Again, I go back to the very, first jail-phone conversation between Casey and Lee where Lee made a comment suggesting concern over something and Casey replied not to worry because nothing would come out. What wouldn’t come out? The truth?
I’ve gone back many times and cannot find the text of that conversation, but HAVE found the text of the 2nd one where Lee tells Casey he didn’t realize the 1st conversation was being recorded or “he would have worded things differently.”
No wonder George was suicidal. Not only Caylee and Casey, but his son looks to be involved in the coverup after the fact as well!
Remember one of the first times Casey had to go to Court while still under house arrest—and there was a video of her & Lee giving each other the “high five” in the hallway—like they had just pulled one over on the Authorities? Always thought that was a mighty peculiar way for them to act at that time.
Did Lee Anthony help his murdering Sister dispose of his OWN Niece in the woods after Casey panicked & couldn’t drive around with that poor babygirl in Mommy’s trunk anymore?
Also, something else stuck out as odd…. IMMEDIATELY after Casey finally got locked up for good—(like instantaneously) Lee Anthony’s Girlfriend (the name escapes me now) rushed to Hope Spring Drive and was banging on the door trying to get in or actually did get in. The media caught that on camera as well. What did she know of that was in the Anthony’s home that she was trying to sneak in and get rid of to protect Lee?

There is nothing I can’t imagine in this case. I hope the father just lets it all out. I reserve any hate for that man until I know what the full story on him is. The rest of that family is a freak show.

Source Says Investigators Want To Know What Lee Anthony Knew

ORLANDO, Fla. — Investigators credited with saving Caylee Anthony’s grandfather’s life last week said on Sunday that they will be going back to ask members of the family some tough questions.
The investigators said they’ll be focusing on Caylee’s uncle, Lee Anthony.
Anthony family attorney Brad Conway told WESH 2’s Bob Kealing on Sunday that grandfather George Anthony has regained the will to live.
Some of the same investigators credited with saving George Anthony’s life after he disappeared now have to resume their investigation into the death of his granddaughter. That includes asking questions about what Lee Anthony knew about Caylee’s disappearance and when he knew that information.
“We kind of treat him separately,” a source close to the investigation told WESH 2 News of Lee Anthony. “He knows what he has done.”
The lawyer for Lee Anthony said on Sunday that Lee is working out of town and trying to deal with his father’s issues the best he can.
Investigators also said that they are still looking into possible charges against Lee Anthony. However, Conway said Lee Anthony is not asking for immunity from prosecution because the family isn’t sure why he would need it.
Meanwhile, the attorney for George and Cindy Anthony said the strain of waiting so long to bury Caylee was a contributing factor to George’s desire to harm himself.
“In our culture, burying your loved on is one of the biggest steps towards healing, and he has not been able to do that,” Conway said.
Conway said the outpouring of love and compassion is bringing George Anthony out of the woods.
“He does have that will to live and survive, and he knows he does have a lot to offer those who will go through it and are going through it,” Conway said.
At Caylee’s memorial, Leona Lieber said she had the same thoughts when her son died after a battle with cancer.
“When I lost my son, I just wanted to be with my son, just like George wants to be with Caylee,” Lieber said.

Newgirl, yes, I do remember both of those incidents. Read the GF claimed she was there to feed and water the dogs. Soon after, news reported C&G came to the house and got those dogs along with a few belongings before leaving to stay elsewhere after Caylee’s remains were found.
Then again, you may have a good point that she would have removed items from the home. Wouldn’t put it past anyone supporting Casey.
Well, doesn’t it seem that SOMETHING G said in his 5 page note, has triggered LE to go back and start questioning the others. Could it be? finally?
I don’t think Lee had any involvement with the murder or disposing of Caylee. I think he knew that his sister was involved without her saying a word. I think he tried hard to get her to tell the truth, but he couldn’t understand her riddles. I think Casey did all this by herself, and when it comes to the blame game, it will be everone except her. We’ll see how it all comes out.
I thought it was interesting the prosecutor’s office has filed their witness list which includes several members of Caylee’s extended family.

