Tomorrow morning their will be a public memorial service for Caylee Anthony at the First Baptist Church of Orlando. All are invited to attend, unless you are on the Anthony ban list. There is one in particular who will not be attending and that is tot mom indicted for the capital murder of Caylee Anthony.
However, Casey Anthony is against and disapproves of the public memorial for her two year old daughter Caylee. Why? Because far be it from someone else to get any attention, its all about Casey Anthony in her mind. In all honesty, who cares what Casey’s wishes are with regards to Caylee, she gave up those rights a long time ago.
Statement from Casey Anthony read by her defense attorney Jose Baez in regards to Caylee and the memorial service. So Casey Anthony breaks her silence to show her displeasure over a memorial for Caylee, rather than maybe writing her own farewell to be read at the service. How this must be eating at Casey Anthony that Caylee is getting all the attention even in death.
I miss Caylee every day and every minute of every day. I can’t be there for Caylee’s funeral, but some day I want to go and visit her grave and tell her how much I miss her.
I allowed my parents to be in charge for the funeral for Caylee. I told them I wanted her buried in a casket and I wanted there to be a gravestone so I could go and visit her. I asked them if there could only be a private funeral for just the family.
I know they cremated her. I still don’t want a public event with cameras and everybody around for Caylee’s service, but I can’t stop my parents from doing what they want. I truly hope that it will help them.
Jose Baez went on to say that Casey wanted the memorial to be private and that “people grieve in different ways”. Yes Mr. Baez, some people grieve by buying bottles of water and eating a bag of chips instead of playing an active role in their daughter’s memorial. Some people even do not petition the court in an attempt to possibly attend their daughter’s memorial.
UPDATE I: Kansas based Hate Church Westboro Baptist Church Plans to Protest at Caylee’s Memorial
The Westboro Baptist Church is just what is needed to complete the Circus that will be the Caylee Anthony Memorial. Maybe when they are done with their “HATE” they can go picket the Leonard Padilla event, seeing that he has been banned from the main memorial service. That would be quite the media spectacle.

Westboro Baptist Church detailed its plans in a recent news statement, which concludes with the phrase “GOD HATES AMERICA.” The Topeka church claims that U.S. troops killed in combat are God’s punishment for a nation harboring homosexuals.
Westboro Baptist Church is considered a hate group by the Southern Poverty Law Center.

- Bounty Hunter Leonard Padilla is back in Orlando. But is he back on the publicity bandwagon or really looking to help?
Cindy Anthony said Padilla is not allowed in to the memorial at the First Baptist Church of Orlando Tuesday, so Padilla is holding his own memorial on Suburban Drive at the location where meter reader Roy Kronk found Caylee’s remains last December. It’ll take place at the same time as the church service.
Padilla said Monday he organized the alternate memorial with Richard Grund, the father of Casey Anthony’s ex-fiance, Richard Grund. He says it’s a chance to grieve, and he says he’s also encouraging protestors to join him instead of going to the church.
“Some of the groups planning to go are ugly people,? Padilla said. ?They should just leave them alone and come and protest here.”
And for this who might question Padilla?s motives and whether he even belongs in Central Florida he has an answer.
?This is America and I have no reason to believe I do not have a place here,? Padilla said. ?I bonded her daughter out. I am probably the one guy who never made one red cent off of this thing. I pay my own expenses…I never pass the plate or pass the hat for charity like all the other people she’s dealing with. Paid my way 100 percent, so I can be here if I want it’s my dime.”

Tomorrow’s Memorials I think are going to be very interesting. I wish that this was not a venue of size as the Anthony’s have planned. I find it to be too big, and too much about C & G. I still cannot see how you can have a public memorial and state “The family is requesting that those with only the purest of hearts and truly honorable intentions attend” and yet the Ant’s are as Red said ” Cherry Picking” who can and cannot attend.
Not to mention the Kidfinder’s Charity … funds, foundation …. mentioned.
Intentions, motives, mixed emotions. I am sure that Cindy will get the last word and photo rights.
How could anyone harm anything so precious?
Reason declares that Casey is much more calculating than any of us imagined. Way I see it, if Casey states this is against her will, that clears her from having to admit she is not interested in having anything to do with the memorial. Further, she is fully aware of the plans to cremate Caylee’s remains and that it has aroused controversy due to potential evidence lost for the future should need to re-examine arise (doubtful anyway). So, she can now also claim she wants Caylee in a casket to show how “unconcerned” she is that there is evidence to hide.
This is one manipulative expert.

