My best attempt at a Cliff notes version for this week I can muster without a dry heave.
John Morgan Is a Contender
Last night on Nancy Grace John Morgan said that Casey should EXCLUDE a picture of Zenaida Gonzalez that was sent to her by Morgan. “All she has to do is say that’s not her.”
Attorney for the Anthony’s, Brad Conway’s reaction is a head scratcher:
“”I don’t think the judge is going to allow John Morgan to turn this in to a three-ring circus,” attorney Brad Conway said.”
I like Conway, and I think he is a solid attorney, but where has he been if he is concerned about “this” TURNING INTO a 3 ring circus? That ship sailed before he entered stage right. Couple points in need of clarification. John Morgan is not threatening to release the video or live stream feed it. It has to be filed in the court record, and then typically the media files a Sunshine Law request. Brad Conway can then file a motion to seal the depositions until the conclusion of the criminal trial. In my opinion, he would be granted that motion.
Equally ridiculous is the notion that George, Cindy or Lee will be allowed to invoke their 5th amendment right at a deposition when none of them are named suspects or facing any criminal proceedings. I do think that if I were Brad Conway, I would motion for a continuance for George’s testimony on two grounds:
The fact that George testified in front of the grand jury and therefore his testimony under that hearing is privileged.
AND
The fact that he was recently hospitalized under the Baker Act and continuing under Psychological care. I predict that this will be successful and Cindy and Lee will give their depositions on February 26th and 27th. I also predict Baez will drop his countersuit before then.
The Florida Bar Association Receives Complaint
On Wednesday, it has been confirmed that a Complaint/Inquiry was received by the Florida Bar, through ACAP, regarding Lead defense Attorney Jose Baez. Within that complaint, it is also stated that there have been requests received by the State’s Attorney’s office for the prosecution to motion for a Nebbia hearing in this case.
Kronk is WEENED
The Community Watchdog group Countywatch, led by Michael Walzak, feels it is time for Midas-touch Meter Reader to start on solids. His own.
“Those fees are excessive, owing a debt of gratitude doesn’t allow a taxpayer to take advantage of.”
So far, the county has paid more than $7,500 dollars in an effort to help Kronk maintain privacy. I am on record that I am glad Kronk found Caylee and deserved the reward given to him by former Anthony attorney Mark NeJame. However, if within that lawyer’s invoice is billable time to wield interviews and negotiate image usage rights, the good taxpayers of Florida should be asking for an accounting.
Memorial is Planned
Although there is conflicting reports as to the confirmation of the Public Memorial Service, it appears scheduled for Tuesday February 10th at the First Baptist Church, Orlando. Ladies, if you plan on attending, and you don’t want to intentionally get felt up, lose the underwire as there will be metal detectors and body searches. For the record, I am 1000% against a public memorial for this baby. I don’t know about you but I have been publicly memorializing her since July, and this is just going to turn out to be yet another opportunity have the Murt and Lert live-feed twins capturing their Stalkathon. Maybe on that day, perhaps if one wants to honor Caylee ,they could NOT WATCH OR CHAT these bafoons.
Welcome Home George
George is released from the Daytona Hospital he was admitted to last week under a Baker Act request. Although it was announced he was returning to a Hospital closer to the Anthony residence, he in fact returned to the Hopespring Drive address he shares with Cindy and now Lee. I am hearing that the press is keeping their distance for now, as they should, out of respect for his obvious emotional condition. My mom told me if I write anything about Mr. Anthony that I need to be kind and she reads here, so.. that’s all I got on that.

