The apology may not mean much as it is being reported that SC police will investigate the incident. Had to do it at a State run college Mike, huh.

BTW: Today’s role models are serving in our Armed Forces and Military protecting our freedoms.

They are not in a pool, they are not on a basketball court and they are not on a football field. They are certainly not in Hollywood.

We are surrounded by hero’s all the time, the problem is that the MSM does not want to give credit where credit is due. They think money, a big house and prestige creates a hero … it is just the opposite.

Never taught my kids to look up to Hollywood or athletes as heroes,, but to admire and applaud their talent when it is worthy..such as Michael Jordan… He was one of the best at basketball.. Michael Phelps is 23, young and what he did is very stupid..but like the 3 past presidents who admitted to using illegal drugs and having alcohol issues, I gave them a pass, they were young and stupid and grew, learned from it and went on. He has suffered enormous public embarassment.. in the past few days..I don’t approve of the use of marijuana by kids.. but when I was in college I saw many more who did use it than didn’t. actually shocked me to find out some of those who did.. I hope he learns from his mistakes and goes forward.. and still I congratulate him for all his hard work and what he achieved at the Olympics.