I wonder how much CNN, FOWNEWS, ABC, CBS, NBC, are paying Casey Anthony to shoot footage at Caylee’s public memorial service?
I doubt if Baez would even have the balls to attend, besides that he got Casey to make a statement that she didn’t want a memorial service. That way Baez won’t attend, he’ll say he is respecting Casey’s wishes.
I don’t know how that man sleeps at night. Doesn’t he see Caylee’s skull with duct tape that had been placed over her mouth. Found in a swamp and eaten by animals. And he is defending the subhuman that did it.
Casey says she wants to be able to visit Caylee’s grave, who said she’ll ever been in a position to do just that.

Okay. I just finished watching the memorial service and my heart truly goes out to the Anthony family for having to be put in such a difficult position. I believe they know deep down inside that Casey is very sick and disturbed, but because she’s their daughter, sister they have to save face. What a horrible position to have to be put in.
My heart breaks for that family and I do take comfort in knowing that Caylee is now at peace. And now I pray for justice to be served!
I watched the public memorial service for Caylee Anthony on tv and was so touched that many who didn’t know the child made the effort to pay their last respects for this little girl. I didn’t pay any attention to the Anthonys eulogizing this girl because I felt that they conducted this for the tv viewers as a ploy to garner sympathy for them and Casey. As far I am concerned the Anthonys, Casey, and Baez are a bunch of no good crooks and have no interest in getting justice for Caylee. Just listening to Lee and Cindy up there on the pulpit just didn’t ring truths and sincerity to me.
What I felt also as a mean tactic was Casey didn’t bother to contribute anything to Caylee’s eulogy..no remorseful emotions expressed..SIMPLY NOTHING! She even turned her back on the memorial service and didn’t even take time to say a final goodbye to the deceased little girl. Instead, she took time to spend it with Jose Baez!
It seems Baez is now her priority in her life and we all have felt something must be going between the two for awhile even after denials. Nothing surprises me anymore about the crooked bunch Anthonys, Casey, Baez and his defense team anymore.

well, if you came close to losing your own daughter, it makes sense Casey’s behavior would torment you some at least. Understanding how it feels when a tragedy occurs and how you kind of float through life for a while later isn’t evident in any of Casey’s behavior at any time OTHER than the night sweats at her boyfriends place he witnessed. I lost my dad suddenly, somewhat similar..but still not my CHILD. Once he passed, I had to take 3 wks off work and cannot even remember the day after.
I do not believe Casey is sick minded, but honestly doesn’t care and was hardened for whatever reason. To me, this is one of those Biblical mysteries…why some folks have desire to do what is right, and others truly couldn’t care less….KNOW the difference but would rather be their own god and to hell with the world. Spiritual issue with Casey IMO. Who knows? Maybe she hates God for being in that family (not so far fetched).

Wish I had a better answer, but I think everyone has a turning point where they choose to “go to the dark side of the force” in a matter of speaking. Actually, star wars did portray a great renidition on struggle between good and evil. George is kinda like Darth…see the light at the VERY end. Instead of being seclusion and observing the memorial tribute held for her deceased daughter, Casey decided to spend her time with Jose Baez. How many times is Baez going to see her when he sees her everyday. Baez should left her alone in jail and allow her mull over what she should do today…watch tv for Caylee memorial service.

In reference to Casey getting the death penalty, in my opinion it should be legalized in all states/countries. I also believe that cold blooded murderers (like Casey) should suffer the same fate their victims did…an eye for an eye…a tooth for a tooth…

Lee is cold and callous just like Casey. I think there is something strange going on between those two. Remember Casey, while in prison, on the phone with Lee, she said they will never know. Also the high 5 sign at the lawyers office.
His eulogy was absolutely disgusting, the drama, another deranged Anthony…he said it was hard to be the pillar of strength…what a crock…like you really look and act like a pillar of strength….he said our family needs to be united and a few sentences later he says our family is united. Which is it? I noticed that everyone applauded a singer at the memorial, everyone but Lee, he just sat there.