Anthony is charged with the murder of her daughter, Caylee Anthony. Caylee was 2 when she was reported missing in July.
The state filed the witness list Monday morning. It included the names of more than 140 potential witnesses, including Zenaida Gonzalez and several members of Anthony’s extended family.

Is it below them to sell anything and everything that should be held sacred, just to free Casey? I doubt it. Weren’t there, even, concerns about Casey selling pictures of bones and autopsy photos of her precious daughter to raise more money?
What’s wrong with these people? I, sincerely, believe in the right of every victim to mourn in private and to do whatever is possible to find their grand daughter. But in this case, they didn’t want her to be found and now they’re doing everything they can to support the defense for the, very person, who victimized them! What kind of sense does that make? It’s like no body, in that family, really cares about Caylee!
We listened to lip service for over six months…
BTW – I heard a report on t.v. that Cindy sold George’s suicide note the day after he went to the hospital. 8)

I don’t believe George last saw Caylee on June 16th at 1:50pm. I didn’t believe that story from the beginning. Like a normal day…what? Remember in George’s interviews with detectives he says he had an idea Casey wasn’t working. She even stole money from Caylee’s piggybank.
Cindy said she heard them in Casey’s room early AM June 16th before she left for work. What did Casey and Caylee do all morning?…just lay in bed looking at all their own pictures on the wall? Not even coming out for breakfast or milk or juice? There was no mention by George about breakfast on a normal day? Or even Caylee coming out to see Grandpa? Or running around, or going in her own room to play? I just don’t buy it one bit.
Casey was so angry from the night before. We know she left late that night of June 15th after her argument with Cindy etc. Caylee maybe slept in the car all night. Then Casey went back to the house after she knew George left for work. After that we know Casey went on as though nothing was wrong .
Another thing! What was Caylee wearing the night of June 15? Cindy never did say, did she? I’ll bet it was the clothes they actually found in the bag with Caylee’s remains.
Also didn’t George say when he last saw Caylee she was carrying a backpack with monkey’s on it or something like that?
I believe I read somewhere that the backpack they found in the black bag with remains said “Adorable” on it. Different backback..if I’m not mistaken.
The cloths found with Caylee’s decomposed body, did not match up with what George had said he say Caylee wearing the last time he laid eyes on her.
Wondering, what they are referring to in reference to Lee? I guess all we can do at this point is speculate/guess…
I don’t think after the big argument that Cindy would of let Casey take Caylee out late at night. Unless Cindy feel asleep and Casey had to sneak out. But if she hadn’t of come back her car would of been missing and Cindy wouldn’t of gone to work and left Caylee by herself. George said the next day right before he left for work Casey and Caylee came out of their room with backpacks. George said he asked when they would be back and Casey said that night. Maybe none of that happened, maybe Casey took off with Caylee that night because of the fight. I’m sure Cindy brought up the issue that they were going to adopt Caylee.

My mom just told me that the police found duct tape on one of the gasoline cans found in the Anthony garage. They believe it matches the duct tape found on Caylee’s skull. The gas can is one that Casey stole. The gas can is being tested by the FBI. YaYa, i agree with the things you have said. I have always wondered how this family could not have known that Casey was unemployed. Didn’t they ever try to reach her when she was at “work”? Didn’t they think it was weird that Caylee would go stay with the nanny for days at a time to go to the beach or Disneyland? The entire family let Caylee down. Casey was the star of that family, she had something on George, otherwise why didn’t George look in the trunk of the car the day he thought he smelled a dead body?

