What happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas … including the record snowfall of 3.6 inches they just received. What are the odds that it would snow in VEGAS? Hey Al Gore, you should have bet on snow. Al Gore states that there is global warming yet it is snowing almost every where in the US. The Northeast is still trying to dig out of last weeks ice storm that left millions without power. The Deep South recently witnessed some unseasonable snow and Wisconsin braces for a potential 15 inches of snow this weekend.

A rare pre-winter storm brought Las Vegas its heaviest snowfall in nearly three decades, closing the airport and freeways as several inches coated marquees on the Las Vegas Strip and weighed down palm trees.
The storm Wednesday and early Thursday also dumped snow on rain on much of southern California and parts of Nevada outside Las Vegas.
The National Weather Service measured 3.6 inches of snow overnight at Las Vegas’ McCarran International Airport, and meteorologist Jerome Jacques said about 2 inches was left before dawn on the ground near the “Welcome to Fabulous Las Vegas” sign.
Recently the AP reported a rather chilling warning on global warming. However, many scientists called the report on “global warming” hysteria.
Scientists skeptical of the assertion that climate change is the result of man’s activities are criticizing a recent Associated Press report on global warming, calling it “irrational hysteria,” “horrifically bad” and “incredibly biased.”
They say the report, which was published on Monday, contained sweeping scientific errors and was a one-sided portrayal of a complicated issue.
“If the issues weren’t so serious and the ramifications so profound, I would have to laugh at it,” said David Deming, a geology professor at the University of Oklahoma who has been critical of media reporting on the climate change issue.
Scientists Challenge Global Warming “Crisis”
The U.S. Senate Committee on Environment and Public Works has announced a new 231-page U.S. Senate Minority Report with statements from over 650 dissenting scientists from around the globe challenging man-made global-warming claims made by the United Nations Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) and former Vice President Al Gore.
The report notes: “The over 650 dissenting scientists are more than 12 times the number of UN scientists (52) who authored the media-hyped IPCC 2007 Summary for Policymakers.”

Of course the over-riding point to you moonbats is that man has little to nothing to do with the environment. But then again I guess you blame it on the cave men for The ICE AGE.

Global warming is caused by Americans. When Americans
warm up the world’s weather, the American Government
collects plenty of money. The same Government gets to
control it’s people and all the companies thru laws that
are designed to collect money for this ‘warming’ of the
planet. If China or India ever catches on to this scam they
may also find ways to extract money from Americans for
the warming. The more warming, the more money flows
from the people to the Government. It is not in the best
interest of the Government to try and stop an income stream
of this magnitude. It’s called ‘Warmfall Profits’. Bad bad
Americans!
In the meantime, grab your skis, it’s snowing in Vegas!

All anyone had to do is watch the Olympics from Beijing to see just how much China cares about the air. And they actually went out of their way to close businesses down to lessen the smog.

Based off the 2008 Republican/GOP Platform http://www.gop.com/2008Platform/Environment.htm, it would seem “moonbats” in the sentence “Of course the over-riding point to you moonbats is that man has little to nothing to do with the environment.” can be easily replaced with “wingnuts”.
Explain how global warming being “very likely” man-made is exclusive to the LEFT yet the RIGHT believes the same?

SM: Once again I will blame the Ice Age on those evil cave men. They were just so “Neanderthal” in their thinking.