Did anyone notice that Lee was reading or looking at a laptop computer while saying his part of the eulogy? Jose Baez was at the jail with his laptop. Was Lee communicating with Jose and Casey thru the laptop in some way??? I still maintain that Lee is Caylee’s father. It was really creepy when he said “it has been so long since i held you………”! That is something you say to a lover, not a sibling or neice. Lee seems like a cauldron that is going to explode at any moment. If you listen to him in his early jail conversations with Casey, he sounds like a bad interpretation of Inspector Clouseau (sp?). Asking people to come forward during the funeral and share tips and information about the real killer was extremely tacky and wacky. It shows that this family still doesn’t get it and i doubt they ever will. Yes, they loved Caylee. However, part of loving someone is protecting them from harm. The two year old was thrown into the clutches of their deceiving, thieving daughter and she was no match for Casey. My heart is broken for Caylee and this family.

The way Lee spoke in his eulogy, it was not dedicated to Caylee..it was for Casey Marie Anthony. It would not surprise me one bit that there was some kinky stuff that happened between him and his sister. The way he spoke, kept kissing the wrist band with the CMA on it, and calling out her initials, people’s thoughts about the two weren’t so far off. It is totally disgusting that I wanted to throw up regarding the Anthonys!

Caylee Marie Anthony[1] (born August 9, 2005,[2] in Orlando, Florida,[3] died 2008[4]) attracted international attention regarding the circumstances of her disappearance in June 2008 and subsequently determined death. Her mother, Casey Anthony, was indicted on October 14, 2008, for the first-degree murder of Caylee. Police found Casey Anthony’s account of Caylee’s disappearance suspicious after learning that Casey had not reported her daughter missing for more than a month. The last time Casey Anthony claimed to have seen Caylee was on June 15, 2008, but the child’s disappearance was not reported to police until July 15, 2008. On December 11, 2008, skeletal remains of what appeared to be a young child were found by a meter reader. The Orange County Medical Examiner confirmed on December 19, 2008, that the human remains found 15 houses away from the Anthony home were those of Caylee Anthony.[5]
Disappearance
Caylee Anthony was first reported missing to authorities[who?] on July 15, 2008. Caylee’s grandmother, Cindy Anthony, reportedly called 9-1-1 when her daughter Casey Anthony, the mother of Caylee, would not produce the grandchild. Cindy Anthony had not seen her granddaughter for weeks and became alarmed when she smelled the odor of a “dead body” in the trunk of Casey Anthony’s car. Cindy Anthony later revised her account, stating that the smell was from old pizza.[6][7][8]
When police[who?] questioned Casey Anthony about the whereabouts of her daughter, she stated the child was with a babysitter. The purported babysitter, Zenaida “Zani” Fernandez-Gonzalez, was said to have been caring for the child for over two years. When a local woman named Zenaida Gonzalez (not Fernandez-Gonzalez) was found and questioned by police on July 17, 2008, Gonzalez denied knowing either Casey or Caylee Anthony. When police asked the grandmother Cindy about the babysitter, Cindy said that she had no reason to doubt the account of Fernandez-Gonzalez caring for Caylee. However, in the nearly three years that Caylee was alive and living at Cindy Anthony’s house, neither of Casey’s parents nor any of her friends, family or acquaintances had ever once met the alleged babysitter.[9]
From the start of the investigation, police[who?] had trouble determining the facts of the case. For instance, initially Caylee’s grandparents, Cindy and George Anthony, told police that the last time they saw their granddaughter was on June 9, 2008, but authorities found a video tape, taken June 15, 2008, that shows Caylee reading a book. When the grandparents were questioned about the time discrepancy, Cindy Anthony said that she had been confused about the dates and recalled taking Caylee to see Caylee’s great-grandfather on Fathers Day, June 15, 2008. Cindy Anthony told police that her husband probably went along with the dates because he took his wife’s word on those mistaken details.
When police began to investigate Casey Anthony, they found discrepancies in what she had told law enforcement in her signed statement. Much of the information Casey gave, starting with the babysitter account, appeared to be false. For example, Casey told police that she worked at Universal Studios; when police escorted her to the studio facility, she led them to an office but then admitted that she no longer worked there. Casey also claimed she had been investigating Caylee’s disappearance on her own which is why she did not contact police earlier. However, friends and family denied being asked by Casey about Caylee. Photos of Casey attending parties while Caylee was missing were published by media outlets. On the December 10, 2008 episode of Larry King Live, Cindy Anthony said the photos in question were “staged” photos for which Casey was remunerated, apparently for the promotion of a nightclub.