Reports Say Casey Anthony’s Brother Not Cooperating

ORLANDO — There have been reports that sheriff’s investigators want to talk with Lee Anthony, Casey Anthony’s brother, but that he has not been cooperative.
News 13 attempted to talk to Lee Anthony’s attorney on Monday, but he said he was unavailable for comment. Also, the Orange County Sheriff’s Office said Sgt. John Allan, the lead investigator in the Casey Anthony case would not comment on the reports.
What News 13 has learned is that the Anthonys have not been talking with the sheriff’s office recently. News 13 was told the Thursday before George Anthony disappeared that Allan said if the Anthonys would come forward with any “truthful” information, they would be more than happy to sit down and talk with them. It shows a clear rift between the Anthonys and the agency investigating their daughter’s case.
Anthony Continues Stay In Hospital
George Anthony continues to be monitored at Halifax Medical Center in Daytona Beach and his lawyer, Brad Conway, said it will be later this week before he is released.
Anthony was taken to Halifax Medical Center on Friday after disappearing to a Daytona Beach motel and then sending his family messages saying he wanted to kill himself and that he wanted to be with his murdered 2-year-old granddaughter, Caylee.
Police said Anthony had taken several sleeping pills, and an unfinished suicide letter was found in his vehicle. Anthony is being held for psychiatric observation under the Baker Act.
Conway said he didn’t think Anthony was ready to be released, saying he needs help to begin the healing process. The hospital confirmed Anthony’s status.
“Mr. Anthony is still in stable condition and his discharge date has not yet been determined, so there really isn’t any new updates right now,” said Salina Wang, a spokeswoman for Halifax Medical Center.
Appearing on a national TV interview, Conway also said he hopes to set the burial plans for Caylee Anthony this week.
The grandparents have held off on a burial so the defense team for Caylee’s mother, Casey, could examine the remains that were found in Orange County last month. However, Conway said it is time to get on with it.
Baez Seeks Sanctions Against Prosecutors
It appears that Casey Anthony’s attorney, Jose Baez, is apparently fed up with state not turning over evidence to the defense, saying that prosecutors should be sanctioned.
Baez filed a motion saying the state had forensic evidence taken from Casey’s car and from the crime scene that was collected and shipped off to be analyzed without them knowing about it.
Baez has filed a motion seeking more information about his client’s ex-boyfriend after he posted a picture on his MySpace page with the caption “win her over with chloroform.”
Ricardo Morales told detectives he posted the picture on around the beginning of 2008, before someone searched for “how to make chloroform” on Anthony’s home computer.
A court hearing in the case was already planned for Friday to discuss other issues in the case, including allowing Baez to search the area where Caylee’s remains were found without permission of the land’s owner.

Gigi, George didn’t look in the trunk most likely because Casey was f’ng this and that, and getting hysterically angry, jumping in between him and the car. I suppose he wanted to avoid another extended “scene”, and her tantrums, he just didn’t want to deal with it. The Inspirational Caylee Sunshine DollA tribute doll called the Inspirational Caylee Sunshine Doll is now available for purchase for $29.99 and is modeled after the slain toddler, Caylee Anthony.
Jaime Salcedo, president of Showbiz Promotions, the company selling the doll said he wants the doll to be a “tribute” by bringing respect and honor to Caylee’s life.
The doll is 18 inches tall, has blonde hair, and is wearing jeans and a T-shirt displaying a sun and the words “CAYLEE SUNSHINE.” When the doll’s belly button is pushed, it sings the song, “You Are My Sunshine.” This is the song Caylee is seen singing in a video released by the family earlier in the investigation.
The company plans to donate a portion of the proceeds from the sale of the doll to charity, however, Salcedo indicated he has no organizations lined up for this type of transaction as of yet. Salcedo said he is waiting to hear from a number of organizations including the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children.
Salcedo anticipates being criticized about the sale and the profit his company will be making on Caylee’s death. “I think that that is going to come up,” he said. He also indicated that the public does not understand how much it costs to manufacture, ship, and import the doll.
Caylee Anthony’s remains were found Dec. 11, near the Anthony family home and her death was ruled a homicide. Her mother, Casey Anthony, 22, is accused of murdering the 2-year-old girl.

I can’t help but feel that this is a dry run… unless Baez steps down. Ofcourse one could argue that the decision should not be reversible on appeal for a defendant who uses such dealings to commit fraud, obstruction or other means to deceive the court or as a furtherance to continue breaking the Law or in executing the completion of the crime.

