Another Overboard on Cruise Ship … Cruise Ship Worker Falls Overboard Carnival Sensation
It’s ahppened again. This time, an employee of Carnival cruise, a member of the entertainment staff, has fallen overboard the Carnival Sensation cruise ship. The eyewitness accounts indicate that the worker clearly went overboard accidentally. What is going on with cruise ships and people not being able to stay aboard them these days? They may want to consider putting a safety net all the way around the boat like the circus does with the trapeze act. The search is underway for the missing overboard cruise ship employee.
The Coast Guard is searching for a cruise ship employee who fell overboard early Thursday off Florida’s east coast.
Six fellow employees saw the off-duty entertainment staff member fall overboard at 12:40 a.m. ET, a Carnival Cruise Lines statement said.
“The eyewitness accounts indicate that this was clearly an accidental overboard,” the statement said.
The other employees threw the man a life ring as the Carnival Sensation sailed about 20 miles off Vero Beach, Coast Guard Petty Officer 2nd Class James Harless said.

So does this one lend any more credibility to the any of the other “accidental” newlyweds or spouses going overboard.
Safety Nets actually sound like a pretty good fix!!
SOME will be disappointed to hear this, DARN!!!!! The husbands innocent!
This doesn’t mean the husband is innocent. This means there is a serious problem with safety aboard this cruise ships.
They need to make those balcony sliding doors only open to about a foot or less. Just like those windows in the Sahara at Las Vegas; so those that gambled away their life savings won’t have the opportunity to jump 25 stories.
No one walks out a balcony door and falls over a 3.5 ft. railing. It’s simply not possible.
The railings on cruise ships are designed to prevent people from ‘accidentally’ falling over.
If these six employees were watching this guy do something stupid, and didn’t intervene … or perhaps were cheering him on … what does that say about the caliber of cruise-ship personnel?
Want to go on a cruise ship? I don’t….
Or was this as “accidental” as we are told?
A member of the entertainment staff went overboard?
Quick, can we get Kathy Griffin booked as a replacement?