Confirmation of death
During the investigation, police officers discovered hair samples and a stain in the trunk of Casey Anthony’s car. There were unconfirmed claims that the stain was from the victim’s blood. A lead investigator on the case said the hair was the major deciding factor leading authorities to believe that Caylee had indeed been in the trunk of Casey Anthony’s car. Together with these findings, authorities “air tested” the area of the car trunk to determine if a decomposing body had been stored there. The results of the air test were sent to the University of Tennessee Anthropological Research Facility for forensic examination. These results showed that a body had been in the car for two days.[10][11]
Traces of Chloroform were found in Casey Anthony’s car trunk and evidence was found that someone had searched the Internet on Casey Anthony’s computer for the use of the chemical and how to make it. No dates of the search were given and they did not establish if the searches were done by Casey.[12]
Cindy Anthony was interviewed on September 2, 2008, and expressed her hope that Caylee was with a friend or acquaintance of Casey Anthony. She went on to say, “I believe that Caylee is still alive, because I’m still getting phone calls of people who have seen Caylee and they’re frustrated because the authorities aren’t investigating.”[13]
On October 21, 2008 the charges of child neglect were dropped against Casey. In a statement that morning, the State Attorney’s Office explained: “The neglect charges were premised on the theory that her child, Caylee Marie, was still alive. As the investigation progressed and it became clear that the evidence proved that the child was deceased, the State sought an indictment on the legally appropriate charges.”[14]
On Friday, October 24, 2008, a forensic report from Oak Ridge National Laboratory in Tennessee confirmed results from a DNA test showing “evidence consistent with decomposition” based on five “key” compounds out of over 400 possible found in the trunk of Casey Anthony’s car. DNA samples cannot confirm whether the source is alive or dead. The only DNA testing by the FBI was limited to 752 base pairs out of 16,569 base pairs (less than 5% of the mitochondrial genome sequence). Whether or not the decomposition is human is still unknown but indicated as a possibility. The process has not been affirmed by a Daubert Test in the courts.[15]
On November 26, 2008, officials released 700 pages of documents related to the Anthony investigation, which included evidence of Google searches of the terms “neck breaking,” “how to make chloroform,” and “death” on Casey Anthony’s home computer. No dates were given as to when the searches were done.[16]

In July, KioMarie Cruz, Casey Anthony’s childhood friend, told local police to investigate the wooded area near Hidden Oaks Elementary School. On August 11, 12, and 13 of 2008, tips were called in to police by a utility worker, subsequently identified as Orange County utility worker, Roy Kronk,[17] about a suspicious bag near the same wooded area on Suburban Drive, less than a half-mile from the Anthony residence on Hopespring Drive.
On December 11, skeletal remains of what appeared to be a young child were found by the same meter reader. The body itself was found within a black trash bag with yellow ties that was placed inside a cloth laundry hamper bag. Evidence such as clothing, a Winnie-the-Pooh blanket, a stainless-steel knife, and a pink backpack with the word “adorable” on it, were just some of the items that were found among the remains. It was reported that the skull had duct tape wrapped around it. Documents released to the public on January 21, 2009 determined that a heart sticker was intentionally placed on the said duct tape, that was wrapped around the child’s skull and stuck onto the hair.[18] [19] On December 12, the remains were tentatively identified as Caylee based on strands of hair found with the remains as well as the age and measurements being a match for Caylee.[20] On December 15, WFTV reported that more bones were found in the wooded area near where the skull was discovered.[21]
On December 19, 2008, medical examiner Dr. “G” Jan Garavaglia confirmed that the remains found were that of Caylee Anthony, the death being ruled a homicide and that she was killed by undetermined means. No details of the DNA identification testing were given, such as the number of loci matched or the sources used in the match.[17][22][23] Prosecutors indicated they could seek the death penalty after the finding of Caylee Anthony’s body.[24]