Lee’s not cooperating? Why should we be surprised? The Anthony’s have used every means possible to obstruct justice. I have a real hard time thinking that the animal book could have been there for more than a week or two. If you look at it’s condition, there’s no way that book could have survived in that condition, even if it was inside of the garbage bag with her. It’s too pristine to have been there from June until December. Casey was in jail, so who put it there? Is it possible that it has Lee’s fingerprints on it? Not cooperating is the same as covering up, in my opinion.

Word of this was posted at the forum, and my best friend called me this afternoon to tell me about the “Emergency Motion to Recuse” filed by the Baez Law Firm which in part alleges impropriety of the Prosecutor’s Office, among other things. Baez goes on to blame the Prosecutor’s Office for anonymously reporting Baez to the bar association and alleges that the Florida Bar Association told someone that Baez made entertainment deals and how he advertised himself. Why does this concern me? Read on. LOL Still embedded in his website is the following credentialing claims:
“Mr. Baez has an extensive background in Criminal Law. A former Criminologist, Mr. Baez has worked in Corporate Investigations and and received his Bachelors of Science degree in Criminology from Florida State University.
Mr. Baez began working for the Miami-Dade Public Defender’s office in 1995. He immediately created a reputation as a fierce advocate who fought his cases until the very end and also distinguished himself by creating a division for the most trials where he won 32 of 34 jury trials within his first two years with the office. (It should be noted that one of his two losses was reversed on appeal).
Before going into private practice Mr. Baez went to work for Lexis-Nexis, where he was in charge of training judges, Lawyers, and Law Students on using the internet to investigate their cases. Mr. Baez is the complete trial lawyer, by combining his unique experience and background he has been able to successfully represent clients throughout the State of Florida and Internationally.
Confession time. Early on in this case, I was researching Mr. Baez’s credentials. I did so because of the highly illiterate gentleman that he hired to do his public relations, Mr. Todd Black of Press Media Corps. I would link the Press Media Corps site, but he has no web presence, like has no spell check. I had emailed Mr. Black and told him that his press releases made him look very unprofessional and bucolic. He responded with an email telling me that I did not know what I was talking about, and there was a method to his madness. Based on his email I thought, why in the world would any decent attorney hire this buffoon who is only going to make him and his client look even worse because of Black’s unprofessional behavior. Black appeared to be more of a liability than an asset when it came to public relations. So, who was Jose Biaz? I knew that Casey allegedly got his business card while incarcerated, but what were his credentials?
So, I visited Jose Baez’s law firm’s website to check him out. When I viewed his credentials, I was shocked to find that he had HIGHLY embellished his legal history. The thumbnail above is of his website on September 8, 2008. He claimed to hold a record of winning 32 of 34 cases in Dade county back in 1995. The problem is, Mr. Baez wasn’t admitted to the Florida Bar until 2005. I emailed the Florida Bar Association for verification regarding Baez’s claims and was informed that he was admitted to the bar in September 22, 2005. Simple math revealed that he did not win any cases from 1995-1997. He was not a licensed, practicing attorney during this time. When one states they have “won” cases, the layperson is led to believe that he was defending them as a licensed attorney. Therefore, Jose Baez’s career credentials as they were claimed on his website were untrue.