I’M SOOOO FREAKIN’ SICK OF THIS CASE ALL READY!!! sorry i just had to say that. the Zenaida Gonzalez case is just a huge waste of the court’s time. casey obviously has nothing to seize. she didn’t even own her own vehicle. besides, i doubt the woman has really suffered from this case. anyone following knows she has nothing to do with it.
there are only two people I feel for in this case Caylee # 1 first and for most and George 2nd, this is the saddest case I have ever read about or kept up with. I thought the Lacy Peterson Case was horrible but this case by far is the worst. It sickens me that this little baby has not been laid to rest ….My Dear God what is next..God be with us all.
It is not what Casey has now to sieze it is what she will have when Bez’s circus is over (book and Movie deals). I think Casey should pay for using Zanaieda’s name. She obviously saw it a Sawgrass apartments in her skulking around.
George will have some motion filed for mental incompetence to testify if that is possible.
Cindy will probably sell T-Shirts at the memorial. And Lee, well I think there is more to Lee than meets the eye and I truly believe he moved the body and somehow involved Kronk (possibly Kronk called Lee when he did not get a response from police, remember Lee has been doing his own little PI work. Sounds far fetched but in this circus it is possible.
I don’t get people who think the Zenaida Gonzales case is frivolous. The woman lost:
1. Her job
2. Her home
I think she’s more than entitled to recourse in court. If Casey can’t fork over the Caylee-supplied, blood-stained dirty funds, then her vile parents certainly can. Go Zenaida, have your day in court. You’ve earned it.

You really think a public service consisting in upwards of 5000 people would not have metal detectors and searches and this was attributable to that site? You do realize the OCSO installed security cameras at the A’s house months ago, right? On the other hand, whatever is done to put Murt out of biz I am cool with so great job there.

The Public Memorial service will only add to the 3 Ring Circus. This is going to bring out many who have had pent up emotions and anger for quite sometime sure to cause some stir and spin. And don’t even get me started on the Cindy Spin!
This Public Memorial will not accomplish what really needs to be done for beautiful 2 yr old Caylee and that is a proper funeral service and burial! Hell most families bury and honor their pets in a more dignified manner that what has been allowed Caylee. All who are responsible for denying Caylee this right ought to be ashamed of themselves – Caylee deserves to be treated with dignity, pride and respect with a real funeral service.
This case continues to disgust me and I long for the day they announce the GUILTY verdict and the Judge sentences her to life in prison.

I don’t know much about Florida law, but in my state if you file a claim for intentional infliction of emotional distress, you have brought your mental state into issue. I could get your past mental health records and probably get away with subjecting you to an independant psychological evaluation. That would be interesting … if Zaneida’s attorney could move the Court to fork over whatever evaluation has been done on Casey or maybe even move the Court to allow them to have her independently evaluated. Bet Casey would drop the counter-claim like a hot potato.
I am so sick of the anthonys … I have never seen such dysfuncton as I have seen here. Reading rick.. Cindys brothers email to her… brings to light how controlling and how out of control casey lee and the whole family are..

As far as little Caylee’s Funeral being televised, that’s to give that murdering b**ch access to the service since she’s not allowed to attend & I would be willing to bet money that “IF” she watches it, it will only be because Baez will make her so she can put on the front of the “grieving mother.” Casey could care less about Caylee living or dead & that goes for the rest of the Anthony parasites….I can just see Cindy now acting as if she’s mother/grandmother of the year for setting it all up so poor misunderstood Casey will be able to see her little daughter laid to rest & putting on a huge show for the cameras. That entire family is disgusting! Caylee is definately in a better place! It’s The Anthony’s that have caused this 3 ring circus from the get go & now going to turn little Caylee’s Funeral into one as well….They all should be ashamed! And as far as George’s suicide attempt…..DISGUSTING!! He left at 8am, the cops found him @ 2:30am, in that time he consumed 8 beers, some ambien & blood pressure meds & walked out to the police car….give me a break! That’s when I decided he’s just as bad as the rest of the clan so Casey gets her stupidity honest as we say here in the South. The Anthony’s have made it about everyone but Caylee since day 1 & from the looks of things that isn’t gonna change now that she’s gone! If these people had any respect for that baby they would have given her a proper burial by now, not wait over a month & turn it into a televised “poor me” freak show! None of the Anthony’s have put Caylee 1st, it’s all about them…they can’t even show Caylee the respect she deserves & bury the child without making a mockery of it all…SHAME ON ALL OF THEM!
I understand the frustration and anger at the Anthony family but I really cringe when I read negative comments about George. The only person in that family that probably ever showed the man love was his granddaughter and now she is gone forever. I think he is the only one in that family that will finally step up and tell the truth, in fact his breakdown may be the catalyst for that. He has just been released from the psychiatric ward and is facing a memorial service for Caylee which will certainly be very hard for him. I just wish people would have some compassion for him at this time..none of us could imagine what this has been like for him. I personally think he should be in-patient care somewhere away from the Anthony family..he is in alot of pain and I hope he can be able to work through his pain out of the public eye. Having seen first hand what a breakdown can do to a person who has lost a grandaughter…the pain and grief is awful and it takes a long time to deal with this..and most people dont have a demon daughter in jail who killed their grandaughter..I think at heart George is a good man but he has been under the cloud of Cindy and Casey for many years..he needs to break free and step up for Caylee and hopefully he will come to terms that Casey did murder Caylee..that is a whole other level of pain..
When will this go away? I was told Casey’s trial could last three years.
I say go for it Zenaida, I would rather see the money Casey tries to make from selling Caylee’s photos go to someone who has suffered from her lies then line the pockets of Jose “Bozo”….
Sarah- I am going to agree with you for 2 reasons:
1)I do believe that George has lied to LE. That being said, I believe he did because he did not believe Caylee was dead at first and was bamboozled by his wife and Baez that was the way to go to get Casey out and find the baby. It was wrong, contributed to the circus, but I can wrap around it because of the intention.
2)My mom reads here and she asked me to be kind to George and have compassion.