The case attracted a large amount of mainstream media attention, and is regularly the main topic of many talk shows, including those hosted by Greta Van Susteren, Nancy Grace, Geraldo Rivera, and others, and it has been featured on America’s Most Wanted,[25] NBC’s Dateline, and ABC’s 20/20.
The mysterious, yet still unexplained death of Caylee has been distinguished by a frustrating unexplained lack of critical information from Casey Anthony, who was initially charged with child neglect and making false statements to investigators before later being charged with murder. However, while the Anthony grandparents relentlessly called upon the public to search for Caylee in places as far as Texas, Mexico, and Puerto Rico, they also insisted that Casey had been maintaining her silence in order to protect Caylee, and that searches for a dead body were unjustified.
Casey Anthony’s parents, Cindy and George, appeared on the Today show on October 22, 2008. They maintained their belief that Caylee was alive and would be found. Larry Garrison, President of SilverCreek Entertainment, was their spokesman until he resigned in November 2008, citing that he was leaving due to “the Anthony family’s erratic behavior.” [26] Cindy Anthony was reported to be writing a book with her daughter Casey.[citation needed]
More than 600 pages of evidence released by the Orange County Sheriff’s Department, including hundreds of instant messages between Casey and then-boyfriend Tony Rusciano, have been the subject of increased scrutiny by the media for clues and possible motives in the homicide.[27]
George Anthony was reported missing on January 22, 2009 after he failed to show up for a meeting with lawyer, Brad Conway. George was found in a Daytona Beach hotel the next day after sending messages to family members threatening suicide. He was taken to Halifax Hospital for psychiatric evaluation.[28]

Caylee Marie Anthony’s public memorial was held on February 10, 2009. During this Cindy Anthony stated “It breaks my heart today that Casey isn’t here today to honor her child who she loved so much,” and “Casey, I hope you’re listening to this. I wish I could comfort you. I wish I could take away your pain and wipe away your tears.” George Anthony stated “I miss my daughter, Casey, Do not form judgments because I tell you, you do not want to be in any of our shoes.” Casey Anthony’s brother asked people who know how Caylee died to come forward. Lee Anthony also said, “CMA, congratulations…” which can be reffering to Caylee Marie Anthony OR Casey Marie Anthony. [29]

Casey Marie Anthony (born March 19, 1986, in Warren, Ohio), Caylee’s mother, has been charged with the murder of her daughter.
She was first arrested on July 16, 2008 for giving false statements, neglect of a child, and obstruction of a criminal investigation with a request that she be held on a no bond status until Caylee Anthony was located.
On August 21, 2008, Casey Anthony was released after one month of incarceration. She was released from the Orange County jail after her $500,200 bond was posted by California bounty hunter Leonard Padilla and his nephew Tony Padilla, a bail bondsman.[31]
She was arrested again on August 29, 2008, on charges of forgery, fraudulent use of personal information, and petty theft for forging $700 worth of checks and using her friend’s credit cards without permission.[32][33] Leonard Padilla subsequently rescinded the $500,200 in bail due to a lack of cooperation from Casey Anthony.[34]
On September 5, 2008, Casey Anthony was released again on bail after being fitted with an electronic tracking device.[35] Her $500,000 bond was posted anonymously,[36] and later revealed that her parents, Cindy and George Anthony, signed a promissory note for the bond.[37]
Casey Anthony was arrested a third time on September 15, 2008, on new charges of theft,[38] and was released shortly afterward.[39]
On October 14, 2008 Casey Anthony was indicted by a grand jury on charges of first-degree murder and was arrested for the fourth time.[40] She entered a plea of not-guilty to the charges that she killed Caylee.[39]
At least with respect to a related civil case brought against her, Casey Anthony has declared that she will be exercising her rights under the Fifth Amendment.[41]

I remember immediately following Caylee being found, there was a psychic’s blog that predicted that a member of the anthony family would attempt suicide, and a lot of other things.