I may not be the only one that reported Baez for impropriety. However, if it was the Prosecutor’s Office, and they did file complaints of their own, the fact that he LIED about his credentials was evidence and reason enough for anyone to let the Ethics Committee of the Florida Bar Association know about it. I have tried to find an archived cache of the website prior to July 2008 for comparison, but have been unable to find one. It is my opinion that he was using his high profile status as the attorney for Casey Anthony as a marketing springboard to garner more business. Again, just one more person who is trying to profit on the back of a deceased child. It seems like there is an endless supply of leaches out there who are bound and determined to make money off of little Caylee.
There you have it. I tattled on Jose. I’m sure others did as well, but I wanted to put this out there because Jose is once again accusing his peers of malfeasance. I believe that he should be sanctioned again for making accusations that he just doesn’t have the evidence to support. His own behavior is “egregious”. He is essentially saying ’someone told someone and they told someone else’ that the Prosecutor’s Office was responsible for complaining. Isn’t that what got him in Dutch in the first place when he let Toad Black issue his ridiculous and inflammatory press releases? Black has since issued a new press release with regards to the Bar Association action:
The Florida Bar made the right decision by throwing out the absolutely ridiculous whining complaint by the State Attorney – just as with this communication Press Corps Media was solely responsible for a Media Release offering the observation that the only reason a grand jury was convened (at the time that it did) was because of the elections this past November. The State Attorney knew very well that attorney Jose Baez never made such a statement, but also knew that Press Corps Media is not under the thumb of the Florida Bar, so they decided to try to attack a totally innocent individual. Mr. Baez didn’t deserve that, just as he hasn’t deserved the filthy personal attacks by various media.
Orlando Channel 9 is the Poster Child for the “Deterioration of Journalism” and it’s not surprising to see that station so quickly bury a POSITIVE story about Mr. Baez on their web site, but other media outlets are not exempt from their negative reporting, and shameless personal attacks.
In our 34 years of working with attorneys on high pressure cases, never have we witnessed such disgusting media conduct, and as Press Corps Media continues its proud work in behalf of The Baez Law Firm on Casey Anthony matters, all we can hope for is that reporters and News Directors try to remember that ETHICS AND PROFESSIONALISM is what was taught in journalism school, not blood-thirsty ratings. You have a child’s life lost, you have another young adult life awaiting a serious trial, and you have a loyally dedicated and smart attorney that all deserve consideration and respect.

I am asking Jose Baez to reel this PR guy in. He is not doing this case or Baez any favors by issuing these accusatory and terribly prepared diatribes. There most certainly is a reason that Todd Black hasn’t been terminated yet. It’s not known now, but believe me…eventually it ALL comes out in the wash. It always does.

The words “loyally dedicated and smart attorney” coupled with the name Jose Biass is an oxymoron.
I have no idea how Casey can possibly believe he is going to win the case against her unless his irresponsible representation is part of his game-plan in order to win her an appeal. Maybe she has such a crush on him that it blinds her to all else. But Biass is a buffoon who couldn’t defend a client out of a paper bag.

I think Casey is sticking with Jose Baez because it is the one thing she had control over. Remember, SHE picked him. After a lifetime of her decisions apparently being made for her by her mother, including even having a baby, SHE ALONE had the power to pick her own lawyer. In one video it looked like they questioned her about him, but she seemed really proud of her decision to hire him all by herself. (Of course, if she hadn’t killed her own baby, she wouldn’t have needed a lawyer at all…)
Todd Black appears to be an even bigger buffoon than Baez. What the attraction there is, I’ll never understand. His writing reminds me of 7th grade, and he seems intent on alienating the entire legal community. Don’t they realize that Jose will still need to work after this case is over?

Awesome job, and great article. It would seem the egregious behavior and unsubstantiated accusations belong solely to Mr Baez. I think he need more than advertising and ethics classes, he seems to not understand what being an attorney actually means. I hope he is a big enough man to apologize to the prosecutors office he smeared, with lies and innuendo. A private complaint by someone who noticed his credentials did not match how long he had been admitted to the FL State Bar Association. He lied on his website about his resume of experience. Period.

In my opinion Baez is not there to win this case (they know it won’t happen) he is there to make sure she gets a mistrial or a damn good appeal. I don’t have the legal knowledge to know what determines a mistrial so forgive me if I am incorrect. I just feel that he is going to stay there long enough to make it easier for casey to get out of this on a (technicality) sic ? So maybe there is a method to everyones maddness.

