human skull”..he told his partner/partners..but they didn’t see anything…he then went home and told his girlfriend, who said to call it in to the police…so he did. The next time he went back to the wooded area…”a few days later”….He saw a completely closed “BLACK” plastic bag…he poked into it with his baton…and a human skull fell out at his feet. My question is,,,during the first encounter…how did he see a “HUMAN SKULL” through a “COMPLETELY CLOSED BLACK PLASTIC BAG”????? Hmmm…..I wonder?