Sarah: I also agree that George deserves some compassion. He certainly doesn’t deserve and awards because I agree with Blink – I think he’s somewhat complicit in the situation. However, the breakdown alone shows the man has a conscious.
As a parent it would be very hard to accept that your daughter killed your granddaughter. It’s understandable that there was at least some denial in the family. Denial yes, subverting the police and investigators – no.
And do imagine what it would be like to have groups of people and TV cameras outside your home for months, shouting, calling you and your family names, etc. Yes, they brought it upon themselves but knowing how bad you are hated is a lot of pressure whether you deserve it or not.
Here’s what I do know: if my granddaughter were missing, it would take me one minute or less to call the police. If my daughter was the last one who saw her, it would take me one minute or less to call the police. The failure of this family to cooperate and divulge any information or items that would assist in the search for Caylee defies belief. As the police repeatedly said to Casey during the first 24 hours, everything she told them was a lie and that she was doing nothing to help them find Caylee. That should be enough to convince anyone that Casey didn’t want them to find the body. She almost got her wish.

Barf, I do agree that we don’t know Lee’s role yet, I have never heard of someone practically begging to be arrested the way Lee is with her lawyer going on tv and all.

Yep, Casey is the star of her own show.
About George, I wish he would come clean, he gave her up initially when she was first arrested and then flipped.
I am hoping he has been honest with the police now, it’s his only chance at ever having some of the burden lifted off him.

I’m really not being sick about this because everyone knows this memorial is not about Caylee.The public has come to love this child. Public should revolt and have its own memorial at the same time and boycott this crazy event.
When I think of how many troubled mom’s or missing kids the Anthonys could help with the money this thing is going to cost…I don’t know what to say. They could be reimbursing equsearch and helping find someone else’s kid.

I personally think anyone who wants to go to the memorial should be allowed. The reason no cameras are allowed or cell phones is so the Anthonys don’t have to compete for their own pics to be sold!!! I guess I’m not surprised that the Anthony’s aren’t ashamed to show their face in public at Caylee’s memorial. I hope they are not going to film this so Casey can watch. She could care less and Baez will never convince us otherwise. I guess on Tuesday Casey will do her shopping at the prison and stock up on snacks, candy and plenty of junk, thinking of herself.

If I were Roy Kronk I would have called a lawyer before calling 911 in this case, and that is no exaggeration on my part.
I doubt if the thought of calling a lawyer when finding Caylee even entered his mind. He was suspicious of something being in that garbage bag for a long time. I don’t think he personally thought about being under attack. Orange County no doubt thought pursing a lawyer was necessary.
I agree brie, they were right to advise him.
At the Memorial…Lee was kissing his wrist and speaking to CMA…CMA…I know …it was Casey he was addressing…but what is he kissing? Is it a bracelet with her name on it?