There is no way anyone could ever say that Baez is a smooth talker. He has yet to master the English language in a professional way so that he comes off as intelligent, literate, dynamic, smooth, or coherent. He is not an effective speaker. His mother, as a young child should have taught him not to use the word Uhm at least 10 times in a sentence. He should have been corrected in school. One would think someone who wanted to be a lawyer would be a great debator. Maybe he skipped that section of his education. Sure seems like it. As an orator, he would have been fed to the lions in the Colliseum! I think he fails to deliver a message with flair, resonance, and purpose. He needs to capture the listener with every word not make them cringe and want to turn him off. I bet he coudn’t even talk his way through getting off on a parking ticket.

I have watched this case from day one . It makes me sick to think a tiny baby girl was killed and noone called a policeman once in over a month. I am a grama to 16 children and if any of them went missing for 15 minutes I would not think twice I would call the police.Casey has been mentally ill for years in my opinion and her parents did nothing to help her she controlled them . I am sure they have known for years how sick she is none just cracks she had to have shown signs and she probably has caused them great pain for years . Yet they did nothing to find there grandaughter for over 5 weeks ? They will have to live with the guilt they must have . Now is there time to stand up for Caylee and tell the truth about everything they know so the tiny little girl will be able to rest in Peace. It breaks my heart that Caylee had to go through what she must have had to and I pray for her everyday and will never forget her . Lee Anothy needs to face what he has done if he is part of this . I dont feel sorry for anyone but Caylee she should have been protected . God Bless Caylee Always . God will Judge Casey.

I think Lee was involved with Casey’s computer.
Remember when Cindy and Amy went to Tony’s house to get Casey? Tony said that he and his roommate were playing video games and Casey was sitting on the couch using her laptop. She had to leave abruptly and couldn’t grab any of her stuff.
Lee went back later that evening to get her things. I read somewhere that Casey’s computer had a bluescreen (I believe Lee’s interview) when it was powered on. I know that a computer engineer at Microsoft can easily tell if that was a true windows crash caused by a bug or if critical files are removed. I believe Lee went in and deleted a bunch of files in order to keep the computer from booting properly in an attempt to protect Casey or himself from whatever was on it.
I’m sure the computer forensic specialists will be able to tell when those files were deleted and place the computer in Lee’s hands during that time.
IMO that’s at least part of what LE meant when they said “he knows what he did”

In the July 26th jailhouse call between Lee & Casey….Lee is asking Casey if she thought Caylee was still ok & where she thought Caylee may be. Casey’s response to Lee is “In my gut she is still OK” then Casey goes on to say “it still feels like she is close to “HOLT”
Casey clearly says HOLT not HOME….Caylee was found in the woods next to Hidden Oaks Lake Trails elementary school. It wasn’t until it was pointed out to me by someone else on another site that Casey said “HOLT” and when I listened to it again I couldn’t believe how plain it was. SM: Have you been following the case? Caylee was NOT found anywhere near Blanchard Park (klaasend)
They are all lying to protect Casey. Lee was involved along with Cindy & George. When Caylee’s remains were found & Lee, Cindy & george were away for the Larry King interview (BTW, Baez showed up to talk with the family over dinner) – they sent Lee’s girlfriend Mallory to the house to “secure it” before police arrived. Comway & Baez are working together to make sure that they (the Anthony family) contine to lie to give Casey the best shot of creating reasonable doubt. Last, I find it sad that the judge allowed a 20 day period for Cindy & george to collect themselves before being deposed in the Zenida case. Conway stated mental distress -HOWEVER, both Cindy & George came to one of the latest court dates where Baez was arguing against the release of the Casey tape (upon learning that her daughter’s remains were found) and Cindy & george looked FINE – George even smiled. If the Florida judicial system allows these pigs to get away with this – I hope Karma gets them all in the end.
Why dont they just go after grandma,she was jealous of mom because she wanted little Caylee to call her Mom instead ,and that’s whom I honestly believe done it.I do believe that’s why grandpa tried to his suicide stunt because they were closing in on grandma.
Why don’t they just spring them both with a lie detector at the same time so they don’t have anytime to make any stories up.
